ULTRAZERO80 - When I saw the image, I was amazed! :)
This is so freaking cool. The Dark Lord of our prehistoric planet.
DK - I feel this little animal might very well have been a strange fluke of evolution, indeed! History is filled with them! :)
ALPHADINO65 - I agree! :)
I thought you were going in this direction:

Halszkaraptor escuilliei appears to be an anomaly or a strange evolutionary link. given its estimated age, it appears to further support evolution. Thanks- nice find!
Something Real What are your thoughts?
^Spinosaurus aegyptiacus?
I'm guessing it's either that JPIII abomination or the Buck from TLW:JP.
They aren't killing Rexy though, at least not right there. We see Rexy in the cage in the teasers, that's obviously after the whole Volcano thing. Remember the Volcano sequence happens in the first 30-40 minutes of the movie.
Hoping Rexy survives, killing Rexy would be like killing Luke Skywalker, not cool. The Island being destroyed is kinda cool because that's what they did in the book. The Rex didn't survive in the book, but hey, no one went back to save any dinosaurs in the book either, so here's to hoping.
I think in this sense, the director was wanting you to think that the T-Rex had gotten out, eaten the crew, and then in a last heroic effort they managed to get him back inside. buy assignments online uk However, this is not really plausible and I think it is just one of those movie goofs.
I had the same thoughts as you when I first watched the movie. I always wondered how the crew was eaten and torn to pieces with the T-Rex still locked in the cargo hold of the ship. buy assignments online uk With him in there, he could not be the one responsible for eating the crew although the dead man's hand on the button would make you think that they had put him back in there.
Danzilla93,
I have similar feelings. The explosion seemed like it took out a lot of the dinosaurs in the immediate area--If Rexy survives, then how? I'm not sure I like the idea either, but on paper it seems like a good one in that it's both daring and over-the-top. But if they do this it needs to have ramifications for future films--They have got to get these stories off Isla Nublar and Sorna.
Danzilla93
Nah, they won't do that, killing Rexy off is like killing Godzilla off.
Really excited about this, for anyone wondering this is actually only like the first 30 minutes of the movie. After this it turns into a horror kind of movie involving them on the Island trying to rescue dinosaurs after the explosion. This is where the bulk of the movie takes place and the Indoraptor comes into play.
I have to admit, the idea of seeing Isla Nublar, Jurassic Park itself, destroyed so utterly is honestly leaving me disturbed. That island IS my childhood, a place that has fueled my imagination ever since I saw the original film as a kid. It's a place of wonder where creatures I always dreamed of meeting could actually exist. The idea of paying money to go see it wiped off the face off the Earth leaves me... heartbroken. It'd be like be like going to a Star Wars film in which the Millennium Falcon blows up, or a Lord of the Rings film only to see The Shire flattened by a meteor.
I'm still excited for this film, and have every intention of watching the hell hour of it as close to opening night as I can. But I'm nervous about getting shot right through the childhood, so to speak...
All I have to say is... if they dare kill Rexy, I'll freaking leave the theater. Probably in tears.
You've been warned, Universal.
"...had flippers and could swim like a penguin..."? Huge jump to conclusion, we don't know if it actually could swim like that. And since it had such long legs, there would be much more drag.
Still, it' a nice find.
Well, who couldn't have seen this coming? With so many eggs discovered, at least SOME othe embryos had to be well-preserved!
OMG Rexy vs Carnotaurus! Love it!
^
Brachio sounded the same for me.
Great trailer. I loved the amount of species shown. The CGI was already better than JW.
(But am I the only one who didn’t like the way the Brachiosaurus sounded?)
How is this even possible?

uh wow movie... uh spoilers alert.... uuhhhhhhh the next thing you're going to tell is that...uuuhhh... dinosaurs in the movie uuuuuhhhh... won't have uuuhhhh.... feathers.
Owen: this is gonna be awesome!
And I agree!
Looks way better than JW Rexy
The fact that they are rescuing what is in my opinion the deadliest terrestrial carnivore makes me worry about the quality of this film.
Apparently you're right: it is the Baryonyx. It was confirmed in a newly-released screenshot of that exact scene today.
At 0:36 of this video, it shows it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbzMFe8y17w
Is it just me or the Baryonyx looks T.rex size? or is just the perspective?
~~That's a duck dud, clickbait~~
Baryonyx looks really good.
Yes! It is coming soon, this week or this weekend.
^Putting the harassment aside, I still think the characters are bland and annoying, and the movie distracts us from itself with subplots.
Great stuff! Really enjoyed the story thus far! Is there going to be a part 9?
Godzilla awake?
So you now hate the movie because of the harassment? No offense but that's pretty stupid, I would honestly just ignore them. But hey its your opinion so what can I do?
There you go people! there's your precious animatronic!
