TLW was pretty good actually. Not as good as the original, but it was good. JP3 however, saying it sucked, would be an offence to movies that sucked, because it was that bad.

I thought of the same thing. Besides, I did get a glimpse of the other bits of leaked footage, and there was plenty there they didn't show here.

Now, granted, the leaked footage could have been for an early scrapped teaser or for a future, Main trailer. Or, we could actually in fact be getting a second trailer this Thursday, which would be great!

My only doubt about this matter, is the fact that much of the footage in the leaked tailer bits was extremely rough. Ton's of unfinished CGI shots. But, fret not, we may get another. 

Overall, I must say, I'm very impressed with what I saw here.

Quite simple actually. The T-Rex is the icon of the series. Jurassic Park without T-Rex is like Jaws without a Great White; it's stupid, pointless, and a waste of time. In the first two movies, Rex was an animal. It was acting on instinct, and it was reacting to new situations. It stumbled upon the people, saw them as a food source, and attacked accordingly. JP3, Spino was hunting the people. It targeted them because, well, who knows. 

Holy crab look at the size of the mosassaurus

and the river adventure, they actually have a river adventure this time.

Anyway I don't really like the tamed raptor idea, but still can't wait for the movie :D

I loved The Lost World. Don't see why people considered it a let down. I think Jurassic World will be a great movie.

Well, pretty sure that's what they gonna have. Why would you get pissed if a raptor/t-rex hyrbrid killed T-rex? Why would you be dissapointed or get upset? That's the real question in my opinion.

Yes 401, kill the T-Rex quickly near the beginning of the movie. Because, you know, that worked soooooo well, so well, the first time. 

Sarcasm aside, I think Rex will take on the D-Rex. At the end most likely, with the King emerging victorious, because you can't beat an original and because Rex needs redemption after the atrocity that was JP3. 

Very true. At a Philadelphia zoo, a tiger was killed when it made its way into the grizzly's pen. It snapped the cat's neck with a swipe of the paw.

I think the T-Rex will fight the D-Rex early one in the movie. The D-Rex would win a quick battle, basically to show D-Rex being more powerful. The raptors would sort of injure the D-Rex but I think they will be killed. But that's just what I think will happen.

Not true, and the xeno would take the hits and keep going then leap onto the back and subdue the bear. 

However, the swingable arms are powerful enough to gore and snap bones, easily taking care of the cat.

But, the xeno is quicker and more agile and could deal incredible damage to the bear. The xeno would be able to take ot of hits and give them back.

However the Short faced bear stil has too large of a size advantage for the cat.

Xenosmilus was a very robust beast and could, just like the bear could use his forearms in combat. Xeno is often called the world's most terrifying cookie cutter since it had short thick, sharp teeth and short, thick sabers with large serrations on the sides. It had a very powerful bite and was more then a match for most other animals in its weight range. 

Again, TRAINED, not tamed.

I am expecting a quality film, not cheese. And I think that's what we'll get. But I agree on both the rex and raptor parts. It will be amazing to see them take on the D. Rex and T. rex finishing the job.

However, Arctodus has amarginal size advantage. 10 feet high, rearing up on back legs and weighing in at nearly a ton. Arctodus has claws up to 3 inches in length, easily able to shred the big cat. Also, it has a shorter, deeper face, giving it a more powerful bite.

I dont think the t rex is trained. Possibly under experiment ! But not trained.

it would be good to see the rex being the hero again. Finishing off what the raptors couldnt do. A little bit of me tho cant wait to see the pack leaping up and clawing and biting at the D rex ! To see an actual hunt! See them running and jumping and being "well animals" ! 

Im glad we havmt seen rex, we know he is there. i think the spino skeleton is outside trex land or what ever its called , so thats is asking to be smashed down. Expext some cheese! 

But in all this film will take jp to a diff level. The bar is now ridicylulously high.

Xenosmilus was a very powerful saber tooth cat. There are two groups of saber tooths, scimitar and dirk tooth. Scimitar tooth cats have serrated cainines with long front legs for running at high speeds. Dirk tooth have long skinny cainines and short, thick front legs built for power. But xenosmilus was a different one, it was both of these combined. Xeno has short, thick legs and short thick cainines. So in a way it had the best if both worlds.

Let's go back to book one. Wu talks to Hammond in his Bungalow and mentions the idea to create tame dinosaurs (by genetically manipulating them), which are more easy to handle.

Considering Wu is back in action I could imagine he went through with his idea, at least with the Raptors. We already know from the whole story, that on the one hand playing with mother nature won't work, but people will continue doing it on the other hand (why would they build a new park after all of those experiences?!), Chris Pratt will be surrounded by some supposedly tame Raptors, who remembered there true nature

I don't think it'll be trained, I think they will maneuver the two into close proximity in hopes of the Rex killing the D. Rex. And we won't know if it lacks in fight scenes until the movie premiers.

I doubt the Rex would have been Trained like the raptors to fight D-rex.

The Rex might take on some Visitors and such, Maybe a little battle with D-rex...

It's hard to tell at the moment.

I'd like to see a fight scene between the two, As the film kinda lacks in those...

There is a line between "taming" and "training". A dog or cat is "tame" and a lion or tiger is trained. Taming is defined as "(of an animal) not dangerous or frightened of people, one that can be kept in everyday life without harm to other animals or people."

Trained is "To teach or condition an animal a particular skill, type of behavior, or mindset, through practice and instruction over periods of time."

Take it from someone who is an assistant keeper at a zoo, these raptors are trained, not tamed.

The imprinting thing with birds is powerful for the young years of its life, but starts to wear off and weaken as the animal grows older. So that would not be very reliable in Jurassic World.
