Random Fight: Spinosaurus vs Sarchosuchus

Spinosaurus

The individual for this fight is a seven ton male. He's faced off against a few crocs during his life, but prefers not to.

Sarchosuchus

The individual in this fight is an eight ton male. He has faced off against dinosaurs, but prefers to stay away unless they are near the water.

Begin!

A drought hit the African savannah. It's been going full force for almost three weeks, and what's left of the river is not much more than four feet deep. Skeletons litter the area around where the river once flowed endlessly through the heart of a Spinosaurus territory. The skeletons range from four foot long juveniles of many species to almost fifty foot skeletons from crocodiles and large carnivores.

The Spinosaurus stood up with great effort. He hasn't eaten in a week, and it's starting to show. He is losing weight, and he's having a hard time keeping cool. He looked at the river and lowered his head. It's been getting lower everyday, and now the water isn't even cool. He walked to the river, dipped his head in, and started drinking.

The Sarchosuchus was in the same river. He was getting desperate, having not had a meal in almost two weeks. He saw the Spinosaurus, but he wasn't sure if it was worth the risk. He decided it was, and swam towards him.

The Spinosaurus saw movement in the river. He knew what was coming, and he kept drinking, not allowing the Sarchosuchus to know he was spotted. The Sarchosuchus lunged, and the Spinosaurus ducked out of the way. The Sarchosuchus landed on the ground a few feet away from the river, and the Spinosaurus bit his back.

The Sarchosuchus hissed, and the Spinosaurus pulled him farther away from the river. The Sarchosuchus hit the Spinosaurus on the side with his tail, and the Spinosaurus let go. They looked at each other, and neither was about to back down. The Sarchosuchus pulled his head back, ready to strike, and the Spinosaurus curled his arms, ready to counter. The Sarchosuchus relaxed, and the Spinosaurus eased up.

With sudden speed, the Sarchosuchus attacked. He went for his neck, but fell short and bit his chest. The Spinosaurus roared in pain and flailed his arms as the sudden weight increase caused him to stumble forward. He regained his balance and turned around. The Sarchosuchus was slowly getting closer to the river, and the Spinosaurus saw it. He stepped between the Sarchosuchus and the river, but the Sarchosuchus wasn't going to give up.

With a sudden burst of speed, the Sarchosaurus lunged for the Spinosaurus. The Spinosaurus jumped back and tripped over one of the skeletons. The Spinosaurus managed to turn and landed on his side instead of on his back, but he was winded. The Sarchosuchus went for his underbelly, but he kicked him away in time. The Spinosaurus stood up, and the Sarchosuchus went into the river.

The Spinosaurus went toward the river, but stopped short. The Sarchosuchus seemed to have disappeared. The Spinosaurus watched for him, and he saw movement. He walked over and stepped where he saw the Sarchosuchus move. He pulled his foot out, and there was nothing. He looked for a moment, and suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his foot. The Spinosaurus looked down, and the Sarchosuchus had his foot in his jaws.

The Sarchosuchus was about to break his ankle when the Spinosaurus kicked him with his free foot. The Sarchosuchus lost his grip, and the Spinosaurus went back to land. The Sarchosuchus went after him, but he quickly realized his mistake. The Spinosaurus turned around and brought his foot down. The Sarchosuchus's skull was crushed, and the Spinosaurus quickly began eating.

Winner....... Spinosaurus

More fit for land combat (never thought I'd say that about Spino, but here it is), Spinosaurus had an advantage due to the lack of water.

As many of you know, I'm almost at 4000 posts. Do any of you guys think I should do a special fight for that post? If so, I'd rather it be mid sized to large carnivore vs mid sized to large carnivore, as I find thise fights the most fun write.

What about Gojirasaurus?

That guy is practically Godzilla.

(Yes, this is meant as a joke)

Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-

Cool fight!  I was rooting for Sarc though.  Keep up the goo work!

Oh, and P.S.- Crocs can go months without eating a meal, so two weeks probably wouldn't have been that long for a Sarc to go without eating.

Nice fight. I don't think there would be to on T-rex vs Godzilla though, it would all be over with the flick of a toe.

Youre fat, and I'm not sugarcoating it cause you'd probably eat that too.

What about Acrocanthosaurus vs Titanovenator? That'd be a good fight.

Youre fat, and I'm not sugarcoating it cause you'd probably eat that too.
