DWC: Creepypasta- *2 UPDATES*

Dinosaur Writing Challenge: Write a Dinosaur Creepypasta

 

Okay, if you don’t know already, Paden has left me in charge for this DWC during his new month of absence. This is, of course, temporary, and he trusts that I can handle this responsibility, and I will try my best to do this just as Paden would. Now, on to why you clicked onto this discussion.

The deadline will be approximately 48 hours.  Still, it is advised that you turn it in 24 hours, I am on a very "shaky" schedule.

Okay, now let’s pretend for one moment I am the infamous x_paden_x…

Okay, now we all did good in the Unseen Beauty DWC. However, sometimes we never think about how dinosaurs would be like if they were scary…

 

Scary as in something like a horror story. Something to make the reader feel scared, or a sense of uneasiness that overcomes the reader into becoming scared, or more fearful when alone.

 

Now, when I say Creepypasta, I do not mean something stupid like a haunted Jurassic Park video game, or a doll/toy t-rex that kills its victims, or a dinosaur that has tentacles coming out of it, or just a cliche horror story that is just stupid.

 

It must be original, here are the rules:

 

-You, as in YOU are a worker for Jurassic World.

 

-One day, you notice something strange about a dinosaur, something that scares you at night, that HAUNTS you when alone or in the darkness. Maybe even both.

 

-You must show signs of character development when writing, character development as in showing that you are becoming scared, you are easily scared, you are afraid of becoming alone at night, you are having nightmares, certain images will not come out of your mind.

 

-Do not include anything cliche, generic, or something you know for sure that will not give that sense of uneasiness or fear into someone.

 

-If you include images, please cite your sources, let’s do this professionally.

 

-You must have proper grammar, spelling, capitalization, etc. Points will be taken off if a significant amount of grammatical errors are shown.

 

-If the dinosaur you choose is from a pack/herd, it must be different from the other members to make it more “scary”.

 

-The story can be in the form of a simple story just going the way it is, it can be in first-perspective, it can be from the voice of a narrator, a form of a blog/diary, something to make the reader feel uneasy.

 

-Use profane language if necessary, but ONLY to make it realistic or give a dramatic effect. Points will be taken off if I deem a cuss word as “unecessary.”

 

-Once finished, PLEASE e-mail me at picori101@gmail.com . I ask that you e-mail me because if I don’t have access to the forums in Mexico, I will not be able to grade the DWCs. PLEASE at all costs e-mail it to me. If you do not have an e-mail… Then PM me.

 

DEADLINE

The deadline to send me the DWC will be 24-48 hours. Please send it to me as soon as possible. The reason why it is like this is because right now I have no clue as to when we are leaving the house, and I plan to print these on paper and read them during the trip at night time, when no one will be able to bother me, and to give me the full effect of a creepypasta.
