FERNANDOSAURUS REX - I could not agree more with your above statement! The revisions to Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus, in my opinion, serve to make that animal far more fantastic! I happen to think Spinosaurus can now be likened to a great water dragon - a true lord over the regions within which it dwelled! :)

Raptor-401Dinosaurs ForumOFF TOPIC- scified pets?

I've been looking for a chance to tell you all the interesting timeline of my familys' pets...

Well, once we had 8 fish that literally ate each other with the last one dying due to bad nutrition, then we had 2 birds, a male and a female which always fought to the point where we found that the male bird literally ate the female bird's head (It was a mess, we came back and the female's head was gone,w ith red stuff... Then the male looked as creepy as ever) So we gave the male bird away...

Then we got a dog named Bonbon (Spanish for Masrmelloww since he's all white and a very rare species since he's a lion-type pekingnese) and to this day he lives one, he's getting very old though. :/

About several years back we got a bird named Bacardi and it was very annoying... It was a bird meant to live in tropical weather and when we used to live in Phoenix the weather was always bipolar... 115 degrees in the afternoon, then 30 degress in the morning... (Fahrenheit)

So one day my mom put him in the garage where it was VERY cold, TOO cold for this bird, so she put blankets all over the cage and the next day the poor thing froze and suffocated to death...

So yeah, pets have much good fortune in my family!

Let's see...

1 cat (Really fat and lazy; doesn't hate anyone)

1 Leopard Gecko (chubby; also just stays in one area for most of the day before moving to the next)

1 fish (Columbian Blue and Red tetra; the rest of the fish died)

It's not too off topic- some people have reptiles and birds. Dinosaurs are kind of birds and reptiles.

x_paden_xJurassic World ForumWILL JURASSIC WORLD EXPLAIN WHY RAPTORS HAVE SO MANY VARIATIONS?

I've heard a Ton of different rumors...

Ranging from there being Different Packs all over the island with different Variations, To a Genetic Hiccup.

While, The multiple packs is Plausible, It's extremely unlikely.

However, Adaption to the Enviroment is most likely a cause. With an Aid of Genetic mutation, It makes even more sense.

I don't feel inclined to write more about how this works, But, It's just one of the theories.

I know, it's just the way he worded the topic, and I know most new members do come here to talk about it. Well, I was just saying what I got from it.

Like Happy said, going to that topic is one of the worst ideas in the history of bad ideas.

Fernando, just because someone says something about Spino possibly having a better shot against Rex, doesn't make it a JP3 Spino Fanboyism topic. New people who are unfamiliar with our past join and post a topic and accidently say something that someone who's been around longer wouldn't say. It happens. Best we can do is inform them that it's a bad idea.

@Mr.Happy9097, I also love snakes. Constrictors are my personal favorite.

First, it's believed by some fans that the Jurassic Park Velociraptor is divided up into two species:

V. Antirrhopus Nublarensis (JP, TLW)

V. Antirrhopus Sornaensis (JPIII)

As you mentioned, snakes and cats have many different varieties, but I'm going to use another example-

These are three different varieties of one species, the Leopard Gecko. These varieties can naturally occur, or selective breeding can create more varieties. Jurassic World explains that we've learned more about genetics in the last decade that in a century of digging up bones. It's possible that these V. A. N. morphs are naturally occuring (as a couple green ones were seen in the trailer), or they were bred to specifically have these colors.

Potato quality is Potato.

I believe, This is the one Owen named "Blue" Due to it's blue streaking. (He has a total of like five raptors, But Blue is the only one who's name stuck with me... I think one might be ben.... Ben? Yeah, Probably... This is more confusing then the Pac men ghost... What kinda ghost name is Clyde?)

No problem.

Good job, was rooting for Rex. Doesn't matter to me that the King showed up late, he would have dominated in this battle anyway.

yeah, well that would be cool if not for...EVOLUTION TAKES PLACE OVER AN ECXTREEMLY LONG PERIOD OF TIME, not 22 years!

And about snakes, lets just say i have had some bad ecxperiances with snakes, ok?

I think Das and Yutyrannus should swap weights.

Looking forward to the fight, rooting for Rex, but would be happy with Yutyrannus or Albertosaurus winning.

I love Spinosaurus, one of my favorite (Even tough I am on team Raptor) but I have to agree with Mr. Happy and DinoSteve as well.

You didn't really present sources or any citations and this just seems like some sort of random claim. Don't want to start anything, especially as a moderator, but this seems to be more of JP 3 fanboyism topic, if you know what I mean. The new Spinosaurus doesn't necesarily make it a 'wimp', in some ways one could argue it makes it more cool and majestic.

Anyway, I do like parts of the old one better, and some parts of the new one better, but in the end we shall never truly know. As I read recently in a book, Scientific theories can never be truly proven; they can only be disproven, if they can be.

I'd have to go with Troodon- a small, nocturnal, intelligent animal that hunts small creatures.

DINOBOY22 - Hahaha! What a fun topic! Hmm...I would have to say that my vote for the most "honey-badger-like" dinosaur is Carnotaurus! Something about that animal just screams "I do what I want, how I want, when I want - so get over it"! Thank you so much for asking such an enjoyable question! :)

x_paden_xJurassic Park Games ForumPrehistoric Kingdom Receives Site Updates

Thank's for actually, Well, Backing your answer.

Your Evidence is substainal.

I have personally not heard anything bad about the game. Based on the evidence, It seems like they've tried to right themselves. While, Stealing is bad, And it's a bit of a cruel move to just alter something slightly to make it ones own, but it is technically fair game. (Still plagerism... But.)

If I do recall, The game (Or it's supposed to) Allow you to choose the skin sets of the Dinosaurs... So, A wide variety would be needed.

The lack of Release is also troubling. As, We've moved from Fall to winter, And are nearing spring. But, This is more of a hobby project, So... it kinda makes sense for the Excrutiatingly delayed release.

But I'd Prefer to let the work speak for itself. When The Tech demo rolls around (Eventually) I guess I'll just observe the content. It's very likely that if there is stolen content, it will likely be found within the few release days.

But, I will take your Info into Consideration @ Jello when observing future advances of this game (If it does make any), Thanks.

NOAH ECKECKENRODE - What a very compelling theory! I can certainly believe that the creators of the site would be interested in ramping up the excitment for Jurassic World's release by steadily presenting small batches of dinosaurs each month! Thank you for once again utilizing your resourcefulness to bring us interesting news! :)

SPINOREXYFANBOY1000 - Greetings, and welcome to SCIFIED! I greatly enjoy both revisions you have presented; they each have their merits with regards to the manner in which Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus lived its life. I believe the new physiology is representative of an apex predator designed to take full advantage of its environment through incredible specialization! I definately enjoy this iteration of Spinosaurus the most! :)

I say Allosaurus personally. Don't know why, just where it lived, when it lived, and what it hunted.
