This is me right now (until 0:23)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcA0sKuGcEI

And T.rex is BACK!!!!

And we do get a better look at D.rex at 0:44.  You can see some of one of her long claws in the centre of the screen (and yeah it's blurry, but so is everything else), her whole anterior view looks bigger than a T.rex (thank you Wu), but the tell-tale sign is her teeth.  Look very carefully; her bottom central incisors are much longer than her other teeth, like oh, I don't know...A SNAKE!!!!!

She is D-REEXXXX!!!

Something RealJurassic Park ForumThe T.rex and Spino: Why Were They So Close To Each Other?

REX FAN 684 - What a very interesting premise! Hmm. You know, I've actually never given this aspect much thought? Looking at it from the perspective that the animals were "genetically engineered, theme park monsters", I'd say they were so close together because they didn't know any better ("Oh, bloody hell! This is your territory, old boy? Would you fancy a share? No; you want the whole thing, do you? Alright. Let's bite away at each other, then. That usually solves these sorts of problems."). On the other hand, if Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus was indeed the massive, land-going super predator that some speculate, it's possible it was a marauder and simply roamed wherever it pleased - pillaging whatever it wanted regardless of territorial bounds! Perhaps it even searched for the territories of other predators in order to take advantage of kills and unobservant theropods! :)

@Primal King

Due to the lack of Info Provided by Stephen Speilburg, I've been forced to go with Book Cannon over Movie Cannon on that.

As so. They're not 100% Dinosaur. That's littearlly, Impossible. We can't acheive that, And we never will. (Unless in the Invention of a Time Machine but Shh... Thats laters talks)

They carry A Large, Amphibean DNA Chunk. For the sake of having them Turn out Dinosaur looking, It's somewhere from 60-40, To 90-10.

The Genetics is the problem. It produces a Dinosaur, Yes... But it isn't a real dinosaur.

LeviathanTeratophoneusFeroxJurassic World ForumI Found The Mosasaur Size!!!

The mosasaurs are not related to pliosaurs or plesiosaurs in any way, just look at the tree branch.

As for it's weight, it sounds reasonable. I always took the mosasaurs around the 12-18 ton...but any higher would be hard for me to believe. Could this creature be up to 70ft in length? I don't think so.

But anyways about the movie, it's said that the mosasaurus is a female. I wonder if she'll be shown killing anybody. ;)

Well according to Jack horner, it was a scavenger (but we all know that all theropods or most active carnivores scavenge), so which this theory probably lead to the reasoning Rex was close to Spino.

Primal KingJurassic Park ForumThe T.rex and Spino: Why Were They So Close To Each Other?

Lol, paden. As for the monsters thing, they are still technically dinosaurs, just slightly hybridized ones. Like the T. rex is still a T. rex, just maybe a Tyrannosaurus rex-nublarisis. Slightly changed, but only slightly.

I wrote an analysis but then scified logged me out -_- lol

Please WATCH  the video before reading it!!!

All you need to know about this blurry trailer is that it does show:

T-rex (Which I think will probably die from D-rex given T-rex is not the star of the show no more and is not the main antagonist...but that's just what I think will happen)

Pterosaurs (Which looks like they start the chaos first) The helicopter has "Security of NRC, chris's orginization?"

Brachiosaurus

D-rex (Which stop on some clips especially the beginnig clips of D-rex, he's white like his lego design)

There's a scene of a large theropod which could be a suchomimus, but it's most likely D-rex

Raptors (Which begs the question if those raptor's of chris are part of jurassic world or not? If not, is their world using raptors like dogs? Or Chris a secret agent working for jurassic world to maintain or capture inturding or escaped dinosaurs. Keep in mind at the jurassic world website, the whole island is not the park)

I have the a paper on S. meekerorum that i just found...I'll post info and a link..

"Holotype. FMNH (Field Museum of Natural History) PR
2716, partial postcranial skeleton of immature individual
including portions of the axial column, pelvic girdle and hind
limb (Fig. 1). Immaturity of the holotype is evident from lack of
neurocentral fusion across the axial series except in distal
caudals. Select measurements are provided in Table 1.
Referred specimen. FMNH PR 3059, a mid-caudal neural
arch and chevron, a pedal phalanx and several indeterminate
bone fragments."

Diagnosis. Large-bodied allosauroid exhibiting craniocaudally
expanded centrodiapophyseal laminae yet lacking welldeveloped
infradiapophyseal fossae on proximal caudals*
(autapomorphy) (Fig. 2i); craniocaudal elongation of
craniodorsal centra (Fig. 2a); abbreviated, transversely broad
neural spines on dorsal vertebrae (neural spine height B50%
maximum height of centrum) (Fig. 2d,e); transversely
flattened, axially concave ventral surface yielding subtriangular
cross-section on distal caudal vertebrae (autapomorphy)
(Fig. 2j,k); transversely concave acetabular rim of iliac
pubic peduncle (autapomorphy) (Fig. 3a); truncated
lateral brevis shelf with notched caudal end (autapomorphy)
(Fig. 3a); brevis fossa with subparallel mediolateral margins;
supraacetabular crest truncated above midpoint of acetabular
rim (Fig. 3a).

* it's a neovenatorid based on what we have of that branch..

incoming measurements in milimeters(mm)

Ilium Max. preserved length 835
Fibula Max. preserved length 461

Now, in contrast the Fibula of N. salerii was  618 mm

http://fossilworks.org/bridge.pl?a=taxonInfo&taxon_no=64120

Cannot find the ilium length on Neovenator, but yeah.

Contrasting this, the 1st and 5th caudal vertebrate are correspondingly larger then those of N. salerri; as Gigadino pointed out.

"..Phylogenetic analysis. We recover Siats as a carcharodontosaurian
allosaurian (Fig. 4) based largely on the extent and
nature of pneumatic features, which include pleurocoels on dorsal
and likely also on sacral vertebral centra, and honeycombed or
‘camellate’ interior pneumaticity, as well as alariform morphology
of dorsal hyposphens and peg and socket ilio-ischial articulation.
The presence of tab-like lateral extensions on the dorsal
postzygapophyses (Fig. 2e) and externally piercing pneumaticity
of the prezygapophyses (Fig. 2b), prominent centrodiapophyseal
laminae on caudal neural arches (Fig. 2h), and presence of a
preacetabular cuppedicus shelf (Fig. 3a) posit Siats as a member
of the subclade Neovenatoridae. A placement within the subclade
Megaraptora is supported by pronounced centrodiapophyseal
laminae bracketed by deep infradiapophyseal fossa on the caudal
neural arches (Fig. 3h), which we interpret as homologous with
the condition observed in Aerosteon26 and Megaraptor25. A
Bremer support value of 45 indicates strong support for a
monophyletic Neovenatoridae including Siats (Fig. 4b). Siats
remains labile within Megaraptora, largely due to lack of skeletal
overlap between select taxa.."

S. meekerorum FMNH PR 2716(catalogue #)  3,917(kg) FL 1,166(mm)

3,917kg translates to 8,8635.51lbs or ~ 4.3 tons( just so everyone knows)

If isometry with A. atokensis is correct, This immature specimen would measure ~10.8 meters

Juvenile? certainly not.

Subadult? looks like it; besides, the paper didn't actually make that claim of it being a juvenile, that was only repeated by media outlets.

Fun fact, this makes S. meekerorum the third largest theropod taxon in North America that we know of. Seeing we have othing on Carcharodontosauridae growth rates, i find it implausible(impractical) to state anything much more then 12 meters, especially if it was a subadult.

Well, 9 m for Siats is kinda low. The specimen we've got is most likely 11-12 m,  Look:

x_paden_xJurassic Park ForumThe T.rex and Spino: Why Were They So Close To Each Other?

There's got to be a Logical Explanation here.

Keep in mind, These are Genetically created Monsters that Resemble dinosaurs.

It doesn't Nessicerly Mean they'll fall into set territories or hunting Patterns.

It's imagined Masrani Perfected the genetics to make them Closer to Dinosaurs then before, this as to make them more lethal in JW.

Although hammond came far, He probably was a little off.

Thus, The fact that these Two Predators do not know to Avoid eachother.

It's a Genetic Fault, They were never intended to Mix and mingle, The fences were never meant to go out.

As well, Instincts are probably a Factor here, Right?

Wrong.

Spino and Rex are from two different eras, Lets say the Instinct carried over in the Blood Samples, Rex still wouldn't know better than to avoid Spino, Because rex was one of the largest Predators in Creataous North america.

It had little to No actual Rivalries for it to worry over.

Same goes for Spino.

They don't know what this other Species is. However, They are intreading on eachothers Territories. That's something they do have an Instinct for.

Thusly, the begin fighting.

See, It's not always "Movie Logic"

hey Rex fan. Do some resaearch, they are all related. Also the Mosasaur shown in the trailer is incredibly huge and I may say rather unrealistically huge and would weigh much more than 15 tonne. Anyhow these pliesaurs ate anything they wanted too as they were the largest carnivores that we know about.

i have a feeling that our friend Mosasaur could end up having a DRex snack at the end of the film.......

There were so many great looking scenes there. Can't wait for the real thing to be released. Was that the rex? way to blurry to tell. The wait for this movie will be the death of me.

The 12 meter Siats is based on the fact that the specimen we have isn't fully grown and was around 9 meters in length. 12 meters is the typical estimate for an adult animal...

The true question is: why did T.rex attack Spinosaurus? Those two dinosaurs occupied two different niches, and they would simply avoid each other.

10 meters is low for an adult tyrannosaurus. i thought “black beauty was the smallest at ~10.6 meters? where's the 12+ meter figure for S. meekerorum? 12 meters is too long for chilantaisaurus. 11 meters, sure(with liberal methods) but i get 9.8 off femur length basing off of australovenator and 10.3 off of neovenator. also, where's carchy?
