Height: 1 foot
Length: 3 feet
Weight: 15 lbs
Weapons: Venemous bite
Speed: 25 mph
Diet: Smaller animals
Description: Sinornithosaurus is the only venomous dinosaur yet described. With long saberteeth that had grooves to channel the poison, it actually had a quite fearsome appearance. The venom would have dripped down the teeth and out of the mouth. It's backwards curving teeth would have been useful for stabbing into prey and not letting go until the venom paralyzed it.
Buitreraptor

Height: 1.5 feet
Length: 5 feet
Weight: 25 lbs
Weapons: Sickle shaped claws
Speed: 45 mph
Diet: Small to medium sized herbivores
Description: A small Dromaeosaur. It behaved very similarly to the more well known Velociraptor, perhaps hunting in packs.
Fight!
A female and male Sinornithosaurus guard their clutch of eggs as the sun begins to set on Isla Sorna. As female falls asleep, the male patrols the nesting ground, making sure no hungry creatures make it to the eggs. All seems well, until he hears his mate call to him in distress. Two hungry Buitreraptor have passed his guard and are trying to get the eggs. The female hisses and squawks at them as the male makes his way back. They aren't attacking yet, but rather trying to avoid the venomous bite of the Sinornithosaurus female. One manages to sneak around her, eying one of the eggs. As it approaches, the male makes the save, jumping from the bushes and taking the striped Buitreraptor male off its feet. As the other more dully colored Buitreraptor male tries to make the save, the female Sinornithosaurus intercepts him, blocking his patch. The larger Buitreraptor, not amused, simply rams into her and knocks her over. He tries to get a fatal kick in with his claw, but the female keeps struggling. Out of frustration, he makes a mistake: he lowers himself close to her mouth. With her long fangs, she clamps down on his shoulder. As he screeches in pain, she pushes him off. Meanwhile, the male Sinornithosaurus and Buitreraptor fight for control over one another. The Sinornithosaurus' arm has been bitten, and the Buitreraptor easily overpowers him. The female Sinornithosaurus, having fought off the dull colored Buitreraptor, comes to her mate's aid. However, her eggs have been left unguarded, and the Buitreraptor successfully grabs one. As he runs away from the nest, however, the venom takes effect and he stumbles, dropping the egg. Landing on soft moss, it doesn't crack. As he lays on the ground, his limbs lose mobility and he begins to die. The other Buitreraptor wrestles the smaller male down once more, having knocked the female aside, but she jumps on his back, managing to bite him. This gives the male Sinornithosaurus the advantage, but the Buitreraptor breaks free and runs for the trees. Having only sustained a small bite, he has a good chance of survival. The egg that was taken is safely put back into the nest, and the male watches the eggs this time, nursing his wounds. Although his arm is fractured and will require healing, it won't hinder him permanently. The female escaped the fight with just a few small cuts and bruises.
