Episode 3 of Clash of Impossibilities Spinosaurus vs Ankylosaurus Spinosaurus One of the largest land predators ever, Spinosaurus was able to use his conical teeth to grip struggling prey and his long claws could inflict hideous wounds. These giants were up to 56 ft long and weighed in at as much as 7 tons! Ankylosaurus With their armor and massive tail club, these herbivores were nearly invincible. At 20-25 ft long and 3-4 tons, they were the largest ankylosaurs ever. To protect their softer stomach, they would crouch low to the ground. Fight A female Ankylosaurus is feeding on some ferns near a river. At the same time, a large Spinosaurus is on his way to the river to catch some fish. Upon arriving, he spots the armored dinosaur immediately. The Spino knows that this herbivore would provide a much more substantial meal than the fish would. He has never hunted an ankylosaur before, but is willing to give it a try. The female notices the approaching spinosaur quickly. She gets as close to the ground as possible. The predator begins to circle the ankylosaur. It does not take much for him to realize that he should stay away from the tail. He lowers his head down and tries to get his snout under the herbivore. She suddenly shoves her body into his face, driving a small spike into his nose. The spinosaur stands back up and roars in pain. He lunges forward and is able to use his long jaws to grab the ankylosaur's front leg. His teeth are not meant for slashing though, and just leave small holes. The bite is still painful and the marks begin to bleed. The spinosaur circles around and tries to place his foot on top of the ankylosaur. He wonders if perhaps he could simply crush it. As he puts his foot down, the herbivore thrusts her body up and drives another spike into his foot. It's a long one and actually goes through his whole foot, the tip sticking out of the top of his foot. The spinosaur is in terrible pain. Every time he tries to put weight on his foot, it hurts very badly. He is enraged and tries a new strategy. Because she raised herself slightly, the ankylosaur's stomach is exposed. The spinosaur rakes his claws across her stomach, causing serious pain. She was able to lower herself in time to minimize the injury slightly, but it's still bleeding pretty badly. The Spino takes a step back and a sharp pain travels up his body as he puts his foot on the ground. He runs forward and slashes the ankylosaurs head. The armor protects her head, but one claw takes out an eye. The half blind ankylosaur bellows. This is when the spinosaur decides to make the final move. He is so determined to kill this ankylosaur, he forgets about the tail club. Coming from behind so that she can't see him, he lunges forward. But she can smell where he is just fine. As he lowers his head to grab her leg and flip her over, she swings her tail with all her might. The club smashes into the spinosaur's skull and breaks it. He falls and hits the ground hard. The badly injured ankylosaur painfully moves on as a group of Nanotyrannus arrive and scavenge the Spinosaurus. Winner- Ankylosaurus The spinosaur was so determined to kill the ankylosaur, that he was not really thinking and put himself in harms way and that ankylosaur took full advantage of that. Next time on Clash of Impossibilities Bayronyx was one of the few spinosaurs found in the northern hemisphere. With it's massive claw and dozens of small, sharp teeth, it would be a formidable opponent. Daspletosaurus was possibly the biggest predator in it's environment. Having to compete with other tyrannosaurs like Gorgosaurus, it would be an expert fighter. Watch as Daspletosaurus goes up against Baryonyx in Clash of Impossibilities.

That is absolutely perfect for it. Now that you are on, it is time to retake over the status board.

Not being a prick or anything, but do you really think people are going to believe in your opinion just by putting " A whopping 7 tons!" I caught that one.

Same thing goes for the length part, you gotta put " in my opinion", dont make it seem as if its a fact, because i definatly believe spino got past 60 ft

Maybe Spino only did weigh 7 tons though. I don't see it being more than 10 tons personally. And I don't see it being past 60 feet. I have said this numerous times before and I will say it again, my opinion is that Spino may not have averaged as big as the one that got bombed in WW2, but that one may have been the only one that was, not sure what to say, strong? tough? heavy? enough to survive millions of years in the desert. It is possible that I am wrong, but opinions are opinions, and this is mine.

FACT DUDE, at this point, just about everyone knows my opinions. So, why bother putting it again and again? Anyways, I'm not trying to convince anyone that I'm right. 56 ft long and 7 tons is big no matter what. The size of either animal was not important to the battle, just a minor detail.

Seven tons is huge. Compared to T. rex, smaller, but T. rex is a dead weight, and smaller is giant for us.

Not entirely sure what the "dead weight" part means Delta, but, ok.

Well i havent been on here for a while, and back when i was on here you still didnt put your opinion in the format im telling you now, so i dont think that part is my fault.

Not saying it's anyone's fault. That time when you were not here I added sizes based on my estimations and theories. After a while, it got a little annoying to have to put that. Hope you understand that. PS- Hope you are not upset that Spino lost. It won in the first season and, depending on how you look at it, won in the second's bonus fight.

I'm pretty sure everyone uses their own opinions. I say "In my Opinion" (or something similar), every so often, but not that much, and everyone is fine with that. I know that you have you're opinions, and I respect (auto correct almost made it reject, stupid IPad auto correct) that.

7 tons looks fine for Spinosaurus, although in my opinion Spinosaurus was heavier than 10 tons, maybe 10-12 tons. But this is just my opinion. Good figth, dude, I agree about Ankylosaurus win.

I thought Spino was around 18-20 tons.

Youre fat, and I'm not sugarcoating it cause you'd probably eat that too.

Spino would destroy an ankyl, I hate  to say i, but this fight is bogus.Sorry. to me, spino would've just been too much for ankyl personally.
