MemberCompsognathusJun-24-2013 1:38 PMAgreed. I thought Giga was longer than Mapusaurus though?

SpinoDinoOfLaPush
MemberCompsognathusJun-24-2013 1:44 PMI thought Giga was too. Oh well. Nice ranking anyways.

Rex Fan 684
MemberCompsognathusJun-24-2013 2:48 PMI'm sorry, but I don't agree with this list completely. I do think that Spino was longest, but some of those other ones like Mapusaurus or Saurophaganax seem out of place. Just my opinion though.

MemberCompsognathusJun-24-2013 3:27 PMShouldn't Acrocanthosaurus be #10 i thought he was longer than Allosaurus?
Either way cool list.

MemberCompsognathusJun-25-2013 9:28 AMMapusuarus is longer than Giga too. Here's a pervic girdle 10 % larger than those of MUPCv-ch1, so 2 % larger than those of the largest Giga know, MUPCv-95. And Acrocanthosaurus was 11.5m.

MemberCompsognathusJun-25-2013 9:42 AMWhat about Dienochierus, it was estimated to be at least fourty feet long.

Hi

MemberCompsognathusJun-25-2013 9:56 AMYes, but I not included Deinocherius due to massive uncertains about it.

Rex Fan 684
MemberCompsognathusJun-25-2013 3:46 PMDeinonycherius is a little uncertain as far as size goes. A lot of scientists reduced it's size to 33-36 ft long, not 40. It was still big though.

MemberCompsognathusJun-25-2013 4:28 PMAllosaurus was only 35 feet long, I can think of other dinosaurs longer than that, the first is Yangchuanosaurus, the equal or slightly longer chinease cousin of Allosaurus, the rest, give me time.
Hi

Rex Fan 684
MemberCompsognathusJun-25-2013 8:03 PMAllosaurus probably was only around 33-36 ft long. Tyrannosaurus averaged about 12-13 meters(40-43 ft), but maxed out at 14-15 meters(46-50 ft). I mean no disrespect, just stating my opinions.

MemberCompsognathusJun-25-2013 8:44 PMAs far as Chilantaisaurus goes, it was recorded at 2-3.5 tons. I could only find weights, but based on that weight, it seems to only be 30-35 ft long. One scientist said 13,000 lbs, but being that there was only one scientist who said that, unless I missed something which is possible, it seems unlikely. At that length, it would be around 40 ft, but I doubt it to be honest.

MemberCompsognathusJun-26-2013 5:05 AMAllosaurus fragilis was 35 ft, A. amplexeus can grown up to 12.1m. Chilantaisaurus is estimated up to 13m by Holtz. Tyrannosaurus may have been up to 15m, but it is not a sure thing. So I put the size of the largest Tyrannosaurus confirmed, "Sue."

Rex Fan 684
MemberCompsognathusJun-26-2013 3:16 PMThat may be true, but T-rex was also heavier than 7 tons. That goes for Sue as well. You can read about that in my post about T-rex being larger than originally thought. Anyways, like I said about Chilantaisaurus, I only found one scientist, I guess Holtz, saying that it could be about 13 meters and 13,000 lbs. Others may have said that too, but I have not found any reports. Not being rude, but I don't think Chilantaisaurus exceeded 35 ft and 3.5 tons. Just my opinion though.

Kelmayisaurus gigantus
MemberCompsognathusJun-28-2013 3:53 PMF Y I kelmayisaurus gigantus was 22 meters long (72 feet long) wich makes it the largest theropod to ever exist.

Rex Fan 684
MemberCompsognathusJul-09-2013 1:22 PMKelmayisaurus was only about 30 ft long. Kelmayisaurus gigantus has been found to be a mix of sauropod bones and theropod bones, rendering Kelmayisaurus gigantus invalid.

MemberCompsognathusJul-09-2013 1:31 PMTarbosaurus, 40 feet long, suchomimis, it was at least as long as allosaurus, but it was found a sub adult, so it was longer.
Hi

Rex Fan 684
MemberCompsognathusJul-09-2013 1:59 PMSuchomimus was probably 36-40 ft long. Similar length to Tarbosaurus.

MemberCompsognathusJul-09-2013 2:18 PMIf Dienochirus was in the same family as Gallimimus, it would be 40 feet long. I did some math using a Gallimimis arm and a Dienochirus arm, and Gallimimus had a 4 foot arm, give or take a few inches. And it was 20 feet long, so it would stand to reason that a Deinochirus would be twice as long with arms twice as long. So that makes it 40 feet.
Hi

Rex Fan 684
MemberCompsognathusJul-09-2013 2:26 PMUnless Deinocherius was a therizinosaur. That's what I think it is. Therizinosaurus had 8-10 foot arms and it is estimated to be about 36 ft long. Deinocherius had arms of similar size and was probably in the same range. No more than 40 ft, but probably more in the 30-36 ft range.

MemberCompsognathusJul-09-2013 2:30 PMI know that, but this was just if it was a Gallimimus relative. Or if it was a carnivore, it would be much bigger than Spinosaurus, especially if it was a three fingered tyrannosaur of Abelisaur.
