time constraints mainly. Real shame because them axing the raptor idea kinda left a huge plothole with the dead crew
I dunno guys, this thing's skull was found and that was supposed to help us determine exactly what it was, but it just seems to deepen the mystery of the creature. That's the main reason i want this thing officially described, because it looks like a mix between a hadrosaur and a therizinosaur to me. Maybe it's a new lineage? my best guess, and the folks over at the Carnivora forum don't seem know what it was either..
@Sci-Fied metatarsals are leg bones, how they figured those belonged to Deinocheirus is beyond me. I guess there's been scant finds of this thing some where else...It's bill it very hadrosaur like. It just doesn't strike me as belonging to a hadrosaur though...
Edited: Click this link, it's more descriptive on the remains then i could ever be..
It actually was, but I don't know why they didn't use it.
i like this, i wish it happened in the movie
I agree. Plasma blooded dinosaurs would be cool.
However, this was just another theory I found interesting and decided to share.
I'll enter. It's a bit confusing, but I'll enter.
*I'm going to ignore the link because I find it rather Pointless, I'm going onto the main point.*
The term "Scientrific Theory" Doesn't mean its a Proposal, But more so treated as actual Scientific Fact, Because it usually is.
I'm getting really tired of this back and fourth, We'll never actually know-- But that doesn't matter to Scientists, They just want to keep putting foreward new "Proposals" So they can get a headline.
The only way, We'll ever find out, Is if we Create, and Raise our own Dinosaurs... From their rough recreation, We should be able to figure out If they were cold blooded or not...
Hey! Maybe they were Plasma blooded...
Or maybe, They ran off of a Gas blood (Blood in gas form)
It's a bit...
I've got nothing Really going on then...
*Wrote this up yesterday, Excuse the time things... Ducks*
i may enter, but this sounds too complicated for yust one person to organize
Like wikipedia, Its a good starting point.
Entiirely creditable,
Not really.
Take it with a pinch of salt, As anyone with Two brain cells can make an Account and edit things.

@DinoSteve93, fair point. I mix up skulls sometimes.
The humpback theory sees logical for desert creatures, especially large ones, like camels.
Expected Spinosaurus to win, but I was rooting for Pyroraptors. Nothing against Spinosaurus, but they're my second favorite raptors(after Deinonychus). Still a good fight.
Yeah, I heard it was a humpbacked dinosaur that bears some resemblence to either an ornithomimid or a therizinosaur.
Speaking of Rex killing D-Rex, I've got a little project I should get back to. More news on it later.
Sounds interesting Mrhappy!
Colins no fool...
He did Tweet a Picture, entitled,
"Rex Redemption"
But, The could mean anything- Redemption means to Redeem ones self in the eyes of its fans/followers.
Rex could be killing off D-rex, For all we know...
Spino in JW?
Probably not, It's not on the map, And i'd imagine that Spino is a hell of a problem to care for, Thus why it was not in the Original park.
Also, Welcome to our Forums!

I highly doubt that is an hadrosaur. The lower jaw's end is just too wide to seem one to my eyes.
Just look at the differences:

Now, the angle doesn't help a lot, but that is way more similar to an ornithomimid's skull than to an hadrosaur's. Yes, its beak it's wider than Gallimimus's standards, but, well, I'd think an ornithomimid with a wide beak is more believable than a duckbilled with those arms!
Honestly...
.. I hope it returns. I don't want it to fight with ANYTHING, I just want to see it in its exhibit doing stuff.
Yep, I want to see as many species in their exhibits as possible :P
I personaly hope, if spino is in the movie he gets killed by the D rex, and then the T. rex kills the D rex.
the image was called rex redemption, when i saw it i tougth that it meant the rex was figthing spino
Don't think that's a spino based off the teeth I'd say its a D rex

anyone remember this
in the list there are only like 5 dinos, but the image seems like a spinosaurus or a baryonyx
In all fairness, I really hope not. If it does, hopefully something minor, or it gets killed by D-Rex.
I don't know. when I first saw it, the skull looked like it belonged to something related to Saurolophus.
It's somewhere on the official news list on the front page.
and is that oficial, mi filosophy on movies is
''the more spoilers the better''
Raptor were could I find that list. I myself like to have stuff like that spoiled
if he does retourn, even as a major dino, i don't have any problem as long as he is realistic
Spino probably won't return.
It depends. I wouldn't know because I did not check the list containing all the dinosaurs that will be featured in the movie to avoid ANY spoilers. They might not since Spino pissed off way too many fans. If they do, they would probably have the SPino be killed by the "King" or whatever.
I think it would just be briefly mentioned.
Never mind im back for Rex
TREX TREX!!!!!!
As much as I love Rex, in going for Spino becuase of speed, size and arms :)
Oh yes, but if he switched Rex with Spno in that comment, nothing to worry about, right? Just let him have an opinion.
At least the pyros survived. Outcome expected...
I think that biosyn will have summin to do with patel, whether its new owners or from patel corp or even rivals
How do they know it belongs to the same dinosaur?
Lovely story steve, well done.
