This is like my Tyrant Dinosaurs, Spinosaurs, and Abelisaurs post. This one is about the ceratosaurs though. Elaphrosaurus- 16 ft long, 500-600 lbs This lightweight predator was once thought to be an early ornithomimid. However, it is now considered to be a ceratosaur. In the movie, it was inaccurately depicted as being able to spit venom and have a frill. Either way, it was a fearsome predator. It was also featured in the award winning documentary When Dinosaurs Roamed America. This large predator, famous for it's horns, has been featured in a number of movies and shows which includes but is not limited to: Jurassic Fight Club, When Dinosaurs Roamed America, Jurassic Park III, etc. Questions? I agree with both of you. Ceratosaurus is one of my favorite dinosaurs. The family as a whole are very underrated. They were all terrifying predators even if they don't get as big as say, Allosaurus or Acrocanthosaurus.

The ceratosaurs are kind of odd, but super cool.

It adds to their character. With it's 6 inch teeth, Ceratosaurus is probably the deadliest. Those teeth are some of the largest compared to body size as far as the large theropods go.
