Hello everyone, this will be my first fight that I have ever written so sorry if it isn’t to the standards you’re used to, this fight will be different from what is usually written as this is an underwater fight and I would like to take into account many variables, but I’m not great with ratios and stuff like that but I hope I can find a program that can automate the fights with the info on the animals given. I would like to eventually have it set up to where the fighter who wins will have a higher win ratio than its opponent out of 500 fights, 50-50 battle ratios will result in stalemates, but for now it will be me spit balling and my personal opinions on the information we have on the fighters. The last tad bit of info about this is that these fights will not be to the death a lot of the time unless the battle requires a fight to the death as many fights between carnivores only result in injuries and not death. But enough of my rambling please enjoy this battle if you think it is good.

                            Adult Mosasaurus V.S Adult Basilosaurus

It’s almost pitch-black as an adult Mosasaurus (50ft in length) glides steadily through the water, the Mosasaurus coasts along turning on its side to check for prey against the sunlight streaming down from above. The Mosasaur sees a small slender shape near the surface; it dives a few meters then aligns itself almost vertical and coils itself like a spring. Then with a powerful slap of its tail the Mosasaur springs up from the depths and in only seconds is upon its prey, its jaws close around the animal as the momentum from the Mosasaur is enough to lift them both out of the water and they crash back into the ocean that’s now slick with blood. As the Mosasaur begins gnawing on its prize it senses another presence in the darkness below, a shape rises from the depths and reveals itself as an adult Basilosaurus of equal size to the Mosasaurus.

The Mosasaurus tries to move away from the Basilosaurus with its prize, but the Basilosaurus grabs the tail end of the dead animal and begins yanking it until the Mosasaur lets go of the carcass and bites the Basilosaurus. The Basilosaurus drops the carcass and yanks itself from the Mosasaurs warning bite, both predators begin circling each other and the underwater world is filled with a cacophony of clicks and bass filed bellows as the two try to intimidate the other into backing down. The Mosasaur is the first to strike as it springs forward and bites over the Basilosaurus snout trapping its jaws as the Mosasaur begins to shake its head tearing off skin and flesh. The Basilosaurus finally rips its snout from the Mosasaurs jaws and turns its body as if it were leaving the fight; the Mosasaur is slammed from the side by the Basilosaurus tail leaving the Mosasaur stunned.

The Basilosaurus moves in after seeing that its feint worked and swims above the Mosasaur then dives biting down on the back of the Mosasaur, the Mosasaur begins thrashing and trying to escape the Basilosaurs jaws. The Mosasaur is able to break free of the Basilosaurs grip and using its powerful tail shoots around underneath the Basilosaurus, and coiled like a spring shoots up the few feet between them and bites down behind the Basilosaurs head and begins shaking violently tearing flesh and blubber. The Mosasaur tears a small chunk of flesh from the Basilosaurus as it wiggles free of the Mosasaurs jaws, the Basilosaurus, while not severely injured begins to move away from the Mosasaur clicking and bellowing into the dark depths in search of easier food to steal or catch. Triumphantly the Mosasaur returns to its prize being nibbled on by small sharks, the Mosasaur is able to catch a shark as it returns to the carcass and begins to feed.

                                  Winner: Mosasaur

the battle was a little short, therew wasn't much action, but I agree with the winner, and let me just say this: you are an AMAZING writer.the whole fight, especially the beginning, was brilliantly described and written. Can't wait for the next battle of ancients!
