LS before Terrance's Story? Well sh!t, I might not have it finished before the 13th, that's 6 days and I have nothing but the round 1 schedule. I've got three or four mistakes tops to clean up in Terrance's Story JP. I might not even have time to write more than a fight a day between now and the 13th.

@ UCMP sure, but there are always outliers within a species. For example, let's say a  6 ton rex and 14 ton behemoth rex. those aren't the norm, far outside the expected weight for a healthy individual.

The 20 ton estimate for spino is a load of bull. There's no scientific evidence to even merely support it. The 9+ ton rex however, has a factual basis.

My tyrannosaurus weight estimations are any where from 9-11 tons. With rather large individuals getting to around 13 tons

I love the JP soundtrack too, that's something I forgot to mention. I dunno why, but my favourite musical bit in TLW was when the Tyrannosaurus pair walked in on the scene where Eddie was trying to pull the RV back up.

The 6 to 7 tons would be out of the 'normal' weight range for an adult T.Rex, but an unusually small and starving Rex would imo be at about 6 to 7 tons. If we are talking about a healthy animal it would be in the 9+ tons range.

Not really. Not sure if I've said it, but I hate almost all music that isn't country. I don't mind Justin Timberlake or Hedly though.

Paden, I agree with you. Environment, individuality, and other factors could effect a T. rex's weight, that's why I provided a little wiggle room.

Carnosaur, I know what you mean. But hey, it's no chunkier than the "20 ton Spinosaurus" a lot of people believe in ;)

UCMP, I think that a healthy, fully grown, and mature T. rex would weigh no less than 16,000 pounds(I'll admit 18,000 may be a touch high). That is a T. rex that has reached it's full "potential." I understand some might not reach their full potential and some might even exceed the 28,000 pound weight. A good example for that idea are dogs. Labrador Retrievers should, I do stress should, be no less than 65 pounds and no more than 80 pounds or so. That's the "standard." That said, some may be smaller than 65 pounds and some may be bigger than 80. That make sense?

TS:JP does have some swearing in it, but not anything worse than the word "bastard," used by the unfortunate man in chapter 1, as well as by Muldoon at the end of Chapter 20, and probably a few other times.

It's not that, just the damn singer's voice. She (or he) sounded like a prepubescent child. 

Just listened to the other one, and sorry to say, but not a chance in hell.

I think that some could've been a mere 6 or 7 tons while others could've reached up to 14 tons (i realized that 16 is just too much) so I pretty much agree with you except for the minimum weight.

i agree with most of this, but don't you think a 14 ton rex would be a little chunky? I myself think the weight range is 8-12 tons, just my opinion ;)

Yeah, cant believe some people take stereotypes seriously. I don't like country, so I don't know who Luke Bryan is. I listen to any music with a nice tune. So far, my favorite band is Bastille.

That and nobody gives a damn wether or not you're the same race as them. There's no unequal treatment just because of race or age or any of that other crap that people judge each other by. 

Like I said, I'm a redneck. I'm about as redneck as they get here in the great white north. Everyone has different preferences, but I love country music (I crank the radio in my tractor every time my kind of night by Luke Bryan comes on, and sing along, I can't sing, or hear anything over the radio, so it doesn't matter).

I HATE country music, but hey, each to his own. Most music these days is just garbage. I don't mean to sound like some stereotypical old man with a cane, but it is. All these songs talking about how just to have fun in life, etc.

I am actually a Mexican. That's what I like about this forum. Mostly everrybody comes from different countriees and ethnicities.

I hate most music the same way rednecks hate Anti-Gun laws. I am a redneck, I've always said I'm not, but god dammit I am. I wear Camo pants, I like guns, I like big trucks, I've got a lifted 4 wheel drive, I love country music. 

That actually made me laugh more than it should have. I go to a Catholic School, so schools like the one I go to don't have enough money to afford a bus for students since my school isn't allowed to get money from the governemnt. SO on the bright side, I don't have to experience that every day. What's worse is that I HATE rap "music" with a PASSION, and these days every guy in my class thinks it cool to have some stupid, annoying, and obnoxious rap battle.

Unfortunatly, I'm not like you. I like sleep. I didn't get enough sleep one night, so I slept on the bus to school. Try sleeping through EVERY god damned little kid on the friggin bus singing "The wheels on the bus" (I thought that song died with the 90's) and having your Ipod cranked to drown the bastards out.

Oh, you are on Spring Break, then? If I were you I would read it at night, if you're like me and CANNOT fall asleep until midnight, I would just get a small flashlight and read the book. The book is REALLY good!

LS means "Large Sector" to be exact. I've got big plans for the Finale, and I don't even know what 3 are going to be in it yet. I'll probably start writing it shortly. 

I'm looking forward to finishing the book. Might not have time to seriously read it until I'm back in school.

Also I just want to say The Lost World is awesome! I personally think it's greatness equally amounts to Jurassic Park! (The books, of course.)

What do you think of LS's current status? It has 13 competitors, so 6 fights in Round 1, 3 fights in round 2, and a three way for the finale, along with the top 4-6 in an all out brawl for the bonus fight like what I did for MS.
