I'm not trying to be biased, but if you do another Rex vs Spino, will Rex win? I think this one could also be counted as a draw. The bites from the Rex would become infected. The Spino did not go into the ocean to clean them. Just a minor detail. Not bad, decent enough.

I might be setting myself up here, but I could see J. J. Abrams directing for Turok Dinosaur Hunter. As there is really only one main character, they would have to expand upon that a little, add characters. I could see Brad Pitt starring as Turok, maybe Scarlett Johannsen as his girlfriend or sidekick. Then maybe have someone like Arnold Schwarzenegger as The Campaigner.

What Dino-Story would you like to see as a Summer Blockbuster @Dinosaur.Fanatic- People these days won't be that interested in another dinosaur action film - heck, there are even people hating on Jurassic Park IV. I have to admit I started this thread thinking.... Damn Im really interested in seeing a Dino action film that IS NOT JP.

Come on S-Rex, do you really think Spino had a good chance against a pissed off female Rex (possibly one of the most fearsome and powerful land animals of them all)? Part 2 was pretty good, and my two discussions could help for part 3 if there us one.

I agree. There's real potential in these kind of franchises to do really well at the box office. However, if these franchises you mentioned were to be exploited, the advertising/previews for movies or TV shows would have to [i]really[/i] draw audiences in. People these days won't be that interested in another dinosaur action film - heck, there are even people hating on Jurassic Park IV - unless there is GOOD advertising, like REALLY good. And like you said, director, cast, and crew is also huge. You want people with experience and motivation on board, and you need popular actors and actresses to back up your film. You don't have those, you don't have a film, and you don't make the big bucks.

The ending of FBR 2 would imply that is going to be a part 3. One of Spino's advantages would have been intimidation with the sail, but the sail is a disadvantage in actual combat. The ability to swim would help Spino against T-Rex because it would have somewhere to retreat to if it got hurt real bad.

I know that arms were shrinking. It was still a disadvantage. T-Rex was likely smart for a large carnivore, and it was built for combat.

You're right, it's sail would be it's biggest drawback and it's long arms and claws would be it's biggest weapons. It did have long jaws and sharp teeth, but these would be more effective against fish and small dinosaurs. Either way, I would not want to be bitten by a Spino. All in all, it's biggest advantage would be it's claws/arms. Besides that, not much. The usual predatory dinosaur stuff really.

That's a pretty good idea paden. Something tells me I should have a thing for T-Rex to.

Some Spino fans like to complain that T-Rex fans focus on the "only" thing that would give T-Rex a chance which is the bite force. Most Spino fans have the thought that because Spino was bigger, it was stronger (maybe true, but not enough fossil evidence). The other thing Spino fans like to focus on is the big meathooks Spino had. So stop complaining about T-Rex fans being biased and focusing on the "only" thing that would give T-Rex a chance if you are going to do the exact same thing. Spino may have had a good bite force, but it's teeth were to small to do any real damage to a Rex.. We have confirmed proof that T-Rex has a massive bite force capable if crushing bone. We also have proof T-Rex could take a bite from another Rex and survive, so a Spino's bite probably wouldn't to much to a Rex. The meat hooks Spino had were it's biggest advantage. dinofights does pose a good point, also with FBR 2 going up soon you'll be getting all the Spino vs Rex you can eat- uh i mean read- wait that doesn't sound right...

I appreciate your views. My size estimates may be a little different than most, but they are in the ball park. It all depends on who you ask really. Glad you guys like my top 10. It was hard to pick because there are so many, haha. PS- I understand your views as well Spinosaurus Rex. I get what you mean and I'm sorry if I came of a little biased. @Zman1970 Alas we do know these things, but this fight also wouldn't have happend to start off with, This is a fan fiction fight, everything up to the accident is taken into account, even some parts after the accident, also only in the book and game was nublar blown up *not nuked a nuke would've torn apart this island an probably would've killed off costa rica with nuclear fallout* Also there is many rumours kicking about about part 3, i cant tell you if it will or will not be done... were not sure... Any other concerns questions or comments?

Concern: This fits in with the story line in no way, how would you have a battle on the island if InGen Nuked the island, another thing! There were no Spinosauruses on Isla Nublar!

Hello guys, I think the movie at Haze would be interesting, but think about it! On the first film, the Dinos would die after a while, it would not be able to meet "lysine" without human intervention. So I think the JP4 can make a small passage on the island just for pure nostalgia, but the film even had to happen in a place unknown and well marked. A "Site C" would be the more interesting, imagine a place where scientists Ingen hid the experiments that did not work, genetically modified species. Now that's a rush for a new trilogy.

I originally planned to leave them out, but I don't think it would be fitting to leave out the major players of the Jurassic Park series in a series that takes place in the JP universe. I'm not sure how to stress my point that I don't know if they'll even meet. Perhaps T-Rex will get killed by a Stegosaurus and Spino will get killed by Triceratops. Perhaps it'll be Allosaurus vs Tyrannotitan in the finals. Perhaps it ends up as a fight between Argentinosaurus and Ankylosaurus. Perhaps.

I hope they do. I wanna see Spino win fair and square.

The original plan was to have Dilo win, but once I started typing the fight, things just went Deinonychus' way. I'm glad all of you are so hyped for season 2! I'm not sure who's going to win season 2 or 3 yet, but Spino and Rex are in there... Perhaps they'll cross paths, but then again maybe they won't. I have no idea.

I'm pretty sure DinoFights is leaving Spino and Rex out of season three......?
