It seems like NanoT may have gotten bigger than originally thought. Based on this specimen, perhaps as big as 25 ft or so. Similar in size to Albertosaurus.

Thanks! I will be posting these hopefully about two or three times a week. If you guys want, I'll post chapter one for dinosaur day tomorrow. I wasn't planning on starting to post regularly yet because the story isn't finished, but if you guys don't mind waiting longer for chapter two, I'll go ahead and post tomorrow.

I'll be reading. Not only is it about a herbivore, but the main villain is a raptor. Normally, a story about a late Cretaceous herbivore in N. America would have a tyrannosaur as it's nemesis. Nice change up.

Delta, there were two in the book, a juvenile and an adult(Rexy). The only Rex in the movie was Rexy. No other Rex was seen or mentioned. I don't think Ornitholestes will be in the movie. When I think terrifying predators for Jurassic Park, I think Velociraptors, Tyrannosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Troodon, etc. Ornitholestes just doesn't seem to fit the bill. It's not large. It's not smart. It's just not Jurassic Park material in my opinion.

It was just a thought. I like the idea of re-cloning the old beast. I figured it would be unlikely, but just a thought. I kinda needed to post something today, getting a little impatient with chapter 14 today, can't wait for tomorrow.

I would love for Rexy to be in it. She's like the symbol of Jurassic Park. Is it likely, probably not. But I hope she's in it. Who knows, she may have survived the napalm bombing(aka my Rexy vs Lady Margaret FBR Fight).

Thanks. I (as with everyone else) knew the outcome of Cerato vs Yang, but Das vs Styraco was undecided until I was almost done writing it.

Endings I expected. I was rooting for Cerato and Das. One out of two isn't too bad I guess ;)

Rexy was already likely very old at the time of JP. I'm guessing at least 30, since she was 46 feet long, and that would make her the biggest Tyrannosaurus ever to live. Add another 20 years to that and she's at least 50, presumably nearing 60. She would likely be blind and wrinkled, not to mention unrealistically huge. Giant monsters aren't terrifying unless they can hunt you down.... Actually, that gives me an idea! They could use that to put an emphasis on how amazing Tyrannosaurus' sense of smell was! Im saying there's about a 20% chance of it happening. Not impossible, but not likely.

I'm trying to picture dinosaurs shake hands. It was a good chapter, albeit short.

Maybe Ornitholestes could appear.... I think it could be pulled off if they used the arboreal theory to make it somewhat like a leopard.

Whoa, whoa, whoa!!!!! Dinosaur overload!!! You should keep it more simple; this nearly made me convulse into spasms. Rex, troodon, Spino! You wrote a short chapter. Not saying this is bad, but save the dinosaur overload for longer chapters if any. And work on the grammar!!!! (And as MrHappy said, I don't think dinosaurs would shake hands...)

I disagree with you Delta - lots of people think that Jurassic World will introduce a less known dinosaur to the franchise. Maybe not as the terrifying new dinosaur, but it could still be in the movie. Who knows at this point?

MrHappy, there where two rexes. Three in the book. And , ornitholesties is neither scary nor can be movieatized.

Maybe they might re-clone Rexy but nublar was bombed with Rexy on it.also if the movie had a modern times look,then Rexy would probably be grandma Rexy

I doubt it. I don't think it's very well known, and Troodon or Carno would be scarier. I don't really mind whatever dinosaur is the new scary one, so long as Rex comes back as king. Seeing as to how it's Nublar again, and seeing as to there was only one Rex on Nublar in the first, I'm hoping the Queen of Kings, Rexy, returns.

I like the end, and I really like this story in general . Day of the Dinosaur will be eventful , and the last chapter will be a real highlight.

I really liked it. I thought for sure Ceratosaurus would lose, since it was smaller, but I guess not. The results were acceptable and the fight itself was great. However, all of that is second to my biggest question.... WHERE DID YOU FIND THAT FIRST CERATOSAURUS PICTURE! Siamotyrannus vs Megaraptor was good too and I agree with the results. I'm betting stalemate in the next, though Mega may have the advantage. It has more weapons, weaponry is bigger, can be moved around more, it has a deadlier bite and outweighs Utah. However, Utah's giant dromaeosaur may gain the advantage with intelligence, better senses, speed, agility and its jumping ability.
