The JP Tyrannosaur "Plot-hole" debunked

MemberCompsognathusMarch 24, 2014Locked8676 Views104 RepliesSo there is a famous plot hole of the Tyrannosaurus escape in which the T. rex escpaes then knocks the explorer down a large concrete moat that randomly appeared. The Tyrannosaur should have fallen in the moat or not have evn escaped. So here is the explanation for it:
So if you look at the diagram, the Tyrannosaur actually flips the Ford and shoves to the right. Then he knocks it over the side, next to Pole 3, while the T. rex escaped between Pole 1 and 2. When the car falls, to can see the hill in which the Tyrannosaur stood on to escape. In the book the Tyrannosaurus actually has a similar hill. The "moat" is actually a hill or plateau, probably built becaus the cars were supposed to stop farther down the road, but the power outage had different ideas. So, hope that explains things!
