I've have a question for all of the people who say Utah had a good chance of wining in a one on one. Do you think Utha could beat a spinosaurus in a one on one battle?

Yeah... 1 on 1... Utharaptor would have almost no chance of wining. But, six on one. the utahs would IMO win 85% of the time.

I dont really think there is much of a "we" in the way you put it Carno, because there are obviously two parties in this discussion ;)

One Utahraptor vs One rex?

That's a mismatch in favor of the rex, allow me to elaborate.

On average, a tyrannosaurus rex would weigh in the ballpark of 7 tons, stand twelve feet tall, and measure 11.5 meters.

Utahraptor( not really enough individuals to get an average out of, but..) would be approxmately 6.5 meters long, weigh half a ton and stand 6 feet tall.

As we can see, Rex has the advantage in the weight, height, and length(which doesn't play really any factor at all). It can also exert 6 tons of force in its bite, making it so when/if it gets its jaws around the Utahraptor, we have one dead dromaeosaur on our hands.

Sure, it's lighter therefore making it more agile, and i'm not discounting the giant six inch claw on its foot, but it would need to get past the jaws of a Tyrannosaurus to even make an attempt at an attack.

No it really is not at all like that

And its neck wasnt even very long at that, so its basically like a fat guy trying to look at what is perfectly to the side of him without completely changing the direction his body is facing.

Granted, of course it can move it a decent amount, but definately not at a 90 degree angle to flank an attack from the side.

Intersting points, but I think the rex could manover his body and neck fairly well to counter the utah. I dont think it could easily destroy the rex as you make it sound like :3 Im with PX.

No prob Raptor, he definatley played a role in my childhood, Mrs. Doubtfire was probably my favorite.

Well by the way you communicate sometimes and word things, it makes me wonder PX, maybe you should learn to bring more than just a knife to a gun fight.

Trex is dumb compared to utaha, utah is smart, big, agille, atack precicion, and speed, trex advantages are brute force
