"Stranger Things" star hopes to be in the Jurassic Franchise one day!

It has now been over a week since Stranger Things has finished its final season, and no one can deny that it has left a lasting cultural impact. ‘Vecna’, the villain of the show as portrayed by Jamie Campbell Bower, managed to thrill and terrify audiences, in his portrayal of an iconic villain. However, this may only be the start of his career ambitions. In a recent interview with Collider, Mr. Bower was asked by the magazine what the next franchise he would aim for was.

Mr. Bower wasted no time with his response.

“Jurassic Park. I would love to be in Jurassic Park. I mean, I've always loved those films growing up, and it's funny. I think I watched one of the new ones a while back when it first came out, but I have watched more of the new ones recently. They're amazing, they're so much fun. Yeah, and there's such a nostalgic feel to those first three movies for me as a kid as well.”

Collider asked a follow up response, asking if he would want to get eaten by a dinosaur in the franchise should he join the cast of the next film. Bower’s response was as follows:

“: I feel like in Jurassic Park, the people that get eaten by the dinosaurs are the bad guys. You know, there's that great shot where the man gets eaten on the loo, on the toilet in one of those early ones. Would I insist on getting eaten? Maybe, maybe. Yeah, no, no, no, no, actually, no.”

It is perhaps no surprise that after the success of Stranger Things, that Mr. Bower should set his sights on a franchise. While the next Jurassic World Film has not been officially announced, each film in the Jurassic World installments have been very financially successful.

His comments are certainly very indicative of having been a lifelong fan, particularly the original trilogy. While it is difficult to speculate on what role he might actually play, his performance as Vecna in Stranger Things, particularly as his human form ‘Mr. Whatsit’, could be suitable for a villain role. But that is just this author's speculation.
