Jurassic Park 4 (Jurassic World) Plot Synopsis

Spino186 Good idea. As far as Spino not getting killed unless something catastrophic happens, how about it is fighting T-Rex (I want the king back in the series with an awesome return), and then an earthquake creates a bunch of holes in the ground (some big, some small) and then T-Rex pushes Spino, it steps in a small hole, breaks it's ankle, and falls down a big hole (all along the coast of the island as a cruise ship sails by and gets sunk by a marine creature). Marine creatures (not technically dinosaurs) seem to be popular, I like the idea, but can't really think of any other way to add them.

WOULD YOU GUYS STOP WITH THE DINOSAUR BATTLES AND DISASTER IDEAS? THERE IS A REASON SUCH STORYLINES ARE CONDEMNED TO THE 3PM SATURDAY AFTERNOON TIMESLOT ON THE SCIFI CHANNEL.

Dude, if you're gonna blast all these other ideas why don't YOU try to come up with a good plot? Yes, some of these are over the top but we're all just having some fun here. In my opinion, dinosaur fights are always cool! I mean you have t-rex vs raptors in JP, raptors vs. raptors in TLW, and rex vs. spino in JPIII. And the disaster ideas? Yeah, I'd rather have people going back to the island than any world-wide catastrophic event. But STOP tearing down everyone else's opinions!!

They need to return to the original island! I also think that the addition of marine reptiles would be cool but... It wouldn't make any sense and wouldn't fit in With the original way they created dinosaurs which was blood that was preserved in amber inside a mosquito but there are no Mosquitos under water so the question would have to be... How did they get the DNA? I want to see the wreckage of the visitors center and the remains of the tour vehicle and the raptor pen. Also they should re visit the idea of the San Diego park. I have also thought that it would be cool if jurassic park 4 was actually a prequel and they showed all of the stuff from the point of the first dinosaur hatching to when John Hammond arrives at the dig site in the original film... That would be cool and then make the movie like 3 or 4 hours of awesome jurassic park fun!

These are all great ideas and I'm glad everyone here seems excited about it. If you're interested in submitting script ideas, write out a plot and submit it to the producers for review. Yours could be in the next movie, game, or book! I myself hope to see a movie that stirred me as the first one did. I remember when I was much younger and saw Jurassic Park for the first time. My entire body trembled with glee and a feeling like I never felt before filled me. I went back to see that movie five more times in theaters every chance I got. I also collected movie cups, toys, shirts, games, cereal boxes.. anything I could get my hands on that was Jurassic Park. The movie to me was art, the music incredible, and the 3D version reawakened that feeling in me when I went to see it. While others might have simply shrugged shoulders, the added tweaks for 3D effects made it almost as memorable as when I first saw it as a child. I'm very much hoping this will turn out to be a well thought out movie that will help bring a rebirth to the Jurassic Park franchise.

My script would be: A boat has stranded on the coast of Isla Nublar by an huriccane. Only seven people survive the huriccane. They must find a radio to connect them to the mainland. But there is one problem, they don't now that they have stranded on an island full of dinosaurs. So they go to the centre of the island where the biggest predators are living. But this time there are more and bigger dinosaurs on the island. Either way, I love to see JP4 next year. I can't wait to see the movie.

I thought of something for the advertisements. I thought the text in advertisement could go like: One man brought three people together 20 years later, his death brought them together again His final request was to have his ashes spread on his island Then disaster strikes Stranded on the remains of a mysterious island They reunite with an old friend Stranded, battling the elements Nothing could seem to be worse But two titans return *The old friend is Muldoon.

All I'm saying is does nobody remember the Barbosol can that the computer guy lost in the first movie? I know it's a small part, but maybe in 4 this could be (found?) or be a piece of the overall plot. For instance, it gets found, and sold to someone, but, the embryos are long dead, but it sparks memory and causes another company to buyout Ingen or something similar. Secondly it would be so awesome in my opinion if they went back to some of the sets from the first movie and had like "flashbacks" like when the raptors chases them through the main building, or where the jeeps wrecked. (it'd be cool if they were still there) Or have Grant find the raptor claw he threw away or have someone else find it and give it to him at the end of 4. I know I might not have spoilers but I think these would be cool little quirks to the movie plot overall. Thx for reading!

I would like to see water dinosaurs. There could have been some secret lab on the opposite side of Isla Nublar where they were creating some water dinos but when the island was destroyed by all the dinos, the hatchlings were released into the ocean. Then somehow later they spread throughout all the oceans. The first scene would be some giant fishing boat out at night and when they try to pull in the net, it gets caught. When they finally get it loose a giant aquatic creature jumps out of the water and destroys the boat. While the boat is sinking, one of the crew members makes a call to the coast guard and any authorities that could help. When the coast guard gets to the spot the call was made, it was too late but there was a giant bite mark in a piece of wood from the ship. Of course they were shocked by their findings so they immediately grab the plank from the water and bring it to the shore for immediate analization......From there you could continue in any direction to make the plot more interesting :)

Ok, this is the leaked script. Isla Nublar is a functional park in present day. everything is just how John Hammond dreamed it would be. the park itself is very seaworld-esq with land AND water dinos. everything is peaceful until a new dinosaur is discovered that is smarter and much more dangerous than the Velociraptors. Now the human survivors must use the T-Rex and Raptors to counter this new threat. THIS IS THE LEAKED SCRIPT.

Heres what I want from JP4. The island isla nublar is becoming a hazard to the world. A group of skilled marines and soldier are sent to exterminate the dinosaur population. Dr. Grant is sent along to guide the group. The mission goes wrong and the group is stranded and fighting for survival. This opens up epic fights with guns and dinosuars.

The dinosaurs adapt to aquatic terrain. They escape both Islas, reach Florida, and begin to conquer North America, east to west. But the jurassic reptiles turn out to have been developing unstable DNA, which would cause all of those who have any contact (being breathed on, scratched on, or even bit) with dinosaurs to develop dinosaur-like characteristics, features, and minds, ending up in a dinosaur/human hybrid, caused by DNA fusion (particles in breath, cells from claws/skin, saliva that soaked into the human system). Or they could expand on John Sayles' concept and relate it to a bigger plot. Either way, Mr. Stemcell 'Dinosawr' Missinglink has to explain it.

does anybody else think that the story should be focused on the raptors? in jp3 grant said they were really smart then it showed you them in action on sorna, but how smart. smart enough to get off the island? bringing me back to jp1 when muldoon was talking about the raptors at the feeding pen.. he said that when she came in she took over the pride and killed but 2 of the others but what if they actually went missing and he said that to keep ingens noise clean so theyd sign off on the park. him, hammond, Dr Wu and ray arnold knew about this and kept it quiet because Dr Wu didnt think theyd survive off the island. now theyve started getting sightings of them on the mainland and animals and humans turning up dead. maybe not escaped off the island. bit out there, what they going to do? fly a chopper? but mayby they were transported somewhere or eggs where stolen from the facility before.and not just raptor eggs. jthats where Dr Grant, malcolm and satler come in to investage. tells me what you think??

I'm all for fans being excited and throwing ideas around, but a lot of them I'm reading here are terrible (nothing personal). There's a lot of stuff that's already been done, say, in The Lost World, and there's a lot of just bad ideas, like dinosaurs and humans coexisting, and some kind of Earthly cataclysm. First off, if you haven't already, go read the books. They're amazing, and personal favorites of mine. Secondly, I think it's important for the integrity of the franchise to stay within the realm of science. I don't care if some people think dinosaurs with feathers can't be scary; dinosaurs had feathers, and the whole idea of Jurassic Park is that these are "real" dinosaurs. (This also mean no man-dinos, please.) Now, I must say that I do like the idea of incorporating aquatic species somehow. I also think the concepts of evolution or extinction are completely plausible. Life found a way, so the logical continuation is that now the dinosaurs are evolving into new [actual] species that Ingen did not hand pick, or that they're going extinct again via unexploited theories like coextinction and the extinction vortex. With this latter idea, mad men taking up Hammond's--who's dead by the end of the first book, so I want him buried in a new movie--helm refuse to accept the destiny of the dinosaurs to ultimately die out, and create new ones. This idea would also leave the movie open to add or revamp any dinosaur species. It wouldn't be Jurassic Park without a scientific and/or mathematical theory for Malcolm to go "I told you so" with in the end. (III gets a pass because they added elements from the first book excluded from the first movie.) Just, for the love of god, I don't want to see dinosaurs running around and destroying cities. The worst thing that can happen is to turn it into a monster movie, or to go in an apocalypse direction.

Some of these suggestion are really out there !! I aways wondered what happened after the team flew out of JP1, I mean the powers back on, most of the fences are once again working and various control systems are in place. How about its based on few weeks after the first movie and a team is send back to save the project, there task is to secure the remaining creatures, repair the damaged fences and clean up the damage. i would love to see the park again, the fences the remaining undamaged cars etc. now i would want big team send in, not a silly 6 man crew. I mean the right type of team, ingen security, engineers, team leaders with the right gear and skills to fix this mess. Of course it's easy to think of problems that could come up. We could she much more of the island, the JP buildings and equipment that didn't appear in JP1. Think of the various things that you could build in, a garage with 10 brand new JP tour jeeps, the ingen security team fighting and capturing the t-Rex, Ingen engineers repairing the damaged fences , making improvements to fences, agreeing that raptors are just to dangerous to bring back to the park.

what if dodson from jp1 was a former ingen employee and thats how him and nedry knew one another. he stole embryos from nublar before back when he was on the payroll. hammond and ingen found out about this but kept it hush hush.so he pays nedry to get him more for a rival company hes working for.. malcolm hears rumours of other dinosaur activity and visits hammond for answers wondering how this could happen, hammond pulls out the files on dodson and tells him everything, maybe tie it in with TLW as well maybe that hammonds nephew peter was working for this rival company and visited site b( under cover as ingen ceo) because dodson only stole carnivour embryos and they needed herbivours so sent him to capture them. needs alot of work i know. could be interesting though. not really sure how to continue. weather the dinos start appearing on the mainland? another island? or that some more activity on nublar or sorna looking for more or whatever?. let me know what yous think and maybe improve/continue plot

OK, I'm gonna type this up quick because last time I did, it took me a half an hour and it logged me out some tome while I was typing and it didnt allow me to post it so: Start off with a flashback to an investigation of the original JP incident. One agent discovers the embryos that Dennis Nedry was never able to deliver. Few years later a new company launches its own parks (including "water parks") across the world despite the advise by Alan not to The park claims to have trained the dinos to be docile and to have them properly caged, when in reality they are using drugs on the dinos. Ala, being paraniod moves to ca to get a job at the park outside of San Fran. When all is well and Alan is finally geting comfortable withthe dinos, an earthquake happens. This Spooks the dinos and causes power outages that allow the dios to escape. without the drug, the dinos return to their normal carnivorous selves. The millitary is called in and forms a barracade around the parks exits small dinos and herbivores go first and get slaughtered. finally, the trexes and spino break out and punch a hole in the barracade, not together, because they hate eachother. The one Spino(at this park) dies in the process. This causes even more types of dinos to escape . the raptors, being smart search for other ways to escape such as the sewers an begin to leak out all over the city its up to Alan to escape these horrors and get to safety in the mountains because its too cold there for the dinos to survive. In the end he escapes and makes it too the mountains. The audio o a news broadcast saying that the dino menace has been dealt with plays followed by reports of other escaped dinos all across the world for various reasons all meanwhile the video of a raptor is being played. the raptor walks by a nest(emphasized by a close up on the nest) and joins the others for a feast on their newly killed triceratops, suggesting that multiple dinos escaped the slaughter. The end.

I'd like to see an island up and running teaming with dinos and tourists. Another massive storm hits the island, but it's sabotage that knocks out all the power and backup systems this time. The next morning begins the all you can eat buffet. An epic, all star cast getting shredded. The rivals send in a team, in the midst of all the chaos, to finally steal what they need to start their own park. Will they make it? That's up to the writers.

For 20 years, Isla nublar has sat there, quietly, undisturbed. As a Group of scientist and Navy seals sent there to research the creatures are about to find out, The creatures that have inhabited have fed off of a chemical hormone that has manifested in the dinosaurs sources of food and water, causing them to grow and mutate into bigger and more dangerous prehistoric monsters. With there food sauce dying due to the extinction of all herbivores, The carnivores are forced to resort to cannibalism and do anything to survive. If you see a dinosaur, you can bet its not a "Vegiesaurus". That's my take on Jurassic park 4 (Jurassic world). Can't wait to here the official script. Hope some of my and many other peoples ideas have been incorporated into the final draft. I'm sure it will be great either way.

I love the idea of prehistoric marine reptiles, but how would that work seeing that they get the DNA from Mosquitos preserved in tree sap. Although it's a good idea, it's not practical. Also I think it'd be cool to see dinosaurs rampaging through the city. Imagine the raptor scenes in like supermarkets or something. I reckon they need more dinosaurs and not just focus on raptors, trex, and spino again. That's just my option though

Hi guys, can't wait for JP4. I think that the plot should be based around the tell tale game. By doing this it would show a new prospective of the events in the first movie by introducing new characters. it could also take place in some areas of the park that so far have been unseen, for example an aquarium? amusement park? This would also allow the writers to close some of the unanswered questions from JP1, such as what happened to the cylinder that Nedry dropped when he got attacked? what ever the plot turns out to be, I just hope they get it right and JP4 is the best film ever. I agree that it should rated above PG13, aiming more towards adults, and I to would like to see Malcolm return in some way.

Here's my input... It's present day. Isla Nubla and Isla Sorna have been kept at arms length for years. Whilst people are not allowed to the islands they are both still monitored by various government groups to keep an eye on any potential threats to human safety should anything get off the island. And indeed there have over time been a lot of high profile 'incidents' which have caused concern to many people across the world. This causes much debate within public life about what should be done with the islands. Some believe everything on the island should be destroyed, others believe the animals have a right to exist but changes need to be made to ensure they cannot get of the island again. There have been no casualties or injuries as a result of escapes but although there are reported sightings and there have been escapees, the general consensus from Costa Rican and US governments is that they are dealing with the issue in the correct manner. It is often reiterated that there have been no casualties off the islands since the San Diego incident. Problems start when a Costa Rican village is attacked by pterodactyls killing one man and making another seriously sick (he later dies of his illness) coupled with another worrying event three days earlier when a fishing boat vanished off the Isla Sorna coastline. Later body parts of the crew are found. This is brought to the attention of the public so more pressure than ever is put on the governments involved. More worrying is the fact that one of the two men involved in the pterodactyl attack died from an unknown disease which appears to be highly contagious as now increasing numbers of hospital staff who dealt with the victims are coming down with the illness. It comes to light through one of the groups in charge of monitoring the island that although population grew on the island for a long time it has recently decreased rapidly. It looks like a second extinction of the dinosaurs is in full flow. The government, along with the ever evasive InGen are forced to admit that the disease is likely to be a genetic mutation of a cellular disease which was built in to every creature they created on the islands which would become active to limit their population growth should the population grow out of control (it is also strongly suggested that the mutation was happening prematurely in the park in the first movie and the triceratops in JP was one of the first victims). However, once it is pointed out that Alan Grant reported encountering a spinosaurus on Isla Sorna, a creature that there is no record of ever having been created, InGen are then forced to admit that due to pressure from authorities after the original incident at JP, Isla Sorna was quickly closed down and the island was abandoned. The result of the panic and abandonment was that the fast increasing variety of species being created were not documented properly and even if they were the data no longer exists. InGen have to admit that they have no clue of how many unknown species are on the island and have kept quiet this long due to the legal ramifications of their misconduct. Due to the data gathered concerning the dwindling numbers of dinos (considered to be sick and dying) on the island, it is considered safe to send a team to each island to determine what is there, what is dead and try to discover anything that could help with developing a cure for the mystery disease. Of course, all hell breaks lose and lots of death and stuff happens. However, justification for name name Jurassic World comes when it is discovered that although the dino disease has killed many dinos, contributing to the dwindling population, it is also discovered that far more of the animals have escaped (the ones that can, i.e flyers and swimmers) as the dinos themselves are trying to get away from the disease. More sinister still is that they discover that somebody has been taking dinosaurs from the island right under the authorities noses. The question is who, what have they taken and where are they now...???!!! END ...sequel!! Well that's my idea. I apologise for any bad spelling or grammar but what do you think? Sorry if it is a bit long winded too!! If somebody has done this one alreadyI apologise also, I haven't read them all.

Wow, this topic is still kicking, that's pretty good. I've written a few plot ideas and posted, so i won't get into any ideas.

I personally enjoyed the Rex rampage in the city scene.
