I like the list but I disagree with quite a few things. Since when is abelisaurus longer than ekrinxinatosaurus? And torvosaurus was longer than neovenator. I would of put torvo right in front of A. Fragillis but thats just me.

Careful how you word things raptorexxx ;)
Decent estimates, although 25 tons is way too much for any bipedal animal.
Let's be a little careful with Tyrannosaurus X shall we. It's technically not a recognized species and I've never seen anything published about it. Just saying.

Good. Short, sweet, and to the point.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs Forum5 most dangerous prehistoric environmentsNov 2, 2013
Decent list. All 5 were very dangerous places. I think your sizes are a bit off(Sinotyrannus for example was at most 10 meters, not 11), but that does not have a whole lot to do with the list itself.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTop 50 Longest TheropodsNov 2, 2013
I disagree heavily with this list. And it's not just T-rex(although that is part of it).
Why is Ekrixinatosaurus only 9 meters when the fossils point to a size of 10-11 meters?
Since when is Megaraptor 11 meters long when it's fossil indicate a size of only 8 meters or so.
I've never seen an estimate for Sigilmassasaurus over 9 meters long, yet you have it as comparable to Carcharodontosaurus.
Deinocherius is estimated at about 9-11 meters long, yet you have it as up to 13 meters.
There are many other things that I could say, but that would take too long.

Very cool allosaurus ! I really like it
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs Forum5 most dangerous prehistoric environmentsNov 2, 2013
Nice, but is say Patagonia is the most dangerous place, and Africa is the second.

Nice thread. Great idea for a post. If there were pics, it would be more interesting ;)

-Epic facepalm!- sorry guys and mostly Gigadino. I don't know how I could reed biggest. then my previous post is not anymore valid. Ok, then I agree with something, only some weights seem wrong to me. But, finally sorry, haha

I like it. Its a really cool allosaurus.

Dinosteve, this is a length list, not weight or size.

Thanks. You've seen it many times because it's the profile pic of Al
ReplyDynamosaurus Imperiosus/ Raptorexxx 700Dinosaurs ForumDeltaFights SemiFinals: Certosaurus vs SinotyrannusNov 2, 2013
sinotyrannus is a very underestimated dinosaur i mean it is a 10 m long killing machine with the jaws of a tyrannosaur and the arms of an allosaur and is easily one of my favorite dinosaur+ it also reminds of the slashers from terra nova hhh :)
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumTop 50 Longest TheropodsNov 2, 2013
Interesting list, and interesting choice in picture for Rex. So that's what T-Rex mating looks like.
Some underestimates, some overestimates. Number 1 was as expected, I'm surprised Rex barely made the top 10.
Replytyrant963Dinosaurs ForumDeltaFights SemiFinals: Certosaurus vs SinotyrannusNov 2, 2013
Rooting for Ceratosaurus but Sinotyrannus won. Plus it is epic the Sinotyrannus must have fought real hard.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumNew drawing - Al the AllosaurusNov 2, 2013
That's fine with the double post.
I've seen this picture many a time on the status board, it is pretty cool.
ReplyDynamosaurus Imperiosus/ Raptorexxx 700Dinosaurs ForumTop 50 Longest TheropodsNov 2, 2013
if it is the longest then why isn't trex 12.6 m based on mor 008 and carcharodontosaurus estimates are way too high it should be more 12.4 m based on the paul sereno speciemen so is mapusaurus which should be 13.1 m not 13.6 m but i agree with your deinocheirus and giganotosaurus estimates.

ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumTop 50 Longest TheropodsNov 2, 2013
I don't exactly agree with you, but hey, its your list! Also, I'm glad you agree with me on Yangchuanosaurus being bigger than A. fragillis in weight and maybe a foot.

Man, how much I'm waiting to read new world ;)
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumAl the Albertosaurus Part 1Nov 2, 2013
Looking at New World briefly, the second last chapter (the one with the fight), is longer. I'll make some more edits to it later.
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs ForumAl the Albertosaurus Part 1Nov 2, 2013
Cool. Last chapters seem to be always the longest.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumAl the Albertosaurus Part 1Nov 2, 2013
Thanks. The last chapter is the longest as per usual.
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs ForumAl the Albertosaurus Part 1Nov 2, 2013
Interesting. Can't wait to read the rest of the story, no matter if it's short
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs Forumaccurate therapod size estimationsNov 2, 2013
I like this estimations. Good job. 25 tons would be huge for any bipedal land carnivore though, so 14 to 17 tons is good.
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs Forumaccurate therapod size estimationsNov 2, 2013
Don't get me wrong, I like your estimations, haha :)
ReplyDynamosaurus Imperiosus/ Raptorexxx 700Dinosaurs Forumaccurate therapod size estimationsNov 2, 2013
ok ur right dino i just wanted to get my point clear hhhh :) ;)
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs Forumaccurate therapod size estimationsNov 2, 2013
Wow, 25t for a 16m T-rex or Giga is exagerated, haha. The max. a 17m Rex would get is 14-17t!
ReplyDynamosaurus Imperiosus/ Raptorexxx 700Dinosaurs Forumaccurate therapod size estimationsNov 2, 2013
yes dinosteve you are right they are very light built but not like deltadromeus or bahariasaurus for example, plus an 17 m long tyrannosaur or giganotosaur would 25 tons +!!!!! so 12 tons for spinosaurus is not that big of a stretch
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs Forumaccurate therapod size estimationsNov 2, 2013
I still believe Spino couldn't get more than 8-9 tons. The rest 45% of its life would be spent out of the water. Don't forget that spinosaurids were light-built, if you take or not their leg thickness.
ReplyDynamosaurus Imperiosus/ Raptorexxx 700Dinosaurs Forumaccurate therapod size estimationsNov 2, 2013
well dinosteve at first i thought so too but based on the thickness of baryonyx's and suchomimus's legs it would be around 12.8 tons especially because it lived 55% of it's life underwater
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs Forumaccurate therapod size estimationsNov 2, 2013
Hmmm... I agree, I think only the Spino's a little too heavy.
Nice comparison BTW
