Darn it. Not another bone destroyed. And I have Argentinosaurus at around 130 feet long and 100 tons, just to let you know.

Lost and dust. On the train ride to a museum they shattered into a kajillion pieces, being literally dust. I'm sure they were thrown away afterwards.

I think that pic's from when Quetzalcoatlus was thought to have a 65 foot wingspan but then it was revealed that its wings were much shorter. Still, height is accurate at 20-22 feet compared to a 12 m Rex being 16 feet.

Well at least there are bones for Alamosaurus. Those of Amphicoelias are lost.

Roughly 85-95 feet and 80-90 tons, it's still a tiny bit behind Argentinosaurus at 100-115 feet and 95 tons. Both were some of the biggest titanosaurs. And scaling from D. hollorum, Amphicoelias is actually BIGGER than thought, about 225-250 feet and 200 t in weight.

And what about the possibility of Amphicoelias being 170 feet long? Anything that long will be at least 100 tons or more, even if it does have a long neck and tail and it light.

I'm not getting into anything about Rex vs Alamo. We all know what I'd say ;) Now, many people say Brachiosaurus is the biggest dinosaur from N. America, but obviously it's not. That title goes to a dinosaur who's from a family who's name says it all, the Titanosaurs! Go Alamosaurus, next to Camarasaurus, it's my favorite sauropod.

Poor Quetzalequatlus, you weren't supposed to taunt T. rex, only Dromeaosaurus is allowed to do that.

DeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumAlamosaurus: A True Giant
Okay, if it is that big, then rex would be running away. Even a Giganotosaurus, who is designed to kill sauropods, would think twice about attacking a dinosaur that size. I'm just taking with MrHappy here, and agree with you, most dinosaurs are based off of the common finds, and not something that suggest humongity. That's a word.

It did have a wingspan of 36-40 ft. That Rex looks more Albertosaurus sized in my opinion.

Interesting. Either way, Rex isn't taking it often.

Any things possible DinoFights. I thought Quetzalcoatlus had a 40 foot wingspan, the Rex in that picture doesn't look too big compared to them. Maybe a kill Rex would leave, but a nest is a other story.

I have a younger sister, and she is the most annoying thing there a on this planet, (I'm the second most, and it my job.)

Of course I'd want Tyrannosaurus. I would like to see Ceratosaurus instead of Allosaurus. Some of the more poorly known abelisaurs like Tarascosaurus or Aucasaurus. A few other dinosaurs, but there's too many to list. Wow DinoFights. You named a lot of species, haha

That's a pretty good season DinoFights. I would have a pair Queztalcoatlus scare off a Nanotyrannus or pack of Dromeosaurus (it would be possible for them to scare off a Rex, but unlikely in my opinion).

That's fine. Siblings are annoying (I have 10 year old brother and 11 year old sister). My sister isn't too bad, but my brother constantly wants today video games.

Deltadromeus, Yangchuanosaurus, Oxalaia, Gorjirasaurus, tianyuraptor, Sinotyrannus. Those are the main animals, and there will be several others not important.

What DF said and I have a few more examples: Armadillos, Echidnas, Anteaters and Pangolins look very similar yet all live on different continents and evolved from different animals Bats and pterosaurs Pachycephalosaurs and abelisaurs both had thick heads and short skulls covered in bumps and knobs

Awesome fight, I'd give it an A-. Excellent writing and good files but Delta's right, the Neovenator was being a bit wimpy. Realism is boring, make them fight like there's no tomorrow!

I'd have to say Torvosaurus, Gigantosaurus, Utahraptor, Carcharodontosaurus, Spinosaurus, and of course, Tyrannosaurus Rex. Just for starters.

When a Giganotosaurus, or some Carcharadontosaur that is 50+ feet Lon and over 10 tons, is found, then everybody should, really know about it.

DinoFightsDinosaurs ForumNeovenator vs Styracosaurus
I'm surprised there isn't more Giganotosaurus art. Giganotosaurus was getting great publicity from the late 90's to 2000 as the dinosaur that was bigger than T. rex, the sauropod slayer, the speedy giant and many other titles but as soon as Jurassic Park 3 came out he got overshadowed by Spino and has been almost completely forgotten by the general public. Sad, really.

I only brought him up because he is always being used to learn more. There are other dinosaurs that could be just as useful, but they are very little known, and won't have much impact on the general public. I really want to see the Carcharadontosaur skull Spyrannosaurus brought up.

Hey, let's not drag Tyrannosaurus into this. He's my favorite after all(not because of the general public reasoning, scientific reasoning).

Just like howl they focus so much research on learning more another everyone's favorite dinosaur t rex. What about Sinosauropteryx, it has even better preserved fossils, and Sinornithosaurus, and Sinorthoides? They only focus on the well know dinosaurs. Hmp

The main one's would be(in order of episode appearance) Eoraptor/Herrerasaurus Cryolophosaurus Eustreptospondylus Ceratosaurus Australovenator Tarbosaurus/Velociraptor Tyrannosaurus rex *Plus minor dinosaurs and background dinosaurs and animals(including a few sea creatures and air-borne ones). You got a fair amount of them Delta, but not all ;)

Really?! I'm suprised. My turn to go and look.
Reply
DinoFightsDinosaurs ForumNeovenator vs Styracosaurus
Yeah, but it's overshadowed by Triceratops literally and figuratively. Paleoartists tend to focus on newer and more "interesting" ceratopsians like Torosaurus, Xenoceratops, Eotriceratops and others.
