Official B-Roll for Jurassic World: Dominion has been released!

The footage teases some new plot points, action scenes, and character interactions (no major spoilers, thankfully). It also shows off some of the animatronic creatures used in the film, such as Beta, "Leonard" the Lystrosaurus and a brief glimpse at a Dimetrodon. Check it out.

No problem.

Did you catch the brief glimpse of the Dimetrodon animatronic at 1:33?

I'm really excited to see the full Dimetrodon scene, I've been wanting to see them in a Jurassic movie for a while. They've been featured in the toy lines and video games since the first movie's release, so it's about time they finally show up in a movie.

I'm also wondering if the Dimetrodons living in the mines is a potential reference to the Lost World PS1 game, as they were originally meant to appear as enemies in the Hunter levels that took place in the mines. It might be a bit of a stretch, but they've been referencing the older video games a lot during the marketing, they even used sound effects from the PS1 game (specifically ones from the Hunter levels) in the new DinoTracker viral marketing videos.

Honestly until recently ive been out of touch with the franchise and paleontology in general, but with the new trailer and movie coming soon, my interest has definitely been reinvigorated.
