Thanks, the dilophosaurus is my favorite dinosaur
I’ve wrote a scenario for my topic please go check it out.
Probably, but I've only known him for a month or two and we haven't talked in a while, so don't take my word for it XD
Thanks!! Btw Do you think James would like this?
Great job! I agree with your reasons for why you think Megalodon would win too
I got the inspiration from both of them and also I just made a few modifications to it.
Nice fight! Did you get inspiration from Animationking on Wattpad and/or James for the style of the fight? I really liked it! I do have one problem though, you don't say why you think Megalodon would win (even though I agree with your decision). Also, in the future maybe add that and a battle scenario. Other than that, really good job! Especially for your first topic!
Thanks, it means a lot! Also, just now noticed the topic in the forums, I'm going to go check it out now!
Also please check out my megalodon vs sarcosuchus fight. It’s short though and it’s my first topic but I’ll make modifications to it if I have the time
I don’t see any problems with this aquatic fight. Maybe add some photos of each contestant like James but all in all I enjoyed this epic match up and I hope you have the time to make more aquatic match ups
Thanks, it was really fun to write! Thanks for such a good suggestion! I definitely need to improve on my writing when it comes to underwater battles though XD
I liked on how you used large individuals of each species in this epic fight.
YES YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! Awesome battle, this was definitely worth the wait.
I've read some of your topics before, particularly the Daily life of a Dilophosaurus. Great stuff man!
hey TheLazyFish would like to review some of my work, most of it is Jurassic Park, Dinosaur, or Evolution related. I am the author behind the Gojiverse, Las Cinco Muertes: Jurassic Park Chronicles, Jurassic Park: Aftermath, A Dailey Life of a Tyrannosaurus and Dilophosaurus, and several Evolution based topics
Firestreak bolted out when he saw the Dryosaurus and the Homalocephale herds being disturbed. Among the fleeing herbivores was alone tiger stripped Velociraptor and a charging Stegosaurus. Firestreak reacted fast, he managed to catch up to the stegosaurus before leaping on to its ribs. Firestreak dug his sickle shaped toe claw deep into the stego's thick hide. The stegosaurus groaned as it stopped short from trampling Tigerfang. The stegosaurus jerked side to side attempting to shake off the darker velociraptor.
The stegosaurus stomps furiously into the soft ground, its trumpeting groans could be heard throughout the jungle. Firestreak attempts to hold on but was soon dislodge from the angry stegosaurus, he hits the wet muddy ground with an audible splash. The stegosaurus was still thrashing about groaning in pain. Tigerfang hissed at the stegosaurus to get its attention before Firestreak did the same, both velociraptors flare their forearms to intimidate the injured stegosaurus into fleeing. The stegosaurus turns around, Tigerfang takes some steps back but Firestreak bolts forward. Tigerfang immediately snaps his jaws at the younger velociarptor, Firestreaking glances back at Tigerfang to bellow a hiss before snapping his head back only to see the stegosaurus wasn't retreating... it was readying its thagomizer to strike at any theropod dumb enough to attack it.
Tigerfang twitches his eyes to signal firestreak away from the stegosaurus. Firestreak not understanding Tigerfang's eye signaling, just gives him a quizzical stare. Firestreak turns his head back to the stegosaurus then back at Tigerfang before realizing the gesture. The two very different velociarptors subspecies retreat into the forest.
Okay i'm going to push this story forward and try to revive some of my other Jurassic Park story projects

Yes the original is the best one but you don't have to trash the sequels neither.... unless its JP3 ;P
Well, ducks, swans, geese, etc. Have feathers, so not exactly out of the question. Best example I think would be penguins. My opinion though. I kinda agree with your opinion on switching stances, but I'm not sure exactly how it could walk on four legs, definitely not on knuckles though XD.
I think Spinosaurus switched back and forth between Bipedal and Quadrupedal stances. I don't think spinosaurus would have feathers due to its semi-aquatic nature I believe spinosaurids would gradually evolve away feathers. Also looking at the spinosaurids family tree, they evolved from megalosaurians which diverged before more bird-like theropods evolved (I.e. Carnosaurians "Allosaurids and Carchardontosaurids" and Ceolosurians "Tyrannosauroids, Orthinomimids, Dromaeosaurids, Troodonids, and Birds)
But still I’m excited to see it
I see your point an average depth of a lagoon rarely exceed 60 meters.
I think it has to be in a coral reef, because an estuary would be too shallow for a Megalodon, and it would be really hard to explain how a Megalodon was in such shallow water that it got stuck in a lagoon.
Maybe, but not sure that's enough depth for a Megalodon. Maybe a deep one, but it can't really use the full extent of its abilities. Sometimes crocs venture out a bit, so maybe I could just say it was swept out by a flash flood or that it ventured out in search of prey or something into open waters.
Maybe the fight can take place in a lagoon or estuary.
True but according to most articles about purussaurus it’s environment was described as “tropical and coastal” and megalodon was also a coastal animal but mostly offshore
Thanks, that means a lot to me.
Not many places to have a fight, I'm currently thinking about either open ocean or a deepish coral reef, because a Megalodon wouldn't really fit anywhere else tbh XD
Great battle, Thank you for the shoutout and also what arena will you be using for the megalodon vs purussaurus fight?
Not hatchet bite, I don't think it's jaws and teeth are designed for that, but might have used its teeth for slashing, maybe. I think it would have used its teeth to hold prey and/or to sever veins in its prey's neck. Might have just been for holding fish like Spinosaurus, who knows?
Really heavy set and quite large, so I doubt it
It looks a bit suited for cold climates to me, I think it would have coloring more suited to a swamp environment, to camouflage a bit. Other than that and the slightly excessive feathering, I think it looks pretty realistic.
I got what you mean TheLazyFish, I also think that spinosaurs could look like that, probably less feathers, but the design could be that
I didn't mean quite like the old drawings, I was kinda exaggerating, just somewhat inclined, or more like this:

Here's some reasoning for it, and a link to more in depth explanation I can't provide: https://thepaintpaddock.wordpress.com/2016/07/16/t-rex-vs-spinosaurus-the-truth/
Unfortunately we have too less skeletons and bones to be sure if Spinosaurs was bipedal or quadrupedal.
We can just try to deduce it by some characteristics of its bones, such as the toes which are plat on the lower part which touches the ground, just like ducks or acquatic birds. This probably makes Spinosaurus not like a deadly theropod like Charcarodontosaurus or Tyrannosaurus but more like a fish eater...a giant crocodile as you said.
To me it can be both, sometimes it walks on 4 legs and sometimes it walks bipedal.
Spinosaurus was just a giant crocodile with a spine on its back. Tripedal positions aren't possible with Dinosaur hips. I hope you're memeing when you suggest tripedal positions because it's absolutely ridiculous.

These are pretty awesome. I will always have a special place in my heart for anything 'Jurassic' and I think JA Bayon has done a terrific job. Looks quite scary and the visuals are beautiful. Also glad that the plot seems interesting. Here's to hoping the kids are well written and acted, unlike the first Jurassic World.
Sea birds and other marine feeding birds are bipedal, so Spino could be the same. If it had a posture like I mentioned it wouldn't necessarily fall over all the time, and if it swam or dived to catch fish, that wouldn't be a factor.
It is known that it was quadrupedal opinions don't matter it's fact that it's quadrupedal Bipedal just doesn't work for its lifestyle. We know it ate mostly fish and smaller dinosaurs. If it were bipedal it would fall over every time it hunted, I donno about you but to me that seems like a major set back.
