The Jurassic World sequel is currently eyeing filming locations on the northern countryside of Wales, in Brecon Beacons we have learned, following a fresh report from The Sun as well as our friends at Jurassic Outpost. The alternative setting to Hawaii's lush jungles will offer a refreshing new landscape for Jurassic World 2, if we are to assume this location will be used for scenes involving Dinosaurs.
The Sun reports:
The lush green countryside around the Brecon Beacons was perfect for the movie [and] Penbryn in North Wales is also expected to be used to film some scenes’. The lush green setting and countryside fitted the bill. Producers have been assessing potentially suitable areas all over the UK but chose the Valleys as a prominent area to film.
A big thank you to Chris, over at Jurassic Outpost for digging up this news! We're very excited to learn more about Jurassic World 2's new filming locations as well as the new cast joining Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Other filming locations will include Hawaii and London. Filming begins early next year!
