Great LeonopteryxJurassic World ForumRole of the Mosasaur?

with that size

I wouldn't be surprised if mosasaurus would be the main monster antagonist in the movie

Not sure if you saw this before, but I think that "unidentified ornithomimid" might be Elaphrosaurus. I see an E in the beginning of that, plus Elaphrosaurus is the right shape to fit that sillouhette.

Silver_FalconJurassic World ForumRole of the Mosasaur?

To quote myself:

"What I want to see is a final battle between the T. rex and D. rex. they can fight through that disney-world-esque area we saw in the trailer with it all culminating in a ultimate showdown near the Mosasaur's pool. Chris Pratt can be in the stand trying to tranq the D. rex. He shoots it multiple times before, exhausted, the Diabolus gets rammed by the rex into the water just as the Mosasaur strikes."

Other than this (assuming it happens) and the feeding show, I don't think the Mosasaur will get much more, if any, screen time.

Thank you, also your quiz is bugged, if you choose the large and very strong choices then choose the salad choice you will always get giganotasurus.

Sorry.., I'll make sure to add a lot of Dilophosaurs and Abelisaurs, if that makes you feel any better...

(First, welcome to Scified!)

I believe the Mosasaur will play a small role in the film, as it'll probably get little screentime after the feeding clip.

Its harder than it sounds adding a theropod. Though I will admit I went overkill with the Tyrannosaurs in there. I put Nanuqsaurus in there. FREAKING NANUQSAURUS OUT OF ALL THE OTHER THEROPODS!

That "Unidentifed Ornithomimid" appears to start with a "C". Possible candidates are Compsognathus and Coelophysis. Though it appears to end with a "Saurus", so it might be Camptosaurus.

T. rex, Velociraptor, snake, and cuttlefish DNA

What did they use to create the D-Rex again?

Maybe... looks shorter than that though, hence why I said Allosaurus.

Yeah, that makes more sense than Abelisaurus.

Sorry JPCerato, but I'm going to have to burst your bubble there... That one's name starts with an A, not a C.

Nice find, hyped for Spino!

Also there are two raptors...1 is the usual Velociraptor, 2 is amybe Utahraptor, deinonychus, Troodon? And the unidentified theropod in between the anky and barynox is a carnotaurus I think...

@Allotitan, it was pretty common in late triassic/ early jurassic theropods...however it isn't a trait seen in theropods of later ages

The one below and to the right of Gallimimus appears to be Lesothosaurus...

The one two to the left of that may be Elaphrosaurus...

very carcharodontosaurid in appearance...interesting..also looks like the lego model, snippet from the trailer(color-wise & phalange-wise) & supposed concept art...i'd venture out to say this is legit.

Just wondering one thing. Didn't ceratosaurus have 4 claws? If so, what if the D-rex is part ceratosaurus? Food for thought.

Reply
Lord of the SpinosaursJurassic World ForumJW Species List

Also the one to the left of Pteradon IS Nipponosaurus.

Reply
Silver_FalconJurassic World ForumD-Rex leaked photo

Why does it have four claws? Why Trevorrow why? It doesn't make any sense! Either two, or three, not four! If you really wanted more than standard, at least do five. That way you can at least claim genetics favors addition...

You can also definitely confirm one of them as dilophosaurus

I noticed three

1. Therizinosaurus? left

2.deinonychus

3. Acrocanthosaurus

this is what I think they are except that one is defiantly deinonychus!

I found out one. See the one above mosasaurus to the left? That is Microceratus

Reply
Lord of the SpinosaursJurassic World ForumJW Species List

BTW one of theose unidentified Ornithomimosaurs might Coelophysis because that is one of the most well-known Triassic Dinosaurs and it looks like a Ornithomimosaur, though it isn't.

Reply
Silver_FalconJurassic World ForumJW Species List

Your unidentified between Metriacanthosaurus and Parasaurolophus is Microceratus, not a theropod.

The last one is NOT Edmontosaurus, Edmontosaurus is the one by Gallimimus.

The one between Baryonyx and Apatosaurus appears to be Allosaurus, though I'm not sure.
