Dawn rose over Isla Nublar, a world ruled by dinosaurs. However, one particular being was missing from the picture; Tyrance, the Tyrant Lord. The Ultimate Lord, Ultimus Dominum, had met his much-needed end at the jaws of the Lord of the Dinosaurs, but Tyrance, along with his mate Tyria, vanished soon after, and hadn't been seen since. The generally-accepted theory was that they had since passed on due to old age.
In his absence, other theropods had taken Tyrance's place. It turned out that Giganoctus had survived the fight against Ultimus Dominum, and he resided in one of Isla Nublar's southern forests. He awoke as the sun rose in the sky. The giant stood to his feet, stretching his muscles.
A smaller predator also prowled this territory; Destructo, the Carnotaurus. He was relatively new compared to the other theropods on Nublar, and he was ten feet tall and thirty feet long. Destructo hunted the smaller animals like Pachycephalosaurus, but also ate the scraps left behind by Giganoctus and the next beast to be introduced.
But this area was also shared by a pack of four Mapusaurus. There were two subordinates, who were thirty-five feet long and fifteen feet tall. But the alpha-female, Gaia, measured flat-out at forty feet long and sixteen feet tall. Her mate, Earth, was tied in both length and height with her.
To the northeast of Earth's territory were the second deadliest carnivores on the island; Carcharodontosaurus saharicus. This was a mated pair of two alphas. The male, Mako, opened his eyes. The sun reflected off of his pink skin, accented with black patches. He stood above the ground at a height of seventeen feet, and measured forty-seven feet in length. His mate, Sahara, had purple skin accented with orange, and was a tad bit smaller at sixteen feet tall and forty-six feet long. They ruled a forest that led to a swamp at its western tip.
And in this swamp were four of the largest carnivores. There were Fang and Venus. Fang was the longest, measuring a staggering fifty-seven feet long, and standing eighteen feet tall at the hips, although his height was twenty-seven feet at his sail. Venus was fifty feet long and fifteen feet tall, but her height, including the sail, was twenty-four feet tall. The two dominated the western half of this swamp, while their parents ruled the eastern side. Egypt, the Spined Pharaoh and the father of Fang, stood at the same height as his son, but was slightly shorter in length, measuring fifty-five feet. His mate, Blossom, was fifty-two feet long and sixteen feet tall at the hips, but twenty-five at the sail.
Finally, we come to the area that stretched from the north end to the centre of the island, which was home to the current rulers of Nublar. There were four Dakotaraptors living in the shadows of this territory. The pack consisted of Eagle, Falcon, Hawk, and Claw. Eagle was seven feet tall and fifteen feet long. Falcon and Hawk were both six feet tall and fourteen feet long, and Claw was eight feet tall and sixteen feet long.
This was a land of Tyrannosaurs. There was also a Yutyrannus named Feather living in the area. She was thirty-two feet long and ten feet tall, and covered in a coating of downy feathers.
Other Tyrannosaurs lived here, such as a Lythronax named Gore. At thirty feet long and nine feet tall, he was one of the larger predators.
The second largest species was a family of five Daspletosaurus. The father, named Dread, was thirty-six feet long and fourteen feet tall. His mate, Menace, was thirty-five feet long and thirteen feet tall. Their children were all thirty-one feet long and ten feet tall.
Also living in this area were four Albertosaurus, a family consisting of two children, Alborax and Cocoa, and their parents, Alba and Albus. Cocoa, the smallest, was eight feet tall and twenty-seven feet long, while her brother was the same height and thirty feet long. Alba was ten feet tall and thirty-three feet in length, while Albus was twelve feet tall and thirty-five feet in length.
The four lived alongside the deadliest killers on Isla Nublar; a quartet of Tyrannosaurus rex. First was Hurricane, who was forty-seven feet long and seventeen feet tall. His sister Earthquake was eighteen feet tall and measured fifty feet in length. Her coat was brown with some white patches. And the current reigning ruler, was Thunderstorm, who was twenty feet tall and fifty-five feet long. He was jet-black, with an electric-blue stripe running from his head to his tail. Earthquake's son, Blitz, was fifty-two feet in length and eighteen feet tall, the same size as Tyrance. He looked like Thunderstorm, but had hues of reddish-brown. The eight Tyrannosaurs lived and hunted as one unit, because Hurricane's egg had been found by Albus and Alba, and it ressembled the egg of an Albertosaurus. Hurricane was raised by the two, and since he was the brother of Earthquake and Thunderstorm, they also lived with the pack.
From atop the summit of Isla Nublar's tallest mountain, a mysterious theropod stood. He looked down upon the island, before heading down the slope, vanishing into the treeline.
But in the shadows, a savage beast prowled. A jet-black body that stood in an upright posture, supported by two muscular legs, having two four-fingered arms tipped with footlong claws, and a skull with malicious purple eyes and devil-esque horns. He stood a colossal twenty-five feet tall in an upright stance, and twenty in a theropod stance. His body, from nose to tail, was a whopping sixty-five feet long. It turns out that Ultimus Dominum had laid an egg in his den, and had given rise to the Demonic Lord, Diabolus Dominum. But this time, there is no Tyrant Lord to stop him.
Part 2: The Death of the Spined Pharaoh
Diabolus stomped around, picking up a scent that reminded him of himself. He shifted his body, and, standing in a horizontal theropod-stance, sprinted towards his target. The impact of his feet, which supported a fifteen-tonne body, sent small pebbles flying into the air, scaring away smaller dinosaurs. He continued his mad dash, coming to a screeching halt.
What he saw took his breath away - a battlefield, littered with prints, that had not been touched in a year. Prints, of both bodies and feet, covered the ground. He sniffed the marks, being able to identify the combatants of this battle - four Spinosaurus, four Dakotaraptors, four Mapusaurus, a Giganotosaurus, and two T.rex siblings. But the two most prominent scents were those of a demon, and those of two mated alpha-Tyrannosaurus rex. Dominum peered into the ravine, and he found only three scents; the demon, and two especially strong smells - those of an alpha-Spinosaurus and an alpha-Tyrannosaurus rex. Due to the familiarity of the demon's scent, he concluded that he was related to this monster--and so must avenge him. Looking into the slope, he saw the tip of a bone protuding, and walked over.
Using his massive claws, he dug out the structure with relative ease, gasping upon what he uncovered; a skull, shaped like his own. The rest of the skeleton was scattered across, blackened with burns. This was none other than the Ultimate Lord, Ultimus Dominum. The skull was still connected to the spinal cord, which Diabolus dug out. The bones had twelve-inch bite-marks driving deep into the spine, which he knew would have resulted in a broken neck. Dominum took a whiff of the air, remembering the other scents within this area; one of which, he could tell was very near. Ultimus appeared in his head, like a spirit, cooing to his son. Diabolus's insticts told him only one thing - to avenge his father.

In the northwest area of the island, Hurricane, Thunderstorm, and Earthquake nudged Blitz awake. It was time for Blitz to hunt and make his first kill. Lurking in the underbrush, they stalked a lone Alamosaurus. Blitz charged at the sauropod, who immediately bellowed and ran, attempting to escape the predator. The young rex sank his teeth into the Alamo's tail, releasing blood as the large herbivore roared in pain. Suddenly, Hurricane jumped out of the bushes and clamped onto the Alamo's hip, tearing off a five-hundred pound piece of flesh. Swallowing it, he and his nephew continued the chase as the sauropod slowed from a run to a staggering limp.
Out of the treeline burst Earthquake, who sank her knife-like teeth into the fore-leg of the large animal, releasing a moan of pain. The Alamosaurus reered up on her hind legs, lifting a nine-tonne Tyrannosaur with her. She smashed Earthquake into a tree, uprooting it as she let go, crashing to the ground. Blitz nipped at the animals flanks, tearing out pieces of meat, before narrowly dodging a lash from the titan's tail. He and Hurricane circled the sauropod, who remained on her hind legs as Earthquake recovered, standing to her feet.
The Alamo's back was to a cliff, on top of which stood Thunderstorm. He bit down on the neck of the Alamosaurus with a bite-force of 25,000 pounds of pressure. Thunderstorm snapped the sauropod's neck with ease, and the dead animal collapsed, shaking the ground under her mass. Standing atop the beast's flank, Thunderstorm sank his teeth into the soft underbelly of the animal, then yanked his head back, ripping away a five-hundred pound piece of flesh. His pack-mates ate as they were joined by the four Albertosaurus. When they were done, Blitz rested next to his mother. She cooed to her son, telling him how proud she was of him.

Elsewhere in the territory, Gore was also hunting. He stumbled across a lone Diabloceratops, and charged, catching it off-guard. He clamped onto the Ceratopsid's neck, snapping it easily. Biting into the flesh of the animal, he heard a rustling in the bushes and looked up. Feather, the female Yutyrannus, approached him, snarling viciously. Gore bellowed back, issuing a challenge for the meal.
As they circled each other, Gore lashed out with his teeth, biting onto Feather's upper jaw, thrashing wildly. Blood squirted from her skull as she hissed in pain, before using the advantage of her longer arms to slash at his torso. Gore released his grip, but his jaws found their way to Feather's neck, staining her feathers with blood. He shook her like a rag doll, and she hissed in submission, leaving the area. Gore then resumed his feast.

Less than a mile away from the ravine, two alpha-Spinosaurus rested. These were Egypt and Blossom, the rulers of the northeast swamps of Isla Nublar. They were laying next to a river, when without warning, they felt the ground shaking. Egypt looked at the water, in which ripples formed, moving outwards towards the banks. He gasped in horror, as he sensed another being beneath the waves--Diabolus Dominum.
The Demonic Lord launched out of the water, biting down on Egypt's jaw, in the same spot where he had been bitten by Titanic the Tyrannotitan so long ago. The Spined Pharaoh was taken aback and moaned in pain, before reaching up with his arm and smacking Diabolus with the tip of his claw. Unphased, the demon pulled Egypt by his snout - clamping onto his neck. Blossom was smacked aside by his thrashing tail, which sported a thagomiser, as Dominum leaped forward, throwing both himself and Egypt down a slope.
The two crashed through trees and stones, before rolling onto the battlefield. The scent of Ultimus was now stronger than ever, as the two beasts sized each other up. Egypt was sweating with fear, as he saw this monster was more massive than even himself. Diabolus could see Blossom dashing towards them out of the corner of his eye, and his throat and chest blowed purple as he expelled a wave of purple fire at the foot of the slope, separating her from the battle. This was a one-on-one fight, and nobody would interfere. Diabolus fired a wave of flame at Egypt, taking the Spined Pharaoh aback, before biting down on his shoulder.
Egypt roared in pain before slashing at Dominum's neck and throwing him off. The Spined Pharaoh charged, as Diabolus twirled around and smashed his thagomiser into Egypt's ribcage. The bones collapsed with ease, as the Pharaoh moaned in agony before Diabolus turned back around to face his opponent. Dominum blasted him with a fiery beam from point-blank range as he bit down on his neck, incinerating his flesh. Egypt's will was drained out, as his vision began to blur and his slashing movements with his claws became weaker.
Diabolus then threw him back before stomping towards him, and biting onto his sail. Egypt screamed in pain before being brutally smashed into a jagged rock. It wasn't even much of a fight, as Diabolus witheld his true strength merely to see this dinosaur suffer, all while Egypt's mate watched in horror.
Dominum then kicked Egypt to the ground before picking him up by the throat in his jaws, releasing screams of pain from the Spined Pharaoh. Diabolus laughed as he threw his body around, clucking and chirping with sadistic glee. The thrashing force was too much for Egypt, and his spinal cord collapsed - snapping, from the pressure. Egypt lay lifeless within the menacing jaws of Diabolus Dominum, who blasted him into the ravine with a beam of flame. Egypt's body was smashed and decimated on the tips of the sharp rocks sticking out of the slope.
Dominum, in his unstoppable rage, picked up boulders and smashed them into the ground, sending them hurling into the ravine. He did this for hours, burying the Spined Pharaoh under a new layer of rock and clay. Blossom charged through the wall of fire, ignoring the pain, but Dominum easily picked her up and snapped her neck. Dropping her corpse to the ground, he roared in triumph, stomping off to find a new target.
From the shadows, the two unidentified theropods had watched, unable to interfere due to the flame wall. They quietly snarled in rage as Diabolus vanished. The female wanted to close her jaws around his throat and snap it, but the male chirped to her to have patience, for they would exact their revenge another time.
Dominum remembered the strong scents he had picked up in the ravine - those of four alpha-Tyrannosaurus. He knew that two of them were gone, and decided to hunt down the other two. This was not good, a tyrant is going to die.
Part 3: The Beginning of the End
It was after the deaths of Egypt and Blossom that the Reign of the Demon began. Two months had passed since their battle, and Egypt's remains were buried at the bottom of the ravine by a mudslide, and Blossom had rotted to bones. And my, how worse things have gotten in only two months.
A third of the island, scorched, reduced to cinders. What were once lush forests were now charred wastelands littered with the corpses of dinosaurs, both herbivores and carnivores. Among the first dinosaurs to have their territories destroyed were Destructo, Earth and his pack, and Giganoctus.
Earth and Gaia looked at what used to be the spot where they would rest at night with a mourning expression. Turning to his pack, the alpha male cooed, announcing that they would travel northeast to find a new territory. The four Mapusaurus began traveling in that direction immediately. Destructo, being less intelligent than most other theropods, was wandering north, unknowingly putting himself at a grave risk, for the northwestern portion of the island was Tyrannosaur Country.
Walking through the desolate wasteland, Giganoctus picked up the scents of three individuals of his species, and immediately started running in the direction. The sight he saw filled his heart with joy; his three pack-mates, resting next to a dried-up lake. The alpha-Giganotosaurus immediately cooed towards them, and they looked up at their alpha. He neck-hugged his mate Longtooth, before embracing the subordinates, Gigantor and Gigabyte. The four began to travel northeast as well.
***
In the northeastern tip of Isla Nublar, Fang and Venus were resting, each with a mournful expression; they had indeed learned of the deaths of Egypt and Blossom. They stared blankly at the river in front of them, noticing ripples in the water. The sounds of four large animals moving towards them filled their ears, and they looked up. Earth and his three were walking on the other side of the river. Standing to his feet, Fang hissed at the alpha-Mapusaurus, who growled back as he and his pack passed on.
The four pressed on, passing through Mako and Sahara's territory. The two Carcharodontosaurus growled at them, but they simply ignored them, continuing eastward. Finally, they hunkered down in an outcropping near a lake fed by a waterfall. However, only two hours after they got there, the ground began to shake. Looking up, they saw their larger cousins; four Giganotosaurus, led by none other than Giganoctus. He stepped forward, hissing at the Mapusaurus for their alpha to face him. Earth, without hesitation, stood to his feet and faced Giganoctus, issuing a challenge for the territory. The losers, if they were lucky enough to escape, would have to either defeat the second-strongest species of theropod on the island or face the terror of Tyrannosaur Country.
Earth sized up his larger opponent, who mock-lunged at him. Giganoctus snapped his jaws, flashing his serrated teeth. He was trying to get Earth to make a move, and would strike from there. Unfortunately for him, Earth knew what he was trying to do. Losing his patience, Giganoctus immediately went for a clamp on the neck. Earth hissed in pain before swinging his skull into that of the Giga, releasing his grip.
The two Carcharodontosaurids circled each other, snapping their jaws and flashing their serrated teeth. Their pack-mates watched on, focusing on only the two combatants. Earth and Giganoctus locked jaws, each using their powerful neck muscles to twist and turn, their blade-like teeth shredding their snouts. Blood dripped down their snouts and jaws, before Giganoctus pulled his head back. Both some of his and Earth's teeth were broken or removed from their mouths. Earth, his smaller size making him faster, clamped onto Giganoctus's neck, before twirling and smashing him into a tree. Giganoctus recovered quickly before swiping his claws at Earth's throat.
Suddenly, Gigabyte felt a searing pain in her tail. Turning around, she looked in horror to see Diabolus Dominum's jaws locked around her tail. She released a scream of pain, and the fight between the two alphas ceased. Diabolus pushed Gigabyte to the ground before hissing at the two alphas. Giganoctus and Earth were confused, for they thought Ultimus Dominum was dead! They had seen the cliffside collapse on top of him, so what was the monster that stood before them?!
Earth cooed to Giganoctus, signaling that they would have to fight this demon together. Giganoctus hissed in agreement, and the two alphas charged Diabolus, who simply lifted both of them up in his powerful arms. Gaia saw her mate being strangled by the Demon Lord, and she rammed her skull into his chest. Diabolus was unphased, but he was forced to drop his two victims, who wheezed for breath. The two other Mapusaurus charged Dominum, who simply smacked them aside with a swipe of his long tail.
Earth released a gluttural bellow, telling his pack to get out of there. However, the omega growled back, saying that he wanted to help take down this monster, even at the cost of his own life. Snarling in frustration, the alpha-Mapusaurus clambered to his feet and bit down on Diabolus's right arm, as Giganoctus snapped his jaws shut around his left.
Dominum shook Earth off before smacking Giganoctus in the face and pushing him back with his large mass. The alpha-Giganotosaurus, knowing that even their two packs wouldn't be able to take this beast, roared, signaling for his pack to flee, which they did. Earth hissed at him, asking what he was doing, but Giganoctus told him that it would be the only way to survive. The alpha-Mapusaurus ordered his pack to run, an order to which they complied. Earth faced the demon himself, stomping his foot into Diabolus's stomach, and using the momentum to propel him upwards, before grabbing him by the neck. Dominum fell back, and Earth threw him over the edge of a cliff. Thinking he was finished, he turned around to catch up to his pack, but little did he know.
***
Gore the Lythronax was prowling through the forest, when the ground began to rumble. He looked up, but it was too late as he was trampled by four Giganotosaurus, who were sprinting north. They ran past the pack of five Daspletosaurus, which was led by Dread and Menace. They snarled at the Gigas. Giganoctus merely roared and smashed Dread into a tree with his skull, before he and his followers continued on.
Thunderstorm was walking through a forest, down a slope, when he caught sight of the four Gigas. He snarled, asking what they were doing, to which Giganoctus replied, saying that a new Dominum had risen. The Lightning Rex's electric-blue eyes were wide with shock, as he was paralysed with fear.
***
Diabolus Dominum clambered up the side of the cliff which he had been thrown down, before letting out a demonic screech. He stomped northwest, coming across Feather the Yutyrannus. She turned, hissing at him, but shuddered at the sight of him. Dominum grabbed her by the throat with one of his arms, before throwing her into a tree. She collapsed and did not get up.
He continued on, but was faced by three rex. One of them matched one of the scents from the ravine, Earthquake. Thunderstorm's sister roared at the Demon Lord, who flashed his massive claws. She and Hurricane charged him, but the latter was smashed into a boulder. Blitz stood to his feet and bit down on Dominum's knee, breaking it. However, Diabolus regenerated it with ease, and he kicked Blitz down as he held Earthquake by the neck. As she was being choked, she released a massive roar.
***
Miles away, Thunderstorm heard the cry of his sister, and charged back, his heart racing. The sight he saw sickened him; Diabolus Dominum, holding Earthquake in one arm, Hurricane lying in a pool of blood, and Blitz, about to have his skull crushed. Thunderstorm smashed his head into Diabolus's chest, knocking the wind out of him. He clamped onto his throat before smashing him through a forest, uprooting and collapsing trees. As this happened, Dominum expelled a blast of purple fire, but Thunderstorm rammed his skull into a tree, throwing off his accuracy as he shot fire in random directions, igniting a third of Isla Nublar's vegetation.
Thunderstorm continued this, before spinning and smashing Dominum through a boulder, sending him tumbling down a slope. However, as the Demon Lord fell, he grabbed Thunderstorm by the ankle, and the two beasts fell down together. Both stood to their feet, as Dominum regenerated his cuts and bruises, before bellowing towards the Tyrant Thunderstorm, who roared with fury. This was the beginning of the end.
Part 4: The Last Stand
(Listen to Persecution of the Masses while reading.)
Isla Nublar was silent, as a destined battle between two of the largest and most powerful killers was afoot. Thunderstorm bellowed at the Demon Lord, Diaolus Dominum, who hissed and lashed out with his claws, sinking into the right side of Thunderstorm's face. The rex was not having this and snapped his jaws shut like a mouse-trap around Dominum's right arm, before swinging his skull to the left, knocking him to the ground. Diabolus easily stood up and blasted Thunderstorm with a wave of fire, disorienting the tyrant, who moaned in pain as he was grabbed by the neck and thrown to the ground, next to the ravine. He then reached down with his arm and picked up Thunderstorm by the throat, attempting to choke him to death.
In the burned-out remains of the forest next to the cliffside, Fang and Venus were passing by as Thunderstorm was being tortured. Fang cooed to his mate, announcing that he was going to intervene, but Venus implored him not to do so. The son of Egypt did not listen, as he charged Dominum head-on, before slashing with his claws, sinking them into the shoulder of the arm that held Thunderstorm, releasing blood. Diabolus screeched psychotically as he dropped the Lightning Rex, who stood next to Fang. The Demon Lord roared at the relatives of the Spined Pharaoh and the Tyrant Lord, when suddenly, he was grabbed and thrown aside by Venus.
He swiped his claws, slicing Venus's neck, before grabbing Fang's neck and throwing the two Spinos to the ground, when suddenly, he heard three roars. Turning, Diabolus could not respond as Earthquake, Hurricane, and Blitz headbutted him in unison, trampling the Demon Lord. They were joined by Albus, Alba, Alborax, and Cocoa, who snarled and bared their teeth. The Albertosaurus siblings jumped onto Diabolus's flanks, ripping away at his back with their bone-crushing jaws, while Albus and Alba whizzed around his feet, using hit-and-run tactics. Dominum grabbed Cocoa and hurled her into the ground, smashing her ribcage. The four rex each grabbed one of his limbs before yanking their skulls back, ripping them off as Diabolus's now limbless body dropped, blood gushing from the stumps.
This would not handicap him for long, as he near-instantly regenerated his limbs, before swatting Alborax and Cocoa with his tail. Just after this, he felt a horrible pain, as Feather was biting down on his tail. She had seen what this monster was capable of, and knew he had to be stopped. But she was not alone, as Gore the Lythronax was tugging on the end of Diabolus's tail like a dog would a toy.
Roaring as he was distracted with the two smaller beasts tearing his tail, Diabolus was caught off-guard, allowing the Albertosaurus family to bite down on his legs. He anticipated a charge from Earthquake, catching her in his arms. However, Blitz sank his teeth into Diabolus's right arm and pulled, causing Earthquake's skull to smash into Dominum's chest. He wheezed, as Hurricane gripped his other arm, and Thunderstorm tore chunks of tissue out of Dominum's skull, neck, and torso.
The pain, however, would not stop him, as he swung his skull, arms, and tail, forcing the Legion of Tyrants all to release their grips. Diabolus stomped towards them and twirled, smashing his thagomiser into all of them. Every one of the Tyrannosaurs suffered from fractured ribs, as Dominum turned back towards them and released a massive blast of fire, literally cooking them alive as their blood boiled and their skin was seared. All ten of them collapsed, drained of energy and willpower, as the Demon Lord towered over them, preparing to finish them off with another fiery onslaught.
From the forest, Mako and Sahara, who were conveniently passing by, noticed as the spikes on Diabolus's back glowed purple, as did his throat. One year after the death of Egypt, their nest had been ravaged and destroyed by Dominum, and now was an opportunity to claim the revenge they desired for a year. The two mustered up all their courage and charged.
As Diabolus was about to expel a beam of flame, he felt two large objects ram into his side, throwing his accuracy off. His fire, instead, shot into the sky, lighting it up like a beacon. This attracted more carnivores, and the four Mapus were the first to arrive. They were followed by the Giga pack, and Destructo, the Carnotaurus. But this was not it, as Dread, Menace, and their three fully-grown offspring entered, followed by Claw, Eagle, Hawk, and Falcon. Now, Dominum had to fend off an Abelisaurid, four Dakotaraptors, ten Carcharodontosaurids, two Spinosaurids, and fifteen Tyrannosaurs.
Snarling, he refused to give up, as his instinct prevented him from backing down and surrendering. Almost immediately, the Raptors scattered before leaping onto his back, tearing his flesh with their jaws and claws. Stepping to the side, he hissed in pain, before Destructo bit down on the end of his tail, breaking off one of the spikes of his thagomiser. The Gigas, Mapus, and Carcs went for his legs and lower-torso, the Spino pair slashed at his upper-torso, while the Legion of the Tyrant Lord, which consisted of the fifteen Tyrannosaurs, crushed the bones of his skull, neck, and arms.
It was an incredible sight, as the island's most powerful carnivores were taking the Demon Lord, even without the two true rulers of Nublar. Little did they know, they lived.
Anger, hatred, and resentment like no other began to consume Diabolus, and his body glowed a menacing purple-white, confusing the beasts attacking him. Suddenly, a massive shockwave pulse sent them all flying back. Much of the pulse was sent into the ground, which cracked and crumbled beneath their feet, sending all of them falling into the ravine.
All of them suffered demolished ribcages, and the smaller Tyrannosaurs had one arm broken. Once at the bottom, Dominum was the first to regain his composure, and he began an onslaught against the Gigas, firing beams of fire at them. Diabolus dreadfully dismembered Gigabyte, killing her, before brutally bashing Gigantor's skull with his thagomiser, causing blood to leak out of his mouth before he fell limp. Dominum then ripped open Longtooth's jaws like King Kong, snapping them and killing the alpha-female Giga. Diabolus then smacked Giganoctus with his tail before firing a ray of fire down his throat, burning him from the inside out alive, ending his life.
Dominum's thrashing tail had also sent Destructo flying into the wall of the ravine, and he stepped on his skull, killing him. Looking around, he decided that Thunderstorm would be his next victim. The Lightning Rex lay on his side, feigning his broken right shoulder, his right arm limp. Diabolus placed his left foot on the skull of the Tyrant Thunderstorm and pinned him down by his shoulder with his right arm, leaning down to burn his neck from point-blank range. The spikes on his tail glowed, followed by those on his back, also illuminating his torso, then his neck and the spikes there, and the insides of his mouth glowed an evil purple. However, he never fired the beam. The ground was rumbling, and a puddle, filled with water, was rippling. Pebbles were hopping, and the booming sounds echoed. A scent like no other filled Dominum's nose and olfactory bulbs, sending fear down his spine. A tyrant, like no other, has been unleashed, and Diabolus Dominum would be in for the fight of his life.
Part 5: The Return of the Tyrant Lord, and the Final Stand of the Tyrant Thunderstorm
(Final battle music: Moving Mountains - Two Steps From Hell. Listen while reading.)
The entire island went silent, as loud booming sounds filled the emptiness of the ravine. Diabolus looked around in fear, shaking uncontrollably as his breathing intensified. He was filled with such anxiety that he did not notice as Earth, Gaia, their two, Claw, Eagle, Falcon, Hawk, Feather, Gore, Dread, Menace, their three, Mako, Sahara, Albus, Alba, Alborax, and Cocoa clambered up the side of the ravine and left. Suddenly, more booming sounds were heard, and it became apparent that there wasn't just one animal who was approaching; there were two.
From the shadows, two pairs of eyes appeared. Both eyes were golden, with black pupils, and struck fear into the heart of the Demon Lord. He hissed, beckoning for them to come forward. The smaller of the two, but still large, stepped forward. Diabolus at-once knew who she was; Tyria, the Tyrant Lady, known as "Rexy" by the humans. She was covered in scars, from battles with the Indominus rex, Ultimus rex, and Ultimus Dominum. Dominum knew he could take her, but it was her mate that truly terrified him, as he stepped forward.
Thunderstorm, despite being pinned down by Dominum's foot, looked up, and saw two massive, muscular legs that supported a body that was eighteen feet tall. Behind them was a thick, heavy tail that took up about half of the animal's full body-length of fifty-two feet long. His torso, covered in scars like war medals, was massive, bristling with muscle, and had two small but extremely strong arms that ended in two fingers. The neck was supported by powerful muscles, that connected to the muscles that powered the tyrant's massive, bone-crushing jaws. His skull sloped from the forehead down, signaling that he had an extremely powerful bite-force, and his golden eyes glared at Diabolus Dominum beneath his fearsome brow and eye-crests.
The Tyrant Lord, let out a deafening roar as he charged Dominum, ramming him straight in the chest. The Demon Lord could do nothing, as Tyrance clamped onto his right arm, biting down with 24,000 pounds of pure pressure. Tyria lunged forward, sinking her teeth into Diabolus's thigh, before her mate shoved the demon back. Seeing Fang out of the corner of his eye, Tyrance cooed to him, asking where his parents were, to which the alpha-Spinosaurus sadly chirped that he was dead. The Tyrant Lord's heart was filled with anguish, guilt, and sorrow, as he unleashed an onslaught against the Demon Lord. Grabbing him by the wrist, he crushed it with ease under 25,000 pounds of force, tearing off his hand.
Diabolus held his arm up, screaming as his hand regenerated, before smacking Tyrance with his claws. Although blood trickled down his face, the Tyrant Lord was unphased by the pain and bellowed at his opponent. The two engaged in a face-off, when suddenly, Thunderstorm closed his jaws around Dominum's neck, before twirling and hurling him into the side of the ravine. The entire cliff shook, and it could be felt on top. Albus walked over to the edge and looked down, before returning to his pack, bellowing. Alba cooed to her mate, asking him what it was, to which he replied, saying that the Tyrant Lord had returned.
Thunderstorm was hit by a strike from Diabolus's claws, causing him to stumble back. As blood dripped down his neck, he ordered his pack-mates to leave. Earthquake chirped, saying she wanted to stay and fight, but the Lightning Rex released a threatening bellow at her. Closing his maw, his head low with guilt, Thunderstorm watched as Blitz, Earthquake, and Hurricane hiked up the slope of the ravine. He then turned back to Diabolus, fighting alongside Tyrance and Tyria as Fang and Venus joined the battle as-well. Dominum bit down on Venus's skull, releasing a sharp cry of pain from her as she shook her head profusely. However, her mate quickly intervened, sinking his claws into Diabolus's neck.
Diabolus roared psychotically before snapping his jaws shut around Fang's sail and slashing at his torso, neck, and skull, creating huge gashes. He then shifted his grip to Fang's throat, lifting him into the air using his powerful jaw and neck muscles as he smashed his thagomiser into Tyrance's right shoulder, ribcage, leg, and skull, sending him to the ground. His vision blurred as Fang was being choked out. The Tyrant Lord began to lose consciousness when a figure, a spirit, appeared before him - Egypt. The deceased Spined Pharaoh nodded to Tyrance, signaling for him to save his son. The Tyrant Lord, not willing to let the son of his ally die, found the strength within himself to stand up, his body aching with agony. He charged Dominum, smashing the demon's skull with his own before clamping onto his lower jaw, smashing it under 20,000 pounds of pressure, and forcing him to drop Fang to the ground. He healed his jaw as Tyrance and Tyria snapped their jaws at him. The alpha-Spinosaurus wheezed for breath as blood gushed down his neck. Something snapped in him, awakening the full power within him that only his father Egypt had.
Rising to his feet, Fang roared an ear-splitting bellow, signaling his transformation into the Spined Pharaoh. Venus left, heading up the slope of the ravine. Now, it was just Fang, Tyrance, Tyria, Thunderstorm, and Blitz versus Diabolus Dominum. Fang closed his jaws around Dominum's hand before slicing his torso and ribs with his claws. However, he was thrown off by a blast of purple flame that knocked him to the ground, as the four rex charged in to seal the deal. Thunderstorm and Blitz rammed their craniums into his ribcage, but, as Diabolus tried to regenerate his wounds, they ripped out chunks of flesh, and Tyria clamped onto his arms as Tyrance closed his jaws around Dominum's neck.
His bite-force leaped from 20,000 to 30,000 pounds in mere seconds, and Diabolus shook his head and screamed profusely, unable to take another second of the pain as blood began to leak out of his mouth while his throat was being crushed. The Tyrant Lord dropped his opponent to the ground and stomped on his skull. Believing him to be defeated, the four rex and one Spino turned to leave, when suddenly, they heard a yelp of pain behind them. Diabolus was holding Thunderstorm by his tail, swinging him towards himself. Tyrance charged in to save him, as Dominum unleashed a terrible blast of fire at him.
The Tyrant Lord ran through the pain, as the heat seared his skin and charred his feathers black. His run slowed to a jog, which slowed to a staggering limp. By the time he reached Diabolus, he was nearly finished. He collapsed as the Demon Lord placed his foot on his skull, preparing to finish him. The Tyrant Lord closed his eyes, accepting his fate. Suddenly, Thunderstorm slammed his shoulder into Diabolus's side, releasing a hiss of rage from the demon, who stumbled, his foot coming off of Tyrance. The Lightning Rex dueled the Demon Lord, who began to overpower him through the combination of his claws, jaws, fire, and sheer strength. Finally, he clamped onto the nearly-finished tyrant's neck, as Thunderstorm roared in tremendous agony. Dominum placed his left hand on his skull, and, using his arms and jaws, snapped his neck.
An echoing crunch silenced the battlefield. By the time Tyrance clambered to his feet, it was too late. The Tyrant Thunderstorm lie lifeless in the jaws of Diabolus Dominum. From the top of the ravine, his nephew heard the crunch and bolted down the slope in an instant, seeing the dead body of his uncle. Blitz screamed in anguish as he charged the killer of his uncle, ripping off his tail in his rage. Dominum screamed in pain before slashing Blitz in the face, shoulders, and neck with his giant claws, before kicking him to the ground and preparing to finish him. The Tyrant Lord saw this, and rammed the Demon Lord with all his might. No, he was not going to let another tyrant die today, NO!
Biting onto his throat, Tyrance smashed Diabolus into the ravine wall multiple times, cracking it, before hurling him inside a hidden cavern. Dominum opened his maw as his body glowed, and expelled a ray of fire that closed off the entrance to the area. Tyrance threw Diabolus to the ground as the latter regenerated his tail before standing back to his feet. Now, they were alone, and only one would walk away alive. The Tyrant Lord snarled with pure rage, hatred, and menace as he glared at Diabolus Dominum, his eyes never averting their gaze from him. This was it, the final battle, the Tyrant Lord versus the Demon Lord.
