The Story of Spinax: Chapter 9-12

Chapter 9: Spinosaurus Vs. Suchomimus Vs. Carcharodontosaurus Vs. Sarcosuchus

The Sarcosuchus grabbed the Suchomimus by the belly, making the latter roar in pain. He pulled the Sucho under, both struggling. Only the crocodile resurfaced, his jaws dripping with blood. Spinax let his hate get the better of him, charging into the water. He grabbed the Sarco's front leg, kicking him in the face. The latter grabbed Spinax by the neck, pulling him. They were now fully in the water, with Spinax slashing his foe. Blossom joined her mate, biting the crocodilian by the tail. The Sarcosuchus grabbed her by the stomach, making her roar. Spinax rammed the croc, latching onto his neck. The crocodile wrenched himself free, biting Spinax's belly.

Blossom recovered, kicking the Sarco in the side. He grabbed her foot, and she tried to swim to the surface. Gasping for air, she got out of the water as Spinax exited the river, crushing the Sarco's skull under his foot.

However, they turned to see the Carcharodontosauruses eating their babies. Blossom roared in anger, charging. She slashed the male, then bit down on his neck. The Spinosaurus kicked him in the thigh, her toe claws tearing his skin open. He winced, shaking her off and knocking some of her teeth out.

Meanwhile, Spinax did battle with the female, hitting her in the face. He then rammed into her chest, lashing out with his claws. The Spinosaurus hit her in the neck, but she slashed him just behind his arm, blood spilling everywhere. He collapsed from blood loss and shock, at the mercy of his opponent. She prepared to stomp on his skull, but Blossom saw, biting her neck. Spinax reached up, biting her stomach. She howled in agony, kicking him in the chest. He let go, tearing out several of his teeth. The male Carc attacked Blossom, ramming her on one side. His mate hit her from the other, and, on collision, they shattered several of her ribs, rendering her unconscious.

Spinax was left alone to fend off the enemies. The female chomped down on his right shoulder, limiting his arm's mobility. He reached out with his other arm, taking out her right eye. She wheezed as he hit her in the neck, then bit her there. Just as Spinax snapped the female's neck, the male charged, knocking him over. He clamped down on his throat, knocking him into a tree. The fallen piscivore reached up with his foot, scraping him in the side. He stumbled back in pain, allowing Spinax to stand up. The Carc grabbed his arm, but he hit his shoulder with his free hand.

Spinax then kicked him in the shin, sending him crashing to the floor. He kicked the Carc in the face, but he grabbed his leg, making him screech in pain.

The sound woke Blossom up, who charged the Carc. She kicked him in the spine as he stood up, grabbing her neck. Spinax slashed the Carc's tail, making him let go. The two Spinosaurs looked at each other, then flanked the carnosaur. The Carc rammed into Spinax, sending him crashing into an abandoned building. The impact shattered his ribs and debris tore his skin, making him bellow in pain. Exhausted, he fell down, watching Blossom fight.

The Carc grabbed Blossom, throwing her through a giant rock. She crashed to the ground, unconscious, but apparently dead. Spinax let out a faint cry for his mate. He couldn't believe that she was dead. But the Carc turned to him, biting deep into his neck. He pinned down the Spinosaurus with his foot, which was on top of his broken ribs. Spinax had never felt more pain, both emotional and physical.

With each titanic chomp, the Carcharodontosaurus drove deeper into Spinax's deep green skin. His neck was torn and cut, blood spilling from every direction. Eventually, his throat was reduced to a bloody pulp. Bits of his green flesh were everywhere, coated with blood. The Carc thought he was dead, roaring in triumph.

Spinax was too weakened to fight back. He had lost everything; his mate, his young, and now, his life. The thought of death scared him, making him tremble and shudder. His attacker froze at the motion.

Shit, the Carcharodontosaurus thought. Suddenly, he fell backwards as Spinax stood up, his legs trembling as adrenaline flushed through his veins. He let out a deafening roar, straight into his enemy's ears. The Carc, now standing up, stumbled back as the noise pierced his ears. Suddenly, the noise disappeared. He went deaf just as Spinax's giant bellow ended. The Spinosaurus, driven by anger and thirst for revenge, knocked the Carcharodontosaurus over.

"This is for my offspring!" he yelled, biting the neck and sinking his claws into it. He brought down his massive leg directly on the creature's spine, snapping it along with several of his ribs, howling, "This is for my mate!" The Carc tried to stand up, but couldn't. He didn't even feel his legs. He was paralyzed. Spinax drove his foot down, pressing harder, while tearing the Carcharodontosaurus's neck clean off his shoulders.

"AND THIS IS FOR ME!" he screamed with one final roar. The corpse was a mess. It lay in a puddle of blood from where the neck was removed, and everything from the chest to the arms was obliterated, a mess of bone, blood, and organs. The Spinosaurus let out a massive roar of triumph, echoing across the island.

Spinax, exhausted, felt everything begin to go blurry. His blood loss and exhaustion was taking its toll on him. He collapsed, barely making out a pair of gray legs walking toward him. Then, everything went black.

Chapter 10: Humans

Spinax and Blossom now had another group of babies. Both parents were scarred, especially Spinax, and at times terrified their children. But they knew they could rely on their parents. Particularly their father, Spinax, who had been through many battles. His injuries had healed and he had regained full use of his right arm, but every once in a while, he would feel pain. As a result, he was scarred both physically and emotionally.

Meanwhile, Vic Hoskins and his team were hunting for a Spinosaurus to put in their new theme park, Jurassic World. Creeping in the bushes, they spotted Spinax. His mate walked over to him with a fish in her jaws, and their babies scampered over to eat.

"Boys, we got ourselves a whole family," Hoskins snickered, a smug expression on his face.

Spinax heard, turning to the bushes. He saw the humans and began chasing them.

However, they escaped due to being able to quickly navigate rough terrain.

Later, the humans returned from their camp, where the chopper was. They had several jeeps, a motorbike, and two giant transport vehicles.

A mercenary, on the motorbike, lit a flare, luring Spinax and his family. He drove over to the other humans, the Spinosaurs following. They encountered the jeeps, where more men were waiting, with tranquilizers. One hit Spinax in the shoulder, but it wasn't enough. Blossom attacked the jeep, flipping it over.

"Shit!" cried one of the humans, named Gavin. He was stuck inside the jeep, and crawled out. Spinax approached him, jaws agape.

Putting a dart in his gun, he aimed, hitting Spinax in front of his arm. The Spinosaurus's vision went blurry, and he collapsed, falling into the cage of one of the transport vehicles.

Spinax woke up. He and his family were on a boat. They were being shipped to another island. Still inside the cage of the transport vehicle, he looked to his left, seeing Blossom in the cage of the other. He tried to call out to her, but all that came out was a small croak. His throat burned and ached. Spinax realized he had lost his voice from all his roaring when he fought the Carcharodontosaurus.

He heard a growl, and turned to his right, seeing a Carcharodontosaurus, named Shark Fang, who was also in a cage. Shark Fang was the brother of the male Carc Spinax had killed, and the two were hostile toward each other.

"The Spinosaurus attraction is gonna be badass," Gavin told another human, Jonah. "Especially the male. We'll call him Spinax. It took him a ridiculously large dose to knock him out. It would've killed Rexy or the average Spinosaurus."

Spinax recalled when Gavin had tranquilized him. But he didn't have time to think about it, for the boat lurched.

Gavin pulled a lever, opening a large door. The sun shined bright in the Spinosaurs' eyes.

"We've arrived," Gavin declared. "Welcome to Isla Nublar."

Chapter 11: Jurassic World-The Big Four

Spinax and his family were transferred to an attraction in Jurassic World, the Spinosaurus Swamp. The family would have been in the Cretaceous Cruise, but Gavin insisted that they have their own attraction due to there being many species in the cruise. The Spinosaurs were happy; they had lots of fish, and their keeper, Gavin, was nice to them.

One day, Spinax walked to the edge of the paddock, peering through the pexiglass. He was staring into the Tyrannosaurus Rex Kingdom, the domain of Rexy, the world's largest Tyrannosaurus. She saw him, and, for the first time, felt fear. Rexy was a staggering 45 foot long, 18 foot tall, 9 ton animal, but Spinax was a full ten feet longer than her, and nine feet taller because of his spectacular sail. And he was larger than the average Spinosaurus. Rexy was already wary of those beasts, so you can only imagine how she felt around Spinax. His large number of scars also marked him as an experienced veteran, and she knew this would make him a tough opponent if they ever fought.

Spinax also felt fear, just from seeing Rexy. Like himself, she was larger than the average individual of her kind. He knew the damage the average Tyrannosaurus Rex could do, and Rexy made the rest of her kin look like Compys. She had giant jaws that sported 60 thick, robust teeth. Just the sight of that made him shudder. The T-Rex had an athletic and stocky physique that just screamed muscles at him. He could tell that she was one tough cookie to crack, that she could take quite a beating. She also had scars on her back, neck, and chin, but nowhere as much as Spinax.

It was impossible to tell who would win in a fight; Spinax had size and experience, Rexy had strength and endurance.

Peering past Rexy, Spinax saw a new visitor center. He and the T-Rex were on the building's right.

On the other side was the Giganotosaurus Valley. There was a pack whose leader was named Longtooth, and, like Spinax and Rexy, she was a prodigy for her kind. 48 feet long and 18 feet tall, she was the size of a Spinosaurus. Her jaws were bigger than Rexy's but not as robust. She possessed 8 inch blades in her mouth that were designed for tearing flesh.

Next to Longtooth was the Carcharodontosaurus Plains, home of Shark Fang and his mate. The former was also a prodigy. At 46 feet long and 17.5 feet tall, he was bigger and meaner than his brother. Shark Fang rivaled Longtooth in power.

Like predicting the outcome of a fight between Spinax and Rexy, determining the victor of a fight between Longtooth and Shark Fang was difficult. Both animals were practically identical.

None of them knew it, but they would one day join forces as the Big Four to bring down the ultimate hybrid...

Chapter 12: The Fall of Jurassic World

Like Jurassic Park, the time came when Jurassic World went to shit. Except, it didn't start with a human-it was caused by a dinosaur. A hybrid. The Indominus Rex.

Spinax overheard the park's employees talking about the I-Rex, but he hadn't seen nor heard her. Neither did any of the other three main carnivores.

"Where is she now?" a human named Douglas asked Gavin.

"Don't know. If she lays a hand on Rexy or Spinax, I will personally assassinate her," the latter replied. "I knew creating a hybrid was a bad idea."

"Apparently there're more hybrids on the way," Douglas mentioned.

"What the fuck? What's wrong with these shits?"

"They're fucktards. They haven't learned that life finds a way."

"Yeah. Everything's going to shit."

When the sun went down, Spinax saw the Indominus walk outside his paddock. She didn't see him, but he instantly feared her.

Sometime later, during the night, Spinax heard a noise. He looked toward Rexy's paddock, watching her exit.

"Kick the I-Rex's albino ass!" he yelled as she let out a roar of freedom. Rexy chased the park manager, Claire, who held a flare.

As the sun began to rise, Spinax heard Rexy's roar from far away, and began ramming the pexiglass of the paddock wall. He shattered it, and he and his family stepped through, to freedom. They were finally free. Free at last.

Epilogue

Deep inside an abandoned lab, a new dinosaur hatched. It was a T-Rex with the crests and frill of Dilophosaurus, the size range of Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus, the nose horn and fingers of Ceratosaurus, the arms of Therizinosaurus, the horns of Carnotaurus, the sail of Spinosaurus, the crest of Parasaurolophus, and the intelligence and toe claws of Dakotaraptor. It was the Ultimus Rex, and she would terrorize every dinosaur on Isla Nublar, even the Big Four...
