Welcome to the second day of DeltaFights! This is two dinosaurs from Africa, and I'm willing to bet a lot of money that they did really fight. Anyways, lets meet our competitors. Competitor Profile Eocarcharia Length: 25 feet Height: 7 Hips/Head Weight: 2 tons Weapons: 3 inch hand claws, 3 inch teeth, strong bite Prey: Ouranosaurus, Carrion, young sauropods, whatever it gangs up on Habitat: Preferably Forest, but they venture and hunt by Rivers too Behavior: Eocarcharia is a naturally mean dinosaur. It likes to team up in large packs and go out looking for fights. Its been observed that one pack overwhelmed and killed Carcharodontosaurus. They hold their head at hip height most of the time and it has a fairly stiff neck. It rarely recurved its neck, and even when it does, its short, stiff neck doesn't allow for much addition in height. They have an unusually strong bite, and they also seem to use their claws a lot, which isn't as common in the larger Carcharodontosauriades. When it comes to fighting, they go for a full on frontal attack. They are reckless, and have a small brain for even a Carnosaur. Kryptops Length: 25 feet Height: 7 Hips/Head Weight: 2 tons Weapons: Headbutt, bite Prey: Ouranosaurus, Carrion Habitat: Grassland Behavior: Kryptops normally lives in small packs just like his cousin Aucasasaurus. Despite this, they normally don't hunt fight anything bigger than Ouranosaurus, and they contend with Rugops for scavenging. They may not have the most experience with hunting down big prey, they are ruthless opponents and despite their weight, they can move fairly fast. When it comes down to defending food, Kryptops will shed their normal peaceful image and go into full on fight mode. They have a fairly thick layer of armor on their back, and the rest of them is thick skinned, but there are spots where the skin is thin. The lucky roll of the Dice is: 2, Desert The desert is a hot, dried up forest. There are grey dead trees scattered here and there, but mostly its just gravel and large rocks. Fight!! Its the near the end of the dry season. There has been no rain for months, and what was once a watering hole is now barely a mud puddle. A lone Kryptops is following the scent of something dead after having not eaten is nearly a week. Finally the Kryptops arrives at a barely eaten carcass of a young Paralititan. The Kryptops, not believing his luck, digs into the carcass without thinking about why it is dead. An Eocarcharia is returning from his search for water when he sees the Kryptops eating from the sauropod he killed. The Eocarcharia gives a loud roar and charges the Kryptops. The Kryptops looks up from his meal, roars, then runs at the Eocarcharia. They collide at high speed and both break many bones on impact. They are chest to chest, and the Kryptops's short neck and face allows him to bite the Eocarcharia's back. The Eocarcharia roars and turns his upper body to one side, making the Kryptops let go and stumble away. The Eocarcharia uses his long jaws to grab hold of the Kryptops's neck, but its armor prevents his teeth from doing in far and causing too much damage. The Kryptops shives a violent shake and dislodges the Eocarcharia. The Carcharodontosaur isn't going to give up just because of armor. He runs forwards and hits the Kryptops's throat with his long hand claws. He then rakes then through the flesh, and when it gets to the armor, they just slash right through it. The Kryptops roars in pain and pulls, away from the Eocarcharia, who just follows it while still keeping his claws imbedded in its flesh. A Therizinosaurus us eating from a tree not to far away from the battle. Its long arms and claws bring in branches that haven't been eaten yet, and need a trimming. Therizinosaurus occasionally fight for an area of trees, and the winners get it. They keep their trees very neat and are very picky about things being out of the Therizinosaurus's strange order. The Kryptops finally manages to escape the Eocarcharia's claws, and then it pushes off from the ground and headbutts the Eocarcharia so hard that it is sent flying and hits the Therizinosaurus's tree. The Therizinosaurus rears back in surprise and instinctively lashes out with its claws. They leave very long and deep wounds on the Eocarcharia, and he is already bleeding heavily from them. The Kryptos runs at the Eocarcharia and bites its neck. The Carcharodontosaur roars in pain. A sound which startles the Therizinosaurus and once again it attack. The claws once again leave deep cuts, and one side of the Eocarcharia is pretty shredded up. The Kryptops's short snout doesn't give it a food grip on the Eocarcharia's neck, and the Eocarcharia easily get free. The Eocarcharia swings his head and hits the Kryptops like a baseball bat. It only stuns the Abelisaur, but it is dazed for long enough for the Eocarcharia to bite down on its leg. His teeth and strong bite shred trough the flesh, and he pulls his head back with a huge chunk of meat. The Kryptops roars and then bites down on the Eocarcharia's arm. The Eocarcharia retaliates by biting the Kryptops's neck, but he hits an especially thick piece of armor and breaks some of his teeth. The Kryptops shakes his head around and tears up that arm. The Eocarcharia roars and tries to break free. He finally does but at the cost of most of his arm. As he pulls back, the elbow gives and the Kryptops gets half of the arm, while the Eocarcharia gets the other half. The Eocarcharia roars in agony. He has lost a lot of blood. From the combination of his Therizinosaurus wounds, and his partially missing arm, the amount of blood he is losing is dangerously high, and already the Eocarcharia is exhausted. The Carcharodontosaur isn't going to give up that easily through, and he still knows that he can win this. The Eocarcharia runs at the Kryptops and slams into it. Knocking it over. He then bites the soft underbelly over and over, but can't quite get the the vital organs. Then, the Kryptops kicks him. The Eocarcharia is sent flying back, and breaks many bones. Still, he gets up, which is more than the Kryptops can do. The poor Abelisaur has arms that just get in the way instead of helping, and he is on his side, not his belly, so he can't just stand up. The Eocarcharia runs to the Kryptops and puts his foot on its side. Then he drags his toe claws across the flesh. The Kryptops kicks him again, and against the Eocarcharia is sent flying and again he gets up, but slower this time. The Eocarcharia knows that he will die soon, but he is going to do as much harm as he can before that happens. He once again runs over to the Kryptops and bites down near the the Kryptops's skull, he finds that there isn't any armor there, and his teeth slice through the meat like a hot knife through butter. His bite gets to the vertebra, and he then shakes his head like a shark his teeth dig into and slash the bone. Just then, the Eocarcharia gives a very sudden lurch. His blood level has reached critical levels. He keeps on lurching, and every time he does, his teeth get deeper and deeper in the Kryptops's neck. Finally, his teeth hit the windpipe and they keep going. They cut open the jugular, and finally, they cut the spinal cord. The Kryptops roars one final time and try's in vain to stay alive, but it only brings his death faster. Finally, the Kryptops is dead in the Eocarcharia's jaws. As if death is contagious, the Eocarcharia drops dead of bloodloss, just after the Kryptops did. Winner....... Eocarcharia!! Eocarcharia basically had every advantage. Longer arms, a stronger, deadlier bite, a longer skull, and a viscous additude. The Eocarcharia did die however, so he can't move on to fight in the next round. Another Eocarcharia will be substituted for him

Good fight. The result I expected. Well done.

Good fight! The end is very surprising... they're both dead, so the Eocarcharia didn't win in all senses! :D

As has been said before, the winner was expected. But that doesn't take from the quality of the fight. I give it a solid B+ or A-.
