Great, I was rooting for Ceratosaurus.
While Spinosaurus isn't very high on my list of favorite dinosaurs, I don't have anything against it. When I say that, I don't have anything against the real animal. The JP 3 animal though, that's different.

I didn't choose Rex because I think it would win more often (I do though, but that's just me), I chose it because I grew up with it being the biggest, baddest, toughest predator to ever live.

Well, provided a Garand wouldn't take a trike with only eight shots, I wouldn't dare do it to start. The Carnotaurus however, would take a few shots, but it could be done. Given the situation, common sense doesn't apply, so here we go.
When the Carno tries to bite me, barrel stuff him and start shooting. Once it's dead, the will to survive should cause the other one to eat the dead Carno. If it doesn't shoot it's head with the remaining rounds.
Nice job as usual, but I was rooting for Albertosaurus.
I would try to blind them first with the flashlight. That would give me a little advantage.
Then, with some luck, I will aim with the rifle for the head and eyes. I should use all the ammo if I need. Killling one would definitely discourage the other to try and kill such a dangerous prey.
The knife should be my last resource, only I didn't aim well enough, or if the survivor is desperate. Still at this point I'm probably screwed. I have just one try to stab the predator in the head.

Great fight as always. I have to say... I wasn't really rooting for any of them :P
Considering it was not on the leaked map, it is unlikely.
But then again, there could be certain dinosaurs not featured in the tourist attractions but still kept behind the scenes (like the D-Rex?).
I would love for Spino to return but I won't get my hopes up.

But compared to most other people on these forums, I chose my "favourite" purely based on the unscientific opinion of "oh my God, Spinosaurus just looks so awesome!" rather than carefully thought through analysis which predator would ACTUALLY be able to snap whose neck. Heh.
I love the Rex almost as much though. Almost. I mean, who couldn't love that giant beast with those adorable little arms.

Have to say if Rex got hold of Spinos neck as in film 3..... Good by Spino. Sorry guys. The fight was dumb.
Great list. A lot of these new found predators are featured on the excellent series Planet Dinosaur. BTW everyone, the giant aquatic predators are reptiles, not dinos.... As is Quetzalcoatlus is too...
Id like to see a realistic Spino. The one in 3 was a freak and totally un natural. I hated the fight scene, really dumb and unvelievable. No blood, no bite marks, just silly. Why would the Trex leave a huge meal to chase a couple of humans anyway?
LOL... That is a big plot hole.... However the biggest plot hole (in all three films) is that there are fully grown adult dino's every where. This would mean that the Scientists would have needed to clone them around 1960 as a fully grown Large dinosaur would take that long to Mature.

Okay, so, There is 4 Writers in one Challange.
They are all against eachother, They each have a dinosaur of their own choosing.
They need to write one of the best Survial stories of that One dinosaur within an Hour. (That they can). For each night, a Different Situation will happen.
These stories are Typically short.
You must write it within an Hour. And Submit within 20 minutes after the Challange ends.
The Top two winners from the Two Pools will face off against eachother the next night.
The writer with the Most First places, Will receieve a really nice Electronic Banner for their Scified Forum Signature.

I'll try enter...sounds a bit confusing...well for my age it does...I'll ask my mum...she is good with this stuff...but sounds interesting...like it...
Nothing I wasn't already aware of. Personally, I think that the very first dinosaurs (triassic to mid-jurassic) were cold blooded, and that the last ones (cretaceous onward) were warm-blooded. Everything in the middle however, could end up being whatever.
As Paden said though the only way to truly know is to bring them back through whatever means.
I hope not...Like I have said before I like Spino more than Rex (although I still love Rex don't get me wrong) but I face the truth and facts, if he were to fight the T-Rex he probably loose...I want to protect him and not,let him be in the Movie...maybe in a cage or exhibition...but nothing to major
Should've left it in. They left a big, sloppy plothole right in the ending of their story and just sort of ruined the ending for me. I honestly think that if they left it in, Lost World would have been my favorite movie. Feel free to quote me on that.
