Nothronychus
Good line-up. Still can't wait for Daspletosaurus vs Tarascosaurus. That was my suggestion, haha

In order.

Bahariasaurus ingens? Is that real, or made by Ingen? I know the dinosaur Bahariasaurus is real, but is the species ingens real? That is strange.

DinoFights, will you post a list of previous winners for Season 2 just as a refresher?
ReplyJason ChristiansenJurassic Park ForumJurassic Park 3D ReviewAug 2, 2013
I agree with "Gareth". i was not impressed. it looked more like a test for "3-D" with many problems. this is a great film that did not need the "3-D" treatment
ReplyJason ChristiansenJurassic Park ForumFavorite Jurassic Park Moive?Aug 2, 2013
the first one, still feel that "WOW" moment when I see the first dinosaur (not smart enough to try to spell it). it's those "moments" that make going to movies fun
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumThe Tyrannosaurs Rise to PowerAug 2, 2013
Yeah, basically. They were smarter than most of the other carnivores in the area too.
ReplyCarnotitanDinosaurs ForumThe Tyrannosaurs Rise to PowerAug 2, 2013
Pretty much. They rose like every other large carnivore did: adaptability. They adapted when the larger carnivores didnt.

Fights like this are tough to do. If anything goes face to face with a ceratopsian it's doomed unless it can disarm the rival quickly.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumIchthyovenator vs MedusaceratopsAug 2, 2013
Yeah, a few new species along with the WWD 3D Movie trailer on the home page.

Just finished looking at your site again. Quite a few new additions.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumChapter 9Aug 2, 2013
Yeah, the migration part is based more on speculation, but I think it's possible. Personally, I liked having the Deinosuchus in this chapter.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumIchthyovenator vs MedusaceratopsAug 2, 2013
Good fight. Basically the only predators that could take down a ceratopsian were probably their natural predators, the tyrannosaurs. And even they had trouble doing it. In honor of this fight, I added Ichthyovenator to my site.
ReplyRexKillerDinosaurs ForumIchthyovenator vs MedusaceratopsAug 2, 2013
Pretty much anything that fails an ambush on a ceratopsian is toast.
ReplyNo longer activeDinosaurs ForumIchthyovenator vs MedusaceratopsAug 2, 2013
Wow. As quick as that was, its probably how the fight would go down. Ceratopsians were deadly foes no matter what the rival, whether it be hadrosaurs, tyrannosaurs or spinosaurs.

It's amazing that Coelocanth have remained alive and virtually unchanged for over 400 million years. They were around hundreds of millions of years before the dinosaurs and have still survived 65 million years after their extinction. That always amazes me.

I wonder if the other Rex will play a part at all. It might, but it might not at all.
Thinking about it, I have an idea.

Nice job. Classic bonus fight. A tie. With the exception of Rex vs Acro, all the other ones were ties too. Well done.
I like the background info too. Sounds like Prehistoric Park married Jurassic Park and the baby was ugly, haha.
ReplyDinoFightsDinosaurs ForumTribute to the WinnersAug 1, 2013
Nice! I do think this was a good match up. Carnotaurus had speed and could snap its jaws shut faster, but Majungasaurus had a thicker skull and a deadlier bite. Wonderful job!

Delta
The dynamite would do some damage to a sauropod, but I doubt an UZI, or any SMG for that matter, would do much. You'd need a sniper rifle firing Full Metal Jacket round to penetrate deep enough to kill it.
That is all.

ReplyPhilosiraptorDinosaurs ForumDinoFights Season 2 Resumes: Yangchuanosaurus vs AlbertosaurusAug 1, 2013
Amazing! I'm not even sure where to begin... Um, okay....
First, I love the creativity of the InGen files! Especially Daspletosaurus, because it had the Tarbosaurus grouping thing, a mention of an InGen created Carcharodontosaurus subspecies, and a mention of how they didn't kill someone, but saved them. Really gives it personality.
Second, I like the way you expressed how much dinosaurs created by InGen miss their feathers when the Gallimimus lifted his arms like they were feathered.
Third, I like the JP3 style encounter the combatants had. Both chasing prey, they come face to face and fight!
Last but not least, the Rugops part. Brutal, but beautiful in a way. Just shows the role wily scavengers play in nature.
That's not everything I love about this, but its a bit. Love it!

Unless you were the smartest, fastest, biggest, or deadliest, odds are you were not going to survive. Heck, it's the same with every natural ecosystem. It's called Survival of the Fittest.
