Wait, so Utah was closer to half a ton? Six Utah vs one Rex is a suicide mission for Utah. Sorry to say, but R.I.P. Utahraptor pack. 

Its just a differance of opinions here guys ;) And whoever brought Spino into this, dont bother thinking youll get an answer, that was a very stupid question to ask and can get you reported, you could have chose any other dinosaur to compare, but what you chose to compare was Spino.

Ive seen a good number of sites that put Utah at around a ton or a little bit bigger.

Well. Seeing as you guys didn't answer my question why should i answer yours!

Utahraptor may win one v one but it would be something like 90/10 in favor of the rex.

Same goes for spino, they're just too big for one dromeaosaur - as big as utahraptor is - to manage. Droms aren't very adept at killing things substaintially bigger then them in a one v once scenario

I just think one Utah could kill Rex, that's all. Not a fight going on, just a debate.

Utahraptor weighed 1,100 pounds. 6 would weigh in the ballpark of 6,600 lbs, or 3.56 tons.

Where does utahraptor weighing excess of one ton come from?

Also why did you bring spino up HPP?

And im not going to because if i do, then that would be violating forum rules. You know why? Because my different opinions on who would win would be different than what you would say, which ultimately leads to you asking me why do i think Spino would win instead of Rex, which is techniquely a Rex vs Spino.

Well, seeing that this has over 55 comments when I started, I ain't reading them then saying my piece, so here we go. 

With six Utahraptors, you have six tons give or take of Raptor. They would be agile, the attack would be coordinated, and they are viscious little buggers. 

With Rex, you've got a 7-9 ton killing machine. It isn't going down without a fight. It's got muscle and a nasty bite. 

Now, would six Utahraptors be able to do it? I don't see why not. Is it likely? Not as much as you'd think. You see, with six targets, Rex is going to be able to hit one or two. That may be enough. You see, one in six is something like 17.5%. I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't want to lose 17.5% of anything.

If it takes out two, that brings it up to 35%. With two dead Utahraptors, depending on just how desperate the Utahraptor pack is, they may continue to attack. If they back off and the Rex doesn't eat the two dead ones, they'll come back for those. If the pack continues the attack, it's most likely a matter of time before Rex succumbs to the wounds. 

Just the same, if the pack is desperate, they may get reckless. That would work against them. If they weren't desperate, they wouldn't be attacking a T-freaking-Rex. 

In the end, I'd say about 50/50 for them, given the terrain and situation. That's just my two cents though. 

Dont hate but utah would crush spino

The question at hand is if Rex could handle six raptors, or vice versa. Let's keep it at that for the time being.
