Greetings fellow Jurassic Park fans and dinosaur lovers,

Is is possible to obtain 100% percent DNA of all 25 species of dinosaurs, create them, and place them in your park in the PS2 version of Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis?

I read that the PS2 version only permits the player to unlock 3 fossil dig sites, while the Xbox and PC versions allow the player to unlock 5 sites. Does this affect how many species you can discover? It would seem odd to me if, in the PS2 version exclusively, you were not able to discover and create all 25 species for your park.

I plan on purchasing the PS2 version of the game.

Thank you in advance for your answers and my apologies if this topic/thread is in the wrong location. I just joined the forum.

It's in the right section. I've never played JP:OG, so I can't say for sure.

I have the PS2 version. You can only get 3 sites with a maximum of 9 species(3 at each). It's still fun and cool, but that's the max. I know you can mod the PC versions. I don't know if there's a way to do that on the PS2 version(I haven't tried it as I'm not too good at that stuff). However, completely unmodded, you can only get 3 sites in the PS2 version.

Oh man.

So you can't get all the species then? Can you get the rest of them through amber or something?

Unless you find a cheat or can mod it, no. Like I said, still a fun game and you can try out tons of different species, just not all at once.

I know on the PC version you can mod it, I've made it so that I can unlock 7 digsites instead of 5, but I'm not sure if you can do it on the PS version

yes, some of the text files are mod-able. But you have to copy the files to your pc first to mod it, then burn it to your cd.

if I may, I suggest you to buy the pc version instead, since almost all except the model are mod-able in the pc version
