Dodge.... Ranger......? You're either thinking Dodge DAKOTA, or FORD Ranger.
I prefer Dodge myself (My dad drives a Ram 2500 Mega Cab 4x4), with GM as a near second. I've always liked Dodge, and my Jeep is a Chrysler, being Jeep and all. If it's Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram or Plymouth, it's good to me (as long as it isn't a van, I hate vans from all companies).
i get kids coming in a the time looking for a job...and that's mainly cuz Fast food basically always hires. A high turn over rate too....So they're always accepting new kids. I myself just hired 2..most kids, this is an entry level job that sets them up for greater oppurtunity in the future.
I'm aware it's slang raptor, but when its used to describe something some one doesn't like...its annoying, ya know?
Yah, a lot of my friends call things "gay" when they know it isn't. It's sort of become a slang, well it is a slang, but now it's forming into ANOTHER slang term.
Well I know some people who you wouldn't say they would be qualified to even become a cashier, but realize that what if you were to somehow end up with a job flipping burgers and such? Just don't call them stupid or anything, I like to call them "Unisnpired"...
Dodge is "mainstream" nowadays, i think that's why it's "gay" to this kid. I have an '04 dodge ranger, and i love it. not really the best on gas, but still reliable.
Truly, there are those kids who are just...not the brightest light bulb. They come in almost every day and can't really even use proper english, saddening.
That's putting it lightly my friend.
No need to be so insulting, Mr. happy..
I know the origin of SWAG, and it was a little more than just gay clubs.
That's kinda cool that you're manager at a Taco Bell. I'm related to a woman who is manager of 5 Tim Hortons in my area. Haha, I got a Timmies gift card for Christmas, and my parents got a Tims coffee mug.
Some of the people I know are LITERALLY TOO STUPID to work at McDonalds, and the ones that have a shot at making it big in the flipping burgers industry (and by big I mean a tad bit more than minimum wage) would spend all their money on pot.
One idiot I know (who is about 4 feet tall and lives in a small house) wants to get a Chevy Silverado 2500 Duramax lifted (he could just get a factory Ram 2500, but Dodge is 'gay' according to him). The kid is one of the people who is too stupid to work a McDonalds, and he wants a $20 000 truck that would be a major bitch on fuel.
Some people in my school are actually PROUD and luagh when they get a D on a test.
Gentlemen, Its frowned upon now to consider your future or even consider something outside of the work of spitting on someones big mac...
If your working it now because its the first or only job that came to you, Take pity on the souls around you, and find the job you love to come to work every day.
I try to explain to teens, (In my grade im the only one with a vocabulary expanded past the word of "Swag") That theres something greater to this than just checking you god damned instagram every minute in class...
Its really nice to know, that There are more people like me in the world... I get tired of trying to explain the time line of the earth to idiots...
I go to a private school, so luckliy there aren't many people that are concerned about being popular and yell swag and yolo all day.
FUN FACT
SWAG originates from the early 1900s and stands for "Secretly we are gay" It was used to attract men to gay clubs and some bands would put it to let people know they were gay. I found this out a while ago.
THE MORE YOU KNOW.
So when someone ever says they got swag, just say yes...
@ mr.Happy i work at a Taco bell, and i'm a manager.i can tell you it's one of the most demanding jobs i've ever worked.
The whole swag and yolo thing, it bugs the hell out of me. Absolutely hate it.
Told a kid the other day to pull up his pants, i didn't wanna see his underwear -_-
Thanks. How do you like how the end of the post connected with the Carno's profile?
I know. It always bugs me that people are more concerned with getting laid than getting a solid career. Swag and Yolo and all that other crap. How can we get better technology if all the scientists are dead and we live in a society filled with morons who are too stupid to flip burgers at McDonalds?
Thanks, I wanted to update it...
I think that schools should focus more on Jobs such as paleontolgy. I recently heard something about how their isn't enough Engineers, technicians, scientists, ETC. I think its beacause the group who has the option like this is blowing it off because they're not taking it seriously...
It takes less to be a hot dog vendor than it does to be an engineer.
Its been about two years since I was last at drum, I think a summer job there would be a dream come true.
good fight, nice seeing old cerato pull one out once in a while!
Oh, and Paden, you have the worlds largest Dinosaur living fifteen minutes away from you! Haha
The Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto? I went there in in grade 5. I remember the T-Rex skeleton like I was there yesterday. There was a touch screen at the front of the Rex, to the left of its skull. The thing gave an outdated weight, something like 6 tons I believe.
I remember that, but not what I had for breakfast. At least I've got my priorities straight.
Nice Forum Signature, I completely agree.
I live in Indiana where no dinosaur bones have been found :(
Also, Mr.Happy, Ontario has one of the biggest (Other the tyrell in drumheller) Dinosaur museums in the world...
I dont remember all of them, But there was many apotasaurus.
Living in New Mexico so we have a good supply of fossils.
We have,
-Saurophaganax
-Coelophysis
-Stegosaurus
-Seismosaurus
-T-Rex
-Bistahievosaur
-Diplodocus
-Camarasaurus
-Chasmosaurus
-Parasaurolophys
-Dilophosaurus
We also had Ice age animals like,
-Mastadons
-Smilodons
-Dire Wolves
-Those giant camel things I don't know the name of.
Hmm, Well, I live about fifteen minutes on a good day away from The Royal Tyrell Museum in Drumheller, Alberta.
This is one of the most famous Dinosaur musuems in the world, The likes of Jack Horner have dug up here.
Im so close to the bad lands, We've dug fossils out of the creek bed at my ranch. (Sadly, Just shells and a fragments of an animoite)
Alberta and the most of canada was under water... So thats where the shells probably come from, having studied Paleontolgy a lot, I theroize that there was either a river bed here originally, Or these were picked up by the glacier and deposited here.
Alberta alone has waaay to many dinosaur species to list them all. I'll list a few though:
Triceratops
Edmontonsaurus
The king, Tyranasaurus rex
Ankylosaurus
The famed Velociraptor as well as many more dromeasaurs
Stegosaurus
Yup, I live in an area with most the famed childhood dinosaurs we grew up with...
I'm right there with you raptor. Still a good fight I like the Ending with the Rex versus the pack of Allosaurus's.
I didn't realise that so many people would be rooting for Acro. Interesting.
Nice fight. I was rooting for Ceratosaurus.
Those are all great, but I agree, Primal's was amazing.
Dang, I was rooting for Carnosaurus.
I'm not sure what dinosaurs lived in Southern Ontario.
Well I live in Arkansas and the only dino recorded here was Arkansaurus.
But here are some dinos in neighboring staes that were probably in Arkansas.
-Acrocanthosaurus
-Tyrannosaurus
-Torosaurus and Chasmasaurus
-Iguanodon
-Deinonychus
-Alamosaurus
-Stegoceras
-Tenontosaurus
-Kentrosaurus
-Pawpawsaurus
-and many more
Yah, I might do that with the third installment of my story. Get more fans from anyone from other forums.
I think Arizonasaurus and possibly DImetrodon even though it wasn't a dinosaur, but hey, it's still prehistoric.
I was rooting for Acro... Good fight, though.
I live in Florida, so I don't have any dinosaurs, which makes me a little sad. BUT, I did have Megalodon and possibly Basilosaurus swimming through my backyard :D
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Acro is one of my favorite dinos!
Oh well...
I see how Primal King won. His is incredible.
Sadly, none for me. :( Michigan was an ocean. Hey, at least we have mastadons! :D
well, here in nevada, we don't have much as far as dinosaurs go. We do have some giant aquatic monsters though, such as:
Shonisaurus, The devoian bony fish Aleosteus, and a variety of Ammonites.
My personal opinion is post them on both. But that's just me. I'll admit I check Jurassic World more often than the fansites.
