However, there is some truth to this.  One Jurassic World script for the I.rex was to have it as a fictional species that was discovered in China.  Fortunately, Trevorrow basically vetoed that from the start.  Link here.

Good for me. Kinda like his ideas for Star Wars and first one was great. This guy has some serious edge and undestanding of movies. Jurrasic World trilogie parrales Star Wars trilogy with director starting and ending stuff.

I liked the figure and lego set, the black body with yellow stripes is cool idea. Design is great, more concern about his place in the story. Hopeffuly not just repeat of the first plot with indominus.

I'm getting carnotaurus vibes from the head design, I loved it!

Considering all the production woes and studio interference this movie went through I'm fairly impressed that the end result was coherent at all. For a time I felt this movie was better than the fourth one, but after rewatching the entire series, I think Jurassic World edges it out--It's pretty neck-n-neck.

Still, I don't think the movie is particularly bad, but it suffers from an extremely thin narrative, which couldn't have been helped--Poor Johnston was shooting this film while the screenplay was practically being written. He did the best he could under the conditions and was really excellent with the damage control.

And no, I'm not a JP Genwunner. I enjoy the first two movies (yeah that's right, I like TLW:JP).
