Plesiosaur necks

The forgotten king

Ok so I have a question for everyone, do you guys think plesiosaurs could lift their necks out of the water? I personally think plesiosaurus like plesiosaurus and other small plesiosaurs could and I also think cryptoclidus and some Elamsosaurs could have, it had advantages. You can spy hop to look for prey or incoming predators and occasionally big plesiosaurs may have once in a while prey on small pterosaurs but probably not regularly. the small plesiosaurs that still laid eggs on land would have wasted less energy by not having to push its large neck on the ground and avoid scraping it up. Anyways what do you guys think, stiff necks, or flexible necks that could come out of water?

I think they could be flexible, not super flexible, but sufficient to do that.

Perhaps an occasional peak above the surface, but not too often.

Why not? I think they could do that, but as RexFan said, not very often.
