Demon the Carnotaurus Chapter 9

6 months later:

     Demon was dying. Masarani Corp finished building the new park and almost every dinosaur outside the perimeter fence was gone. The only ones left where about 30 Compies and a few velociraptors. Demon was the ultimate predator but not after going weeks without food. Above that the raptors have attacked him for food and he had a large cut on his thigh. Demon opened his eyes slowly and groaned to the sound of chirping Compies. They surrounded him. One stepped closer and Demon swiftly grabbed it in his mouth and ate it. He slowly got up and let out a weak roar at the rest of the Compies. He walked a bit but had to relax. His leg was starting to ooze a yellow liquid. Then he heard the sound of a helicopter. I two bladed helicopter hovered above with a net. Demon roared at it as it slowly fell to the ground. Several workers slid down ropes attached to the chopper. Demon was about to kill one when he felt a dart in his neck. He instantly blacked out as the net surrounded his body.              It was 3:00 a.m the park was silent. All remaining visitors where either in the hotel or the lounge. A maintenance team was waiting by a new paddock. A forklift carrying a large crate appeared from the jungle. The parks game warden Hamada and the owner Patel where waiting at the sight. The forklift set down the crate. "Let's see what you've brought me Mr.Hamada,"said Patel.

    Demon awoke inside the crate. His head felt like a pile of bricks fell on it, though his leg felt fine. He swung his head over and saw a cast over his leg. That's when he realized he was in a crate. He started banging at the walls violently. "I want all guns ready!" Shouted Hamada. The maintenance team grabbed a hold of the cage and pushed it into the loading bay. Demon looked through the cracks in the crate. He stared at the workers with his bright yellow eyes. Demon heard a loud clicking sound. A man climbed above the cage. Demon heard his footsteps. He bent down and the gate started to rise. Demon saw the light from the moon. He could see the workers looking at him through the cracks. Demon camouflaged. He slowly started walking out of the crate.

    "Where is it?" Asked Patel. "I'm not sure. Where is it! Hamada yelled to the maintenance crew. Demon crashed though the cage and grabbed a worker in his jaws. The worker screamed. All hell was breaking loose. "Close the gate." Yelled Hamada as he rushed in. The workers closed the gate as demon backed off into the paddock with the worker still in his mouth. He dropped the man and all the workers could hear where his screams.
