MemberCompsognathusAugust 13, 20147513 Views31 RepliesSo, for many of us, there's a particular museum that holds a special spot in all our hearts. For me, that's the Carnegie in Pittsburgh PA. Why? It's close(2.5 hours away), I've been there a ton, and it was my first museum. They have the largest collection of Jurassic dinosaurs anywhere in the world and the third largest collection of dinosaurs in the US. From the very first T.rex to the immense Apatosaurus, the Carnegie is a must see for any dinosaur fan....

And this is just a small sample of the whole museum. There's an exhibit dedicated to sea reptiles and past sea life. There's an ancient Egypt exhibit, an Arcitc exhibit, mineral/gem exhibit, a modern animals exhibit, and an art museum as well. The Carnegie is certainly worth seeing! 5/5 stars!
