A just announced discovery of the first, nearly complete Torvosaurus in Colorado has unveiled the real ruler of the Jurassic. Dubbed “Elvis”, this gigantic Megalosaur is the largest complete theropod dinosaur from the Jurassic; nearly as big as T-Rex, but more than twice as old. The first rooted tooth from this monster was nearly a foot long. The full announcement is here.
