I disagree with everything! Repectfully. All the other comments i agree with.

Now what would u like ? Same old shit as before? Trapped on an island till they are rescued the end. Its been done and colin has taken this a different direction.

We have trained NOT TAIMED! Lions, tigers killer whales in zoos today. How is that any differnt ! Jesus a week ago in thailand i rubbed a 250kg tiger on its belly like its my dog. One swipe id be dead! They can hunt catch and kill and understand commands! Hell i want a raptor , infact im surprised it took this long to surface. Get my drift, have faith.

Mark my words when pratt goes hunting in the dark with that pack of raptors its going to be the most epic, greatest scene in jurassic park history! Gives me thr chills thinking about it.

Oh and in regards to the cheesy lines! So what , how is that any differrnt to "clever girl"

@Jpcerato

Very true.

There was a recent Deal between GI Joe and JP (Kenner) For the new movie, You see in the Allosaurus figure, That character, That is a GI Joe, Tooled for the JP Franchise. It was intended that all of these Higher end sets, (Some being a human and dino pairing, Others being just a human and vehicle or whatever, They jsut ahve to be paired) Were to be released with Jurassic GI Joes.

Now, Kenner was purchased by Hasbro (I believe, Correct me if i'm wrong) Thus they're allowed to pair the two together.

But, They will still release some of the older, less movable Action figures, (Repaints from Jurassic park 3) with JW Packaging.

Theres also more GI joe/Jurassic park (Presumably with Owen and Claire?) Sets to go along with the release.

With the authenticity of the baryonx, Sadly, It appears to be, Fake. *You're ruling is correct in everyway* It's identical to the Allosaurus in Build, Design, and Details. (The skin pebbling, and crests above the eyes).

It appears to just be a Modified version of Allosaurus with the head raised higher, and some photoshop changing of colours. It's VERY Poor-- A standard that is unacceptable by Hasbro. Hasbro wouldn't release a slightly edited version of the allosaurus, As it'd get a lot of judgement and lack of sales perhaps. (A lot of adults buy these Figurines, Which, Is the main base behind a lot of kids programs and toys.)

The logo on the right Theigh, Would be something that would make sense, As that appears to be the Park Crest... However, the Iconic Blended JP Could only ever be Replaced by a JW Logo, Of the similar Idea (With the left side of the W blending into the J).

The Rocket launcher is from one of the JP3 Repaints (Alan grant I believe), The action figure is a mash up of other toys, But does share a resembalance to Owen. However, It appears the the Feet or the Knees bend-- Something none of the Kenner toys could do (Except for the dinosaurs)

It's a tad, Just a tad, early to be seeing these aswell... Wouldn't you say? Their supposed to start the First wave in the spring of next year, Followed closley or accompanied by a Heavy marketting campaign.

Reply
x_paden_xJurassic World NewsFirst look at Kellogg's Jurassic World themed snacks!

Not as cool as the First Jp's marketting with Kellog, Nor TLW's marketting with kellog either.

But I suppose since it's a might more difficult to create these temporary brands for a cinema release, Plus, the fact that the number of people eating breakfast has gone down, Could also explain why we don't see any of the Cereals or something cooler for the films release.

It could also be just the first wave of advertising is smaller in terms of food brands.

I thought yay! Nice find The dino (sucho or bary?) Is neat...but that human...Owen...is hideous!

I don't think its real though, look at this, photoshopped I think...

Look at posture...claws...tail...texure and Owen looks like a bundle of cheap toys mixed together...maybe he is the D-Rex!!!

The man is also out of scale...

Either way nice find! You are a great source like SR said ;) I can't wait for more pics, love the  dino but just not the human...

Also this was not supposed to be my 300 post but my special will just have too be 301 :D

Nice! ;)

I think it's probably Baryonx because of the crocodilian jaws and the giant thumb claws.

NOAH ECKECKENRODE - Wow! What a very compelling find! You are becoming an extremely resourceful detective! Hmm. That toy looks fairly convincing; though I am uncertain as to what type of dinosaur that is with Owen. It appears too large to be a velociraptor. How very neat! Thank you ever so much for taking the time to share this with us! :)

I thought the trailer was pretty good (the music was beautiful), and there's almost no doubt that the raptors will turn on their trainers at some point.

Interesting topic, and I agree with Paden on this.

Regarding that rifle, after scouring the Internet for about thirty seconds, and remembering some cool firearms I've seen, I've come to the conclusion that the rifle is most likely a Marlin 1895G "Guide Gun" chambered in 45-70 Government.

What is a 45-70 Government? The bullet dimeter is .45". It is capable of sending a 325 grain projectile at about 1900 FPS (factory spec for Hornaday 325 grain FTX rounds is 2050 FPS, but factory spec is used from a test barrel, not actual firearm and tend to be optimistic). What's that mean though? That simply means you've got a 325 grain, .45" chunk of lead flying towards your target almost double the speed of sound. When it hits, depending on the target, it's going to keep going. How powerful is it? It'll drop a one ton bison. Paden, I'd say that that's a bit more than just a Gallimimus.

A 45-70 Govt, in a nutshell, would take small to medium sized dinosaurs. I'd be hesitant, but I'd be willing to try and take down an Allosaurus with one. Using a solid point bullet (it's still a hollowpoint, it'll expand), a good headshot would probably down a four ton animal with one shot. You'd have to be a good shot (Owen, being ex-military, would be a good shot), and the scope would help accuracy.

Also, if you're wondering how a scope would be mounted on a lever action, as most lever action rifles eject from the top, right where the scope would be, the 1895G is different. Refer to the image. As you can see, the ejection port is on the side of the rifle, above the loading port.

What makes the 1895G an ideal rifle for Owen's purposes, is that it's compact. It weighs 7 pounds (maybe 7.5 with that scope), and with an 18.5" barrel, it's maneuverable. The rifle, being short and light, makes it easy to swing from target to target. A long, heavy rifle is harder to swing around (trust me, my .308 weighs 9 pounds and has a 24" barrel including the muzzlebrake, and I can swing it 90 degrees in about one second, vs my 16 gauge, which weighs maybe five pounds and has an 18.5" barrel, which I can swing 90 degrees in about half a second).

The Marlin 1895G is an ideal gun for what Owen is using it for because it's compact, powerful, and a follow up shot can be ready real quick (having used lever actions, I'd say someone experienced can have a follow up shot ready to be fired in maybe 3/4 of a second).

JHAWKINS1987 - You have presented some very interesting notions! Hmm...I suspect the film is going to be approximately two hours in length as the story, as you have aptly pointed out, will likely have to compensate for a great deal of back information while juggling various sub-plots! Thank you for raising this very interesting series of questions! :)

INDIANA JONES - I can certainly understand your concerns based on what we have all seen in the trailer. However, please allow me to make an attempt at decreasing your level of displeasure.

Concerning the CGI in the trailer, I believe (and this is simply my opinion and not based on any form of factual data) that the studio and director wanted to go ahead and present something to the world that would generate excitement. Jurassic World has been plagued by multiple leaks since it was announced; perhaps the studio simply wanted to exhibit a trailer before another leak took place?

On the topic of the mosasaurus feeding show, I definately see what you are getting at. Dsiplaying an animal devouring another creature we individuals believe to be extremely dangerous does seem to be a way of stating "Hey! This animal is one tough bloody customer! It eats white pointers as a snack!". With that being said, I happen to believe that mosasaurs likely ate sharks and other animals larger than white pointers during the time of their dominion over the oceans. Therefore, there is (once again, in my opinion) nothing out of the ordinary for the mosasaur in the trailer to be eating that large shark - it probably comes naturally to it.

With regards to the velociraptors, from what we have been told by multiple sources, Owen is not their friend and they are certainly not "tame". These carnivores will kill and devour him the first chance they get if they detect any form of weakness in him.

I certainly hope this has helped to at least provide you with another viewpoint with regards to the trailer. Regardless, I respect your opinions and greatly appreciate you having taken the time to present them to us. :)

Also, a leaked Lego set is labelled "Raptor Rampage" so it is safe to presume these trained raptors turn on their captors. It is hard to believe they would totally eliminate such a prominent antagonistic species. I think we should all give this movie a chance before one judges it so harshly. It's your opinion but I'm just saying.

I agree with Primal King here, the tralier worked very well and clearly for anyone who has the patience to think about it, the CGI is no where near finished and I find it hard to think that they could wait any longer seeing as many fans were complainimg as to how long it took for the trailer itself to be released in the first place, sorry but I have to disagree with many of your points.

I disagree on EVERY single point made. I could spend time pointing out every little detail why the trailer worked so well and continued on with the series, but that seems like a waste of time. Loved the trailer.

I think this movie really has a lot of problems, but what you said about the d-rex, jurassic park, jurassic world, and all the differant points of views kind of mark something. I am not really looking forward to this movie, but at the same time its like THE jurassic park film, if that makes scince. It goes deeper into jurassic park. The part i'm looking forward to is the old park.

GigadinoDinosaurs ForumTop 10 Longest Teeth

I know it's old, but Spinosaurus' teeth, wich are greatly underestimated in this list, are longer than T.rex's, wich are overestimated in this list. Spinosaurus' teeth are the longest among Theropods. We know an incomplete Spinosaurus tooth wich is already 23 cm long, a complete one would likely exceed 30 cm, exceeding 'Sue''s longest tooth (30.5 cm).
