Sci-Fi King25Jurassic World Forum**VERY MINOR SPOILERS** Isla Sorna in JW: Fallen Kingdom?

Perhaps they didn’t move Nublar’s dinosaurs because Sorna could potentially erupt if Nublar did? Or they’re saving Sorna for JW3?

I like most of those, but the sick Triceratops and long grass scenes are also good.

The biggest problem is the story, which is supported by its stupid characters. I'd say fix those before swapping out any of the dinosaurs.

I only saw the first three and actually like JP2 the best of those. I agree that JP1 was the bomb for its time and a classic though- nothing quite like it was out at the time.

Vic Hoskins Jr. was in a helicopter with Ingen soldiers flying near the destroyed Isla Nublar. Hoskins looked out the window as he saw Mount Sibo from the viewing. “That’s where we’re headed?” asked one of the soldiers

“No, I just wanted to past by the island” said Hoskins

“Where are we headed then boss?” said one of the soldiers as he looked back at Hoskins

“A island that Masrani Global took all the dinosaurs off of, I imagined finding the Spinosaurus skeleton, but that dinosaur died on Nublar so we are going to Isla Sorna” said Hoskins.

The pilot flew the helicopter towards Isla Sorna. The helicopter landed as men got out with guns.

“Are there any dinosaurs on the island?” said one of the soldiers.

“I just told you that Masrani Global took the dinosaurs off the island and transported them to Isla Nublar.

The group approached the abandoned research center. Hoskins opened up the doors as the soldiers went in shining their flashlights. Hoskins said,” Over here”. The group transported a box as they started putting in unused embryos. Hoskins walked around the center as he saw footprints. Hoskins walked around as he saw a door. Hoskins opened the doors as he looked around. Hoskins went further into the room. Upon him was a embryo that they left behind. Hoskins smiled as he said,” They told lies that you were eaten by your sister.”

“Get this thing loaded quickly” said Hoskins as he got on the phone.

“Contact Henry Wu, tell him that I have a job for him!” said Hoskins as he hung the phone up and got in the helicopter. The helicopter flew off towards Hawaii as Barry got in contact with Owen to let him know about the situation.

GavinDinosaurs ForumSpinosaurus aegyptiacus : bipedal or quadrupedal ?

Looking at both fossil photographs in the OP it looks to me that the second, smaller fossil may be that of a juvenile, especially when you look at the difference in grandeur of the sail and the skull. IMO, this may suggest that young Spino's are primarily quadrupeds but as they mature they shift to a more upright posture becoming both quadrupedal and bipedal as adults, much like many Parasaurs.

^The original assumption of S.aegyptiacus was that it had a full, semi-circular sail and it walked on two legs. New fossils show that the sail dipped down in the middle and its legs were shorter.

I personally don't know if it was Bipedal or not.

But I do have one question, why are both of my skeletons drastically different? They have to be different species of Spinosaur or something like that.

Alphadino65Jurassic World Forum**VERY MINOR SPOILERS** Isla Sorna in JW: Fallen Kingdom?

@Gavin, Trevorrow stated that the Indoraptor will be the last hybrid featured in the franchise.  No hybrids for JW3.

GavinJurassic World Forum**VERY MINOR SPOILERS** Isla Sorna in JW: Fallen Kingdom?

The eruption seen in the trailers occurs on Isla Nublar, effectively wiping most of the Dinosaurs on the island except for the 11 species they manage to rescue.

This along with the needless retconning that Isla Sorna's Dinosaurs all died out, now means that any Dinosaurs that survive Fallen Kingdom are the only Dinosaurs left alive, which doesn't exactly bode well for the future and expansion of the franchise; that and the writers need to create a super-Dinosaur for each instalment - will JW3 have an Indo-Spinosaur?

Alphadino65Jurassic World Forum**VERY MINOR SPOILERS** Isla Sorna in JW: Fallen Kingdom?

Keep in mind that I haven't seen the movie yet, so I have no idea if they mention Sorna as a safe place to relocate the dinosaurs.

I'm sure the eruption is so powerful that it would make the 5 Deaths inadequate for the dinosaurs.

Any fan of Operation Genesis, will love this too.  New content, harder/longer progression, new interactions. I've waited a long time for this.

GavinJurassic World Forum**VERY MINOR SPOILERS** Isla Sorna in JW: Fallen Kingdom?

So the answer to the OP's question is needless retconning then?

Wasn't it explained in Lost World: Jurassic Park (both film and novel) that Isla Sorna was where InGen created the dinosaurs before moving them to the park resort on Isla Nublar, and wasn't it shown in said movie/novel that Sorna was declared a natural preserve for the Dinosaurs.

Considering the small number of Dinosaurs that survive in the new movie (seen in trailer, thus not a spoiler) is retconning Sorna out of functionality really a good idea?

I Meme EverythingJurassic World Forum**VERY MINOR SPOILERS** Isla Sorna in JW: Fallen Kingdom?

Yeah, the JP Wikia says that Spinosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Ceratosaurus, and Corythosaurus caused a large drop in dinosaur populations. The survivors were transferred to Nublar, implying that this drop happened before the Nublar incident of '15.

The Jurassic BootlegJurassic World Forum**VERY MINOR SPOILERS** Isla Sorna in JW: Fallen Kingdom?

I'm days late but I still wanted to explain it anyway so yeah, Ok so apparently illegally bred Dinosaurs(Spino, Cera, Anky, and other species that I couldn't remember) somehow screwed up Sorna's ecosystem which resulted in dinosaurs dying out. So Ingen rescued the ones that survived and moved them to Isla Nublar for future attractions( I like to interpret that they were put in the restricted area which explains why we didn't see the new dinosaurs like Carno, Allo, etc in JW).
