I'd say 55-45 for Carnotaurus.

while it may have a almost useless jaw design it has many other advantages over the Ceratosaurus.

first of all its heavier and stornger. And while it may not have useful jaws, it has different weapon, a robust skull with robust horns at the end. I feel that combined with the speed in strength of Carnotaurus, the horns would be more then enough to defeat Ceratosaurus the majority of the time.

Bit biased, but I would want Carnotaurus to win. The TLW novel version of Carnotaurus would have an advantage although obviously that is fictional.

Alright, Gonna have to go 55-45 in favor of C. Dentisulcatus.

8.8 meters is an internet invention, a myth. C. Dentisulcatus is based on teeth, and allometrically scaling from teeth is a terrible idea. But, if we absolutely had to, ~7.3 meters is the best estimate. A Ceratosaurus measuring 7.3 meters would weigh in the ballpark of 1200-1500 lbs, big for the species.

Now, even though carnotaurus had the height advantage its teeth are relatively small compared to the jaw. The jaws of this particular species aren't particularly strong either, say compared to the other abelisaurids;

While heavily built in the frontal view, it'sis relatively shallow and narrow from this view. Compared to that of Ceratosaurus(Nasicornis in this example) It looks absolutely tiny. Dentisulcatus, being the largest species, would have a skull that absolutely dwarfs it.

Thus, it would have the more powerfulbite between the two, though both aren't relatively impressive. Ceratosaurus also had the more useable arms - as those of Carnotaurus are vestigial and wouldn't be much use at all.

At parity sizes, i'd favor the Abelisaur but in this match-up, the Ceratosaur takes this.

It was a good game.

Anyway, as Paden said, I'd like to see a first person JP game.

I'm with Alphadino on this one.

The club would be for defence.

Its armour may have been tough as opposed to thick.

If you remember in the TLW novel, some of the animals were known already to be living, and were actively being hunted. I'll quote where Levine talks with Marty about that:

The Lost World

That's the official term for these specimens," Guitierrez said. "No one in the government is

willing to be more precise. It started about five years ago. A number of animals were discovered up in the mountains, near a remote agricultural station that was growing test varieties of soy beans."

"Soy beans," Levine repeated.

Guitierrez nodded. "Apparently these animals are attracted to beans, and certain grasses. The assumption is that they have a great need for the amino acid lysine in their diets. But nobody is really sure. Perhaps they just have a taste for certain crops - "

"Marty," Levine said. "I don't care if they have a taste for beer and pretzels. The only important question is: where did the animals come from?"

"Nobody knows," Guitierrez said.
Levine let that pass, for the moment. "What happened to those other animals?"
"They were all destroyed."

Yeah... Marty's dialogue would seem to indicate that it was Compys that were discovered but it could also be raptors that were discovered living there. The time of TLW is 1995, and JP was in 1989 in the novel universe. Implying that soon after the JP incident there was an effort to try and find the mainland dinosaurs.  However they might not all be gone. Remember the earlier quote I made of encephalitis moving up the coast as said by Marty? That was made in TLW era, implying the survival of at least some of the Sorna animals. Whether that is compys or raptors, I can't say.

Exactly, the Nublar raptors would thrive more, as you stated, they remained hidden, mostly due to the government hdiign it. DOesn't change the fact that they hid well. The Sorna raptors would most likely die out or just be exterminated, as you said.

In the end, the Nublar raptors would thrive, Sorna raptors, die out soon or just be a pack of wild unctrollable dogs.

as far as ive remembered its always been adult stars hosting the show. ty simpkins would break the mold if he were to be host. its usually the big stars at the time that usually host the kids choice awards and chris pratt has his name written all over it

Yes, it was convergent evolution.  The ancestral populations of the shunosaurs and its other sauropod relatives all looked the same, but due to migration and different allele frequencies, the shunosaurs became distinct and developed these features.

I always thought that maybe putting a second game in the evacuation of Sorna would be pretty good. Have the opportunity for people to itneract in something that goes from safe to a deathtrap in the course of a day.

Hmmm Pratt hosting the awards? Because otherwise it would be Ty Simpkins as the face of JP there I would imagine. Also, I was thinking of the Lost World for a trailer, and it would provide great exposure.

Telltale did a good job.

I'd personally like a First person JP Game within the next few years.

Telltale still has a License -I believe- to produce JP Games.

I think they're currently busy with TWD, So a New JP Telltale game might be  a while off.

I think that there was probably both Sorna and Nublar raptors living on the mainland, possibly dropped offi n different times. The Nublar raptors might be more organized due to their hunting structure and that they have a pack structure that is significantly more stable.

The Sorna raptors however I believe may have grown more voracious and disorganized the longer they were left alone from the base population that were initially released with the radio tags. The sorna raptors might be the ones that would get found out and exterminated quickly...but remember the Nublar Raptors managed to stay hidden in the Nublar Waterworks for a period of an year to two years. An area that should have been a vital part of the island yet they were smart enough to stay out of reach of people or detection. So the Nublar raptors would have an advantage.

I knew the big squid would win really.. Present day giant squids manage to fight sperm whales to the point where these giant whales have horrific scarring on them all over. The shark never stood a chance I think, especially not against an enemy that could outmanuever him on this level.

Super Bowl makes sense to me...wasn't one of the previous movie trailers for the other trilogy movies released during the Super Bowl? I wonder what kind of marketing they plan for the kids choice awards. Also, really wondering what they have planned for the Lego JP Video game. I will play that no matter what.

That is a very good observartion I didn't happen to notice now that you say it. The animals probably did get off the island, but the raptors may not be thriving, as their characteristic make them wild and unsuitable raptors, as stated in the book, they had no adults to teach them proper raptor behavior.
