Part One The Slumbering Giant

100,000 year in the future on planet earth.

Mankind's population has returned from the ten thousand into a few billion. The people who live on this planet know little about war. The who do tell it like a myth, the great war and the Dinosaur king who saved our planet and mankind from the concurring god like beings. The worlds capital is the city state Gaia named by the dinosaur king, every decision is made there.Within that city state a monument stands at the center of the city state, the armor set of the dinosaur king. The worlds population may have forgotten about him but I have not, for I was there during the war. I was Captain Donovan once an american Naval captain cursed by a skinwalker but, people don’t believe that so I am called the Guardian. I can not turn into a human anymore, But i can speak in my animal form. Aristion, Archimedes, Dimini, and thanatos are off in other countries teaching the human race the past and how they can change the future.

Even though we are on different continent we all are called guardians, the gods may be gone but the dragons have not and the guardian with the soldier group called slayers keep them from destroying mankind.

This tale is not about only me however it is about a boy, he did not know it but he will find out that his future will be very important it began 15 years ago in the city of Gaia. The boys name is Jonathan fireborn he lived in the blue-flame district of the city. He mostly lived a normal life, until the dragons attacks.

It was eight o’clock at night the sun was just setting over the dunes of the desert, the people in the city where running about the inner walls. Johnathan was sitting on a bench in the center of the district's park reading a book he was fifteen at the time. The sirens started to go off he dropped his book and began to run, when he made it to the street everyone was panicking each apartment complex began to go into lockdown. He tried to get to one of the open building, but a man pushed him away from it he hit the ground hard. John hit his head hard on the cement knocking him out when he awoke the streets were vacant the syrians still went off, slowly standing up he looked for some place to hide he could hear the wind picking up near him he saw a small alley way and he ran towards it.

It was too late however a great thud hit the ground the boy turned to look behind him and he saw the dragon, so scared he did not move the dragon looked down on him then slowly breathed in. Before the dragon could breath fire a roar came from behind the dragon, john looked behind the dragon and saw the Guardian. The Guardian attacked the dragon grabbing ahold of its wing he ripped it off the dragon screeched in pain, it did not phase the guardian he went in for the kill tearing apart the dragon. Then blood still dripping from his maw the guardian looked down at the boy and said “ Hide child.” Jonathan ran for the alley was and slid under a dumpster the smell made him vomit but that was better than being burned alive. John watched as the guardian fought the dragons ripping them apart the slayers appeared a few minutes later. The slayer Mecha suits made them seem like giants,without warning the dumpster that he was hiding underneath was lifted up he quickly turned around in a panic there stood the caption of the Slayers his father Alexander fireborn. Jonathan was scared his father looked angry but then his father said calmly “Jonathan what in gods name are you doing out here during a dragon attack.” Jonathan said very quietly “ I was in the park reading the a book then the sirens went off. I tried to get into one of the building but a man pushed me out of the building knocking me out.” Alexander said to his son “ Alright Jonathan i believe your story i am just glad that you are safe.” As Alexander picked up his son the syrians changed from a small booming sound to what sounded like explosions. The earth underneath Alexander and Jonathan ripped open dropping them down a large sinkhole. Alexander Grabbed ahold of his son tightly activating the safe-landing features in the suit the two landed at a survivable speed.

The suit took most of the impact luckily for Alexander and his son but it is now unusable. Alexander pushed open the safety hatch on the mecha suit  pulling himself out of it he grabbed ahold of his son who was unconscious. Walking into the cavern that they landed in Alexander tried to find a way out but something seemed to be in his way, lighting a flare he had in his pocket alexander looked up using the flare as a light there in front of him lays a legend the dinosaur king sleeping waiting to be awoken.
