Also, I'd lower the weight a bit. As National geographic has put it at a weight of 6 tons.

And prehsitoric ones... Don't forget paul sereno was the guy who actually estimated the weight.

Catzilla, it's a bit inclined, just for an artistic reason :)

I don't exclude it could walk on all four, I actually think that could have been likely. But the posture is just from an artistic point of view :)

ANd HHP, NatGeo can be reliable until a certain point (their marimade flick for example - pftt). I think, such a long creature could weigh 7-9 tons, also considering the sail (not the 20t+ monster some consider anyway). Flesh weighs no matter what. So 6 tons is a tad too low, but still likely at some extremes.

Ok, that's fine DinoSteve. I ussualy estimate it a bit higher then 6 tons but, not as high as 9 tons but, that's just me.

I ussualy put it at 7-8 tons. 8 tons is a bit of a push though IMO.

Wow it's so wired Icause I normally here it being 11 tons and up to 14 tons. I don't kno what dot believe anymore. Bit I go with 10 tons on average.

I guess 9tons would be the max extreme, composed by old bucks who don't stop from growing. :)

I definitely think 7-9 tons is reasonable thinking how little we know about this awesome animal.

It was more of a collaboration between a team-mate and me, where I made the details and the colors of the model :)

Sci-Fi King, I know, but this is partially basing on Sereno's new skeleton :)

Thanks anyway guys.

Alright HipHop, make sure you type "in my opinion" before saying something like these. I have indeed already explained to NG's scalling being inaccurate. So for the last time, stop posting this as a fact.

Anyways....

I think it looks alright. Weird choice of colors those haha. Kinda reminds me of a gaint flamingo. I'm guessing this one showing on display is 15 or 16m long just by scaling the picture.

When does PH start anyways?

reading over their article, they say it's "the largest theropod" and only have it at 6 tons...which could be one of two things

1.) they're incorrectly using the term "largest", which looks bad for NatGeo really..

and..

2.) It may be a case of bad reporting on the case of NatGeo...not something i would put past 'em really, no where does it say 'Paul sereno states...' so i think we'll have to wait and see on it

OMG great work, congrats! And it's also really accurate with the stance, it's not as tall ad we thought previously. I like the weights, however 9 Tons might be too high just my opnion! But agian outstanding work, 10/10 ign.
