Utahraptor may win one v one but it would be something like 90/10 in favor of the rex.

Same goes for spino, they're just too big for one dromeaosaur - as big as utahraptor is - to manage. Droms aren't very adept at killing things substaintially bigger then them in a one v once scenario

Wikipedia exerpt:

"The largest described U. ostrommaysorum specimens are estimated to have reached up to 7 m (23 ft) long and somewhat less than 500 kg (1,100 lb) in weight"

i don't like wikipedia really, but there's more sources for Utahraptor being under a ton...i'll have to do some digging

One v one, a better opponent for Utahraptor would be Allosaurus Fragilis

Wait, so Utah was closer to half a ton? Six Utah vs one Rex is a suicide mission for Utah. Sorry to say, but R.I.P. Utahraptor pack.

Its just a differance of opinions here guys ;) And whoever brought Spino into this, dont bother thinking youll get an answer, that was a very stupid question to ask and can get you reported, you could have chose any other dinosaur to compare, but what you chose to compare was Spino.

Yeah, P-X it's quite childish to tell one other "party" that they're wrong and act smug about it.

We are all wrong to an extent, we can't be sure abot something untill we seeit, maybe rex wahs bigger utahs smarter, the awnsere is that we don't know ho would win, we can only make assumptions and gueeses

Yes, I forgot about that, we're basing this off educated assumptions, but in the end, they are just mere assumpstions.

Catzilla - JRR i guess now: That's what we're debating right now. Hence, why we are actually..

Mr.Happy: perhaps not, six would be enough imo. Droms are smart, and they can use their numbers to flank the rex, or have some distract while others attack.

One v one, that would be a suicide mission

Perhaps Carno. Just the same, Rex might be a bit much for them. If they're desperate, that's why they're attacking the Rex. If they're not desperate, they have no reason to attack.

The theropod database(quite reliable imo) had this to say on utahraptor:

(BYU 9435) distal caudal vertebra

(BYU 13068) pedal ungual II
(CEU 184v.260) (5.03 m) tibia (503 mm)
(CEU 184v.294) pedal ungual II
(CEU 184v.400) premaxilla
Referred- (BYU 15465) (~5.9 m) femur (600 mm) (Erickson et al., 2009)
(BYU coll.) teeth (Kirkland et al., 2005)
(BYU and CEU coll.) (at least nine individuals; juvenile to adult; ~3-5.6 m, some ~11 m?) 190 elements including premaxillae, nasal, quadratojugal, cervical vertebrae, dorsal vertebrae, sacral vertebrae, proximal caudal vertebrae, coracoid, partial ilium, incomplete ischium, femora (310-565 mm), astragalus, metatarsal II, phalanx II-1, metatarsal III, metatarsal IV (Britt et al., 2001)
