Good chapter, great cliffhanger. Don't kill Vega! I can see Star saving him last second, but I could see Vega's death fueling Star at the same time. I'm sure it'll be fine whatever happens next.

I'm always looking foward to these fights and I think you should release both fights tomorrow. Sad the Troodon lost.

It's sad but true, Theres just too much... um... Crap going around when a new ones started. Its just easier to tiptoe around the topic as much as possible

Wow! What a cliffhanger chapter... and Vega!!! Noooooo!!!!

I hope you don't kill him. You don't have to kill him!!!

BTw, the title's great, and I already said, the suspense is very well done.

Absolutely amazing job with this one! ;)

GodzillasaurusDinosaurs ForumCarcharodontosaurus-Spinosaurus relationship
Oh yea, Makaveli7, carcharodontosaurus was horribly adapted, actually, for "manipulating" prey with its jaws. Allosaurs were not designed to do so, as their jaws and teeth alike were very vulnerable to lateral stress and were instead used quickly in forceful downward motions or backward pulling. Spinosaurus was much better adapted for this, as its jaws were more robustly-constructed and its teeth were designed for gripping and yet were still thick and spike-like in shape. Unlike carcharodontosaurus, spinosaurus' morphology heavily indicates strong reliance on gripping in predation, so there is not reason to believe that carcharodontosaurus had a more powerfully-built snout, because that is demonstrably wrong.

GodzillasaurusDinosaurs ForumT-rex is actually larger and heavier than both Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontos
@giganotosaurus and KingRex, actually, tyrannosaurus had quite blunt dentition actually. The main advantage that it had over giganotosaurus was its obvious advantage in build. Giganotosaurus had teeth that were perfectly designed for ripping and tearing, whereas the teeth are merely complimentary for tyrannosaurus. Giganotosaurus lacked in powerful and heavily-built jaws but possessed very deadly dentition that would have been very useful in creating blood loss, ripping out important tissue and musculature, and causing damage to the spinal cord in the event of a hatchet-bite. Tyrannosaurus is basically the direct opposite; while its jaws and overall build were very strong, its teeth were much blunter and thicker than those of giganotosaurus. They were perfectly designed for causing deep skeletal damage as opposed to tissue and flesh damage.

GodzillasaurusDinosaurs ForumCarcharodontosaurus-Spinosaurus relationship
@Rexfan, spinosaurus would have most definitely used its jaws in combat. In fact, more-so than its forearms. As I have explained before, spinosaurus had a very robustly-built jaw and tooth structure alike. That and the fact that its teeth were perfectly designed for puncturing deeply (they were, fundamentally, designed for gripping) implies that spine-related damage is a definite way that spinosaurus would kill an opponent. Carcharodontosaurus, on the other hand, was most likely restricted to quick killing techniques, as its very lightly-built jaw and tooth structure tells us that it would have killed with quick vertical downward strikes. Its jaws could be easily damaged in a head-on confrontation, unlike spinosaurus which was more well adapted for resisting lateral forces and gripping.

GodzillasaurusDinosaurs ForumT.Rex vs. Gigantosaurus
@T-rex90, giganotosaurus was actually much more gracile in build than spinosaurus. Its skull was much less robust and its teeth were quite thin as opposed to thick and spike-like. It was designed for killing vertically (as it had a very deep rostrum), but not being adapted for gripping necessarily (unlike spinosaurus). Whereas spinosaurus had a much denser and more specialized snout to be able to effectively grip large fish and yet withstand the pressures brought upon by them.

I was talking about the allosaurus as indicated by the OP, however.

Yes, but Allosaurus is Allosaurus. That's my point.

Those skeletons were likely amplexus (epanterias), not fragillis

It didn't start out that way, but kinda turned into one. I know you had good intentions, but some of the greatest mistakes in history were made with the best intentions. Spino vs Rex is dead and that's that.

PS- I don't know if you noticed, but the comments that were being made recently were far from fun/friendly.

Yeah, Epanteris is usually considered the same animal as Allosaurus.

Some skeletons of Allosaurus do indicate sizes of 36 ft, but the most common ones are 28 ft long.

People are still going to talk about it... That is what makes these forums fun... And if you think that my spinosaurus thread is a "Spino vs T-Rex" thread, then you are wrong.

Allosaurus would have been much smaller than that, more like 24-30 feet. Epanterias rapes allosaurus, as it was so much bigger. And, you do realize that the two animals have practically the same morphology, right? Both are very gracile in build, both have thin and serrated dentition, and both have relatively long forearms and hooked claws. There really is no difference here aside from size. In fact, epanterias is actually Allosaurus Amplexus

DinoSteve93Jurassic World ForumSo I found this Interesting fact about Jurassic Park...

Honestly, I don't want to think what JP could have been with other actors, mainly because all JP actors have made their job perfectly.

Much more with Sam Neill, that acted as Grant. He was perfect. So I like keeping on him.

How bout if this topic is ever brought up again( I don't care who brings it up) we just ignore it? I don't want another war taking place because I KNOW it won't end well.

This is my last word on the matter

But i didnt go to that extent. Pictures never even crossed my mind, and if they did, i never would have done it, partially because i never even post pictures, lol, but i never want to express things through picture because they are too harsh. Perhaps now is a good time to change my profile pic...

Sorry S-Rex. Hones toy, I would have let it slide, and the I read the "Stating the obvious" and the "Childhood hero" remarks, and as if that wasn't enough, the "Title it doesn't deserve" remark REALLY ticked me off. So I'm sorry for that.

Like I said, I can be nice. But when you get me ticked off, it's gonna be a while till I cool down(and even then you'll probably wanna watch what you say around me).
