It definatley was a bad movie. I've seen worse, but it was pretty bad. There are good things about it though. I like the design of the Spinosaurus, even it's fight scen caused a controversy, and I like that they finally added the Pteranodons.

Still, I dislike JP3. 

It it is a bit more fun with you around.

I'm guessing the reason the spino killed, the rex in JP 3 is because... Jack Horner has said on multiple occasions he hates tyrannosaurus. No idea why. He just hates it. 

Or Sue was very muscular. Afterall, muscle weighs more than fat.

Well still, sometimes life is better when you aren't so negative about something.

Aw, I think I'm officially back to being a regular now, I forgot how fun it was to debate over things on the forums, and gathering up sme posts in a short period of time. Remind sme, forgot to put some details on my trip in my last discussion...

See, i see  The estimates of 9.1-10.0+ tons  estimates as too high - as those models seem to have Sue being very fat. Like wise the original estimates of 7 tonnes seems to be too light, and skinny. 

Scott Hartman's estimate of 8.4 tonnes, sounds very reasonable, therefore "Celeste" would be pushing 9 tons, maybe a little bit more.

It does, and then it kills the suspense with something stupid. Communicating with raptors? C'mon. The ones from JP and TLW would kill you for looking at them funny. 

I hate the movie, nothing is going to change that. 

Like I said, sometimes you should just look at the good at a movie. It does have some suspense every here and then.

They had a cool rifle (Barrett M82A2), they.............. Ummmmm........ Dang, can't really think of any other reason I'd watch the movie. Perhaps as a reminder as to why I hate it and kill an hour and a half. Hey, there's a positive about JP3, it was half an hour shorter than the others. It was terrible, so they didn't make it as long.

Maybe the Rex was just and outcast of the group, after all enw theory shows Rexes may have been more coordinated thatn once thought.

Actually, if you check my site, there is no 50 ft estimate anymore. It's now 40-46 ft and 7-10 tons.

(If Sue was 9 tons at 42 ft, then a 45 ft Rex would easily be 10 tons)

Yeah, but one day I plan to disprove some of the things taht aren't so wrong in JP 3.

Or didn't meet Rex at all. C'mon, the damn thing destroyed a fraking plane. We get it, don't mess with this bugger. Horner took it one step further and made the Rex a wimp. Hate to say it, not trying to start anything, but that Rex was a wimp. 

Celeste is based on field guesses made by no other then Jack horner. He said something about Celeste being 10% bigger then Sue, which would put her ~ 43-45 feet long. 50 feet is an overexaggeration. That being said, a 45 foot rex would weigh close to nine tons. I haven't seen any other info regardeing "c-rex" other then the field estimates

Yeah, I still think in a way JP 3 still had some little JP feel to it...

@Hipho, that might have caused less controversy.

He had too much say in the movie. Anyone can name an island Isla Sorna, have Sam Niell play a character named Alan Grant, talk a tiny bit about dinosaurs, and slap the Jurassic Park name on the movie's box.

Well stated Mr. Happy. I bet if I had a group of 3 Velociraptors take down a T-Rex, people would be like "Really? Eh, whatever." But no if Spino did it...

MrHappy, I think its because of their rivalry. If JP 3 didn't have spino kill rex nobody would care then. 

Just pointing this out, but the only reason anyone actually gives a damn is because there have been people and are people who would blow up just because one beat the other. If it was Carchar taking out one of them, nice job. If it was Rex taking out Spino or vies versa, that's when people would get pissed. It makes no sense really.

Do what you feel is right, and that's all that matters. In the end, it's just an opinion, and it's just for fun. Nothing more, nothing less.
