MemberCompsognathusSep-09-2013 8:55 AMAllosaurus? I thought this took place at the end of the cretaceous... Allosaurus died out over 80 million years before Tyrannosaurus evolved.
Other than that, great story!

MemberCompsognathusSep-09-2013 3:09 PMGood, except for the Late Cretaceous Allosaurus. Allosaurus lived about 150 million years ago(Late Jurassic), not 65 million years ago. The biggest predator in N. America during the late Cretaceous next to Tyrannosaurus was the 16 ft Nanotyrannus(might even be a T-rex).

MemberCompsognathusSep-09-2013 3:37 PMTheir is no other strong predator in the Cretaceous so I pick Allosaurus

MemberCompsognathusSep-09-2013 3:38 PMYeah, the last evidence we have evidence for of an allosaurid in N. America is of Acrocanthosaurus and it lived about 130 million years ago or so.

You could have done a rival Rex tyrant, but hey, it's your story.

MemberCompsognathusSep-09-2013 3:41 PMI was wondering maybe tyrannosaurus x. It may or may not be a T. rex, and is about as light as allosaurus.
