Well yesterday someone on instagram posted a picture of the zoo in Hawaii, they said the elephants were being moved for a pteranodon landing scene (I also read that the scene took up the zebra and giraffe enclosures as well).

That last picture was taken yesterday, these next two were taken today.

Most teens are happy to drive their parent's cars when they get their license. Usually a Honda, Nissan, Toyota or some other crappy import. The guys here though, we want a Jeep or a truck or something along those lines.

Those are 33" tires on my Jeep. They are barely level with with the floor (about two inches above it), and there is at least six inches between the tires and the top of the wheel wells, just to give an idea on the size of the lift.

Maybe there's a dino skeleton in it. I don't know, it still looks too much like a zoo to me to be JW. Plus, the banner says nothing. I say its a fake, and a good one too.

I wish you the best of luck with that...

My grandmother has a jeep, that I may be allowed to buy off her...

I've seen some of the 92s, at lowest sell for 11,000... It's cheap, I may have it done by the release of the film... I'd have to put my other project on hold first though...

Maybe it's for a petting zoo or they have robotic dinosaurs there. You know, for the wimps who can't handle the real deal.

You are correct Paden. Might not though because it might not be possible to get the thing insured because of the lift kit its got.

If I don't get the thing insured, we might get a 92 Wrangler Sahara and paint that up and have an exact replica. I'm hoping for the best though hopefully getting this one on the road.

Well, I'd imagine, this is just a decoration, near a paddock to use up space...

Would you keep a dinosaur in something like that@?

Happy to hear that you're back Carnosaur.  Can't wait for your projects to come forth and be marveled at.

How about this for a bonus fight?  Triceratops vs Ankylosaurus?

Okay, first, im taking this with a gallon if salt, as it doesn't look like a dinosaur park, just a zoo. Notice the small enclosure. Wood, small paths. If this is JW, then I'm disappointed. Even the Compsagnathus should be in a better exhibit than this!! This doesn't look "Jurassic parky" enough for me to believe it.

(If I remember correctly, Its assumed by fans that a Spino was on nublar, but the rex got out once, and killled it... Thus, why such a "Beautiful" Creature, was not on Nublar *And y'know, the fact that it would be a kind of pain in the ass to care for, Too clever, Too dangerous..* )

Cool fight. I like how you used bloodloss as the killing feature, and outside reasons for the fight.

DeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumReal Bite Force of The Tyrannosaurus Rex

Okay, I don't really know my newton-pound, but when I looked it up, (for everyone else who can't convert in thier head) the highest 57,000 newtons is around 12800 lbs of force. Or around 6.4 tons. I'm not suprised by this. Nor am I suprised by the fact that Megalodon has a max bite of around 38400 lbs or 19.2 tons. It makes sense for a shark that size. I know that the supercrocs like Sarcosuchus and Deinosuchus have massive 10+ tons of bite force with some estimates for another croc (can't remember which one, and the statistics where from DinoFights) that had a bite up to the Megalodon's 20 tons of force. Interesting little research. It would be schooler if they used it on smaller dinosaurs too.

x_paden_xJurassic World NewsOriginal Jurassic Park Jeep Spotted Heading for Jurassic World?

The new one is most likely a bulked up safari Vehicle, (Which you'd expect from a dinosaur park)

The original jeep, Serial Number 29, was the one that originally tansported Hammond and Gennaro in the beggining of the movie, Past the Brachiasaurus...

I'd imagine after they finished with 29 (in film cannon) they probably took it to the garage... Hence the good condition of sitting there for twenty years... But, It has rust, Which shouldn't be there, so Someone tried to escape the island (presumed staff?) With 29...

If colin did his research, This could be interesting

It looks a little thin to be the cardboard backing on the usual JP boxes (From 09)

I liked the metal background, But, this could work, I'd need to see a full scale box however...

(Looks like you beat me to the Merchandise news.)

Good Chapter, and the Rex on Nublar had less trouble than the Spino on Sorna.

Good fight. I was Rooting for Z-Tyrannus, but hoping both would survive.

We already knew most of this, but UCMP is correct. With its maximum force, the King would have the highest bite force of all time.

Raptor, not everything that says Tyrannosaurus was strong is going to start a fanboy war, especially consdidering that Spino wasn't even mentioned.

UCMP 118742Dinosaurs ForumReal Bite Force of The Tyrannosaurus Rex

The newest study regarding it's bite force was done in 2008 (I think) by Mason B. Meers (again, I'm not so sure) and he calculated a bite force of 180.000-235.000N. Most people don't think that it wouldn't represent an average but rather a maximum, with the average being at roughly ten tons (100.000N).
