New (Feathered) Jurassic World Dinosaur Revealed!

MemberBrachiosaurusJun-09-2021 4:44 PMWith the recent announcement of a 5 minute preview of Jurassic World: Dominion being released in front of the new Fast And Furious movie came an image of what appears to be an official screenshot of the film. The screenshot features an unexpected new species of dinosaur that has a full coating of proto-feathers. Director Colin Trevorrow has officially identified the species as "Moros Intrepidus", a small feathered relative of the mighty Tyrannosaurus.

With the confirmation of this species as well as the all but confirmed Pyroraptor, anyone who doubted the introduction of feathered dinosaurs in the series can doubt no more!

MemberBrachiosaurusJun-09-2021 4:55 PMThe massive jaw that it's standing next to could be the Giganotosaurus (though it seems a little oversized). Interestingly it looks like the Moros is possibly picking bugs out of the creature's teeth similar to plover birds.
*EDIT* Colin has officially confirmed that the jaw IS the Giganotosaurus!

MemberBrachiosaurusJun-09-2021 5:00 PMAlso, the skull shape and fuzz under it's chin has a strong resemblance to the dinosaur head stand-in seen in the leaked set photos from Malta, which was thought to be Deinonychus, but now I'm starting to wonder if it was actually a stand-in for this...
*EDIT* Never mind, the Malta stand in WAS Deinonychus...
