MemberTyrannosaurus RexJun-17-2013 3:28 PMI was wondering what museum people would go to if they could. I would choose the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada. I would go there because it is one of the largest dinosaur museums in the world, it is in the badlands of Alberta, and Drumheller has been called the Dinosaur Capital of The World.http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_EVpXroBNczM/S_NWquSBFzI/AAAAAAAAAIk/ezTDIgNlwKo/s1600/Black+Beauty+TMP.jpg
It is also where the T-Rex named "Black Beauty" is. It was named so because the bones were stained black during the fossilization process.
Does anyone know the name of the museum where they have a Spinosaurus fossil?

MemberCompsognathusJun-17-2013 3:56 PMI have been to: The Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh Pa, The Museum of Natural History in NYC, The Museum of Natural History in Baltimore, and The Smithsonian in DC. The Royal Tyrrell would be cool to visit. The museum in Denver Colorado would be pretty nice to visit as well.

MemberCompsognathusJun-19-2013 5:30 PMI go to the Denver museum almost daily. They have kimmerasaurs on the ceiling all over the place, and they also have one of the only Dimetrodon displays in the world. I also love the Megarachne fossil. I want to go to the one in Canada that Mr. Happy mentioned

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJun-19-2013 5:52 PMThe Royal Tyrrell Museum has Black Beauty, a T-Rex skeleton that was stained black during fossilization. Rex Fan put a picture up, such a nice skeleton. Even S-Rex has to think that is cool.

There are more exhibits than this, but I could only post so many. I highly recommend the museum.

The last one is a life-sized Diplodocus statue in front of the museum. They also have numerous Ice-Age animal skeletons, a few sea reptiles, and many other awesome exhibits. Love the museum and I can not stress how much I recommend it. They have 2 Tyrannosaurus skeletons for all you Rex fans. 3 if you count the cast of Jane they have in the lobby. I think it's a Nanotyrannus, but they have it classified as a young T-rex.
Hope you guys can visit it sometime and hope you like the pics.

It didn't give the museum name, but it said it was in Chiba, Japan.
This is the image S-Rex tried to post.
